Hi, i installed a ROM that change the starting logo from htc (the one that plays a sound). Can i change that again without change ROM. I want to roolback to inicial htc logo.
files to modify are Animated.gif and welcomehead.192.png in windows folder !
but I don't have original htc files...

You should just have to replace the file in the windows directory. In most ROMs the file is called animated.gif. I have attached a copy of the original logo in the Zip file attached. If you want to change the startup sound, I have attached the original sound file as well. Otherwise, you can do it in the kitchen when you cook your personalized ROM.
Oh yeah, Don't forget to rename the file to the same name as the file already in your windows folder. Tell it to overwrite the file! If it says that it cannot overwrite the file, then the file was locked when cooked, & you're SOL unless you can cook up your own ROM.

You can try using Advanced Configuration tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=418151. It has a setting for changing these.
how can i chage dredded boot logo?
this blue winodws logo looks horible im ready to switch it alredy i wana know where its located in the system anybody know/?
in winodws7 its simple as C:\Windows\System32\oobe\background.bmp BUT
thers no bmp file in thare but i think its in an mui or dll file just not sure witch one i alredy opend some of the files with resorce editer but i still cant find it?
I HAVE TRYED WINDOWS RESORCES AND OOBE BUT NO LUCK

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some help converting a file so that I can use it as an Android boot animation? What I want to use is a .bs7 file that I have which is normally used as a Windows boot animation file, however I have no clue on how to make work on Android. Can anyone convert it for me or at the very least give me a link to site that could explain the process? Thanks.

Im going nuts trying to find the bootlogo under ramdisk of S5830i boot.img.
Cant find any *.rle file. I checked all the ram disk file by file.
Also checked init.rc line by line, changed many things on init.rc such as disabling bootanimation, put ANDROID_BOOTLOGO to 0, tried to add symlink to a *.rle image I created etc..
I build my custom boot.img and its working perfect, but cant change the boot logo.
Any ideas were to find it?

Problem solved, I was looking in the wrong place.
boot logo for S5830i is in the para.lfs file.

Please help me where I can find that file or maybe somebody know how to create that file (soft_fuse.bin)
