Has anyone been able to get Cortana to work on the new 5.x.x? I was able to put the apk on my older non rooted kindle with 4.5 it does not show up in the google play store when installed and the program crashes after I begin to set it up.
I was able to get Cortana en-us.1.0.0.224 version to work, hopefully new updates will work.

Has anyone got the new Google Play Store update pushed to their Revo? I have gotten the updated Music and Video apps (not that the Video app has any use since being rooted means you are a pirating criminal) but not the Market update to 3.4.6....
Here is the link to download for those who do not want to wait for it to be pushed OTA...

I am updated to 3.4.6 as of this morning. I am glad it did, because when I logged into google play on my pc, it would not list my device if I wanted to download anything.
OK well its not getting pushed to me yet and I cannot wait so I found the apk quick and fast with a simple Google search and downloaded it! Works great! The new name is really dumb though....

Alright Fellas:
Before gettitng trounced I want to let everyone know that I did my search on the forum as well as all over the internet to get guidance and finally have to break down and just ask the question.
I have the latest firmware on my Gear with Nova Luancher running fine. But I have the paid version from the Playstore and for the life of me I cannnot figure out how to get the paid version onto my watch. I know how to do port over APKs via the ADB process. SO I looked into APK Downloader and other apps to get the Play store app over. But those vehicles do not handle paid apps, even tho I have paid for the app.
SO, can anyone help me figure out how to get the app from the Playstore onto my watch. I do not know how to do tethering and perhaps that is the way to go. I am open to suggestions
Do a trial of wondershare mobilgo for android. Google it and u will be uploading pass to Gear in no time.

I've tried several ways of getting the play store onto my KFHD 7 and nothing works. .Apk files won't install, KFFAide says it worked but there 's still no Play store icon on my kindle and I still keep getting the 'google framework services has stopped' pop up.
I know everyone gets mad if you as a question, but I've tried so many times to get this to work and STILL can't get it to work! How can I start over fresh and get the damn play store?
Have you rooted your KFHD 7?
on stock KFHD 7, google services crashes since the version they released in June or so, using any google services before that works, but no youtube or other apps will work. its probably better to switch to CM
I know that the apk for Android auto can be easily obtained from the play store or apk mirror website. But what is the software used on the receiving device? The screen in the car has to be running on something for it to be able to receive android auto from the phone in the first place right? Does anyone know what where to look get that software. I would like to try it out.
Thanks.
I'm using (Headunit Reloaded Emulator for Android Auto), you can find it on google play, and it work like a dream
Thanks. Did not know about that
A little backstory: As most of you probably know, you are/were able to run up to 4 instances of most apps on your phone. One download from Play Store, one from Galaxy Store, then repeat inside Secure Folder. Obviously with apps like Facebook, you could also use the Dual Messenger feature to run yet another instance.
I'm assuming the October update broke that feature, as I was prompted to update Pokemon Go today (I manage four accounts on one device) and it wouldn't let me update because it's already installed. At the time the issue store, I could access 3 instances that were already up-to-date (both Play Stores and one Galaxy Store). Thinking it was just a glitch, I uninstalled the working Galaxy Store version and tried to reinstall. Would not install, citing that it's already installed. So I uninstalled one Play Store download. Same thing.
In conclusion, I went from four working versions to three, and finally two (one from each store).
So my question is: has anyone else come across this issue AND does anyone have a workaround/solution?
My first thought would be to just downloads the updated APKs via a mirror, but I don't know the phone decides whether to overwrite or install a second instance (that is, how does it install the second instance and is there a way to force it to do that instead of overwriting?) I've also considered downgrading, but I'm on a Snapdragon phone and I /do/ want to stay as updated as I can.
I know it seems like such a minor thing, but it's pretty important to me to be able to manage my accounts on the fly without extra devices or constant logging in/out.
