hey guys ... why isnt there a session of Xperia x2 on this site?
and i want to know that can i put xperia X2 OS and pannels on X1?
Cos X2 ain't out yet.
Cos X2 ain't by HTC.
And isn't there already plenty of threads on the X2?
Close thread please.
I can't believe people are actually anticipating a phone that has a 3 year old CPU and 256 RAM. No, really.
Hi Everyone,
It seems that i am in a lot of confusion over which phone to purchase.
After a lot of thinking, i have narrowed down my phone search to either the Xperia Z or Xperia Z1.
I absolutely love the looks of both these devices.
And so far following are the cons of both these devices :
Xperia Z :
Outdated S4 Pro processor, the processor is same as that of an almost previous generation nexus which is available cheaply!
Sub-par camera performance, one of my friend is using Xperia Z, the photo quality is definately lower compared to even an galaxy s3
Sub-par screen display quality, yes I have noticed the viewing angles and they annoy me
Xperia Z1 :
Heating issues, while researching the forum I found that majority of users are reporting heating issues even under normal web browsing.
Yellow tint on screen panel, discovered again while researching the forum. It seems that some one pointed out the batch numbers having this issue.
I would have almost definitely gone for the z1 if above two points had not come into attention.
My first question : Is the heating problem really that bad?. If the phone heats up even while browsing, then how can we even use snapdragon 800 for playing games?
Secondly is it possible to identify the batch number of a model before the sealed box is opened?. Can Indian users of Xperia Z1 list down the batch number of their devices and whether or not they have the yellow tint issue?
As far as usage is concerned, I would consider myself as a mediocre phone user. I play casual games which are not graphics/processor intensive ( read subway surfer, candy crush, etc).
I have tried hard core games like dead trigger/real racing 3, and I dont think I would be interested in playing such games on mobile device any time soon.
Can anyone please provide a personal opinion on whether the Z1 is worth shelling out an extra 10,000 Rupees for the sake of better camera and future proof processor. Any opinion on this part would be appreciated as i am literally bummed on it.
Please help
Why sony made 9000 plus colour temperature of z3c display.i dnt know why..i m a die hard fan of sony.i always use sony handsets since sonyericsson t610...i v paid a lot of money on xperia z3c and was very excited to grab in my hands.but when I switched on z3c..i was astonished to see such a bad caliberated contrast and colour gammut..red always look pink...i tweaked with white balance stuff but cant find the solution..i m very much dissapointed with z3c display..
CAMERA...aaahh..i was very excited about 20.7 megapixel..but very bad..auto focus doest work.pics always blurry...camera software dosent do good job in macro at all..my xperia TX camera is awesome.it takes much focused and lively pics than z3c
This forum is called "Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting". What on earth made you think this would belong here. There are several threads in the general section for this kind of post already. And even if your English sucks, punctuation also exists in your native language I guess. Jesus, you already have over 300 posts, you should know better.

The CPU/ chipset in the XSP only supports sensors up to 20MP and the Z1 has a 20.7MP sensor, that's probably why it won't boot

The CPU in the Lumia 1020 is not as powerful as the CPU in the Xperia SP, yet the 1020 has a 41MP sensor. It's not the chipset, it's a combination of factors.
May I ask why you're doing this OP? Just curious.

I try do do this because I got that camera by a mistake and just wanted to try if it works before sending it off
Right, I thought that you ripped apart a Z1 and just tried stuffing that camera in the SP for the hell of it lol.

OFF-TOPIC: May I know where do you get the instructions on performing the camera swap? This is fairly interesting for me!

So you are like a talented person in hardware modifying? Great!
Anyway if there is no instructions then its okay. Maybe I'll pass my intentions.
