Thanks very much for this. One quick question? I'm on AT&T BOJ7, can I flash this to switch the phone over to Cricket branded as they are my actual carrier. Plus I think they have a lot less bloat in their rom, and you still have access to Samsung Pay. Only reason I am asking is that AT&T are at BOJ7 and cricket is BOJ6. Wasn't sure it the 7 update blew an efuse?

You can try on your own risk ... I know for that you can flash a Stock odin ATT into a Cricket S6 , But i havent tried it on the Cricket wireless yet ...

I flashed the cricket 5.1.1 update onto my s6 and it worked so I will try this one and see. If not I guess I will know.

Not much other than no bloatware. And I am sure it will have crickets vm, acct, and WiFi app but they are removable.

Cricket has less bloatware ...

Just to let everyone know....it does work going from AT&T BOJ7 to the Cricket BOJ6 without tripping KNOX. All worked without a hitch.

I can verify, the Cricket version works on AT&T variant. I believe the only difference in the two devices is the software being Cricket is owned by AT&T.

I will take your word and word of others that At&t will work for cricket. It is only logical as at&t owns cricket. Thank you and everyone else who took time to assist others to let us know sm g920 AZTUU3BOJ6 will work and how to do so. Have rooted other tmobile phones so the jump to cricket for my fiance is a bit daunting. Will let everyone know as well how well it works.
Regards.

Impossible. The Verizon variant can only have the latest Verizon firmware installed

Does this mean the SM-925V is useless in Mexico?
I cannot seem to pickup LTE and I keep getting "SIM Card is not from Verizon"
I'm trying to use a Telcel SIM card.
Seems I was thinking the same as the above, using something like PingPong to switch.
You need to add the apn manually. Then deactivate notification of verizon service

[Q] Anyone on G920T1UVU2COF9?

I just opened my T-Mobile S6 and updated to 5.1.1 G920T1UVU2COF9.
Do you have any idea on how to downgrade?
Root?
Flash ROMs?
are you on TMOBILE or METRO PCS? Just curious really - the stock rom you mentioned is the official release from METRO PCS G920T1 - back when the S6 was first released a number of people on TMO flashed the Metro PCS Stock rom to help simplify unlocking the SIM - so it should be compatible with either TMO or Metro PCS phones..
If that stock release is anything like the latest TMOBILE - yuo cannot go back to the previous version - but you might be able to root it using the odin flashable Uni-Kernel here - GOOD LUCK
they are clearly testing something @ T-Mobile, because someone else reported getting G920TUVU20F8
yours is 0F9
Screenshot btw?

I updated to the OFB bootloader and modem on my T-mobile phone and the unlock still works, so yes. Yes yo can root after that with unikernel in the unified s6/s6edge section.

Make sure to use the newest version of odin to flash these. Bootloader goes in BL slot and modem goes into CP slot, also uncheck auto reboot in options and reboot phone manually once its done flashing. :good:

I am on COF9 because I needed to SIM unlock as well, and I'm rooted and use TWRP 2.8.7.1. Currently running XtreSoLite 2.2 but disappointed because I do not have WiFi Calling or VoLTE. I'm guessing it's because MetroPCS doesn't offer either. I'm currently trying to find a way to keep SIM unlock and have VoLTE and WiFi calling for when I swich back to my T-Mo SIM. Don't know anything about COFB and not sure there's any benefit to going through all the ridiculous hoops just to upgrade. Anyone else know?
I've got the ODIN for COF9, but it's massive.. like 3.6gb and not sure where to post. I spent probably 6 hours downloading from sammobile. It sucked.
No, I just changed it to model 920i.
Try a few things, but that T-Mobile I found no ROMS or anything, so I gave up on it.

But i flashed tmos latest update and bootloader was updated so i was sim lock again and stock with new update. So stifilz helped me aout it took him 4 min and he unlocked my phone (again) and he only ask for small donation...

That's exactly what I did! He got back to me within an hour and unlocked in a matter of minutes! I then ODIN'd back to full stock t-mo and rooted and couldn't be happier!
I donated via PayPal because he did what no one was even offering.

Trying to Port Marshmellow from the sprint/Boost 626s Rom to MetroPCS

Hello, Guy's I am trying to Port the new Marshmallow (2.27.651.6) from the sprint/Boost 626s Rom to MetroPCS but I need to know which files are for the MetroPCS Carrier to port it over so I can replace them into the Sprint ROM if anyone can help me out it would be amazing it's really just for a project I don't care if the update comes out before I finish but with your guys help I could get it done before the official update
is possible?

Depends on what changed with the mm update. Some phones it's as simple as removing carrier specific files. Others it requires flashing a new radio. You can see how far you get flashing my mm de bloated rom and skip the activation. Then you will need to enter your carrier specific info then trying to do a prl update.
So, is possible in a htc desire 626s 0pm9110 ? is unlock Carrier
You might have more luck porting from the new T-Mobile DE ROM, it's the same hardware (A32_UL, not A32_WHL) and uses GSM not CDMA, so it should be a simple port (it might not even really need "porting" since its the same device) But you could remove the carrier specific files to make a de-branded ROM if you wanted I suppose.
Hell, even the firmware from the T-Mobile DE update should still work on the TMOUS and Metro variants.

I don't know a haha, I just saw they were rolling out the OTA, so as soon as that happens, then it should be fairly easy.
sadly I cant figure out where every file is that I need to switch out and since I was hospitalized a about a week or two ago I had no time to work on it

Link is right above....
Yes, it is easy. Only benefit to do it at this point is better android security updates in the future...right now ATT and Cricket are on same android security update.
Downfall is, I have not found a way to go back at all. You get ATT bloatware. Some of which it terrible....you also don't get OTA updates. and yes it relocks your GSM Sim unlock....(However, all you need to do to fix this is call Cricket again and get a new unlock code if you do not have the previous unlock code and reinput it.)
At this point however I would not do it, and wish I could go back.

Once you physically do an unlock on a Samsung S6 device(*putting another sim in and booting up the phone and inputting the code.) then the device will remain unlocked and you can flash threw odin, or backups or factory reset the phone without losing the unlock. Only way I know the lock can be re-enabled is if you do an emergency factory recovery on the phone or you have the phone serviced(in which they do an emergency factory recovery on the phone.) and I don't even know if you can force an emergency recover in Smart Switch anymore like you used to be able to do with Kies.

Pretty certain that if you flash TMobile firmware to a Verizon model you will end up with a brick. Available root for the Verizon Galaxy S6 depends on the build number but root shouldn't be required to run on TMobile if the device is unlocked. The forum is here:
