Hi!!
Is there any way to use an external DAC in out ALE-L21? I have a premium account in Spotify and the sound quality of this device isn't good enough for me.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
In the new beta(5.1.1 B010) the sound issue is fixed and have DTS menu in options

I don't have it this option. I attach some screenshots (with Spanish translation)
Hmm, this is very strange huh! Please give me the link where you download this Beta B010?
P.S
Do you have root?

I've updaded to B010 with an OTA update from B008. And yes.. I have the device rooted
I have no idea why, but I update from B008 too and have this menu DTS
No problem.
The fact is that I have in mind to buy an external DAC and it would be great to take advantage of it improving the device sound... But in this moment it seems an impossible mission.

sorry, not working for me...maybe a little swipe before ?
Bro. The reason why nothing seems to work on stock is because they ****ed up the vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf
Copy your system/etc/audio_effects.conf to your vendor/etc and replace the existing one. Then flash my Dolby Atmos' or any other. Same thing with V4A.
Idk what OnePlus was thinking when they released the phone with bugged configs.
Guys, any idea why A. R. I. S. E (1.3) break the Bluetooth on OOS 3.2.2?
Really annoying...

You're on OOS?
By breaking Bluetooth I mean that I can connect to a Bluetooth speaker, but then when I play a music the phone hangs and freezes.

This is a known issue we are working on fixing. However Numbers is internal beta right now and we are currently testing a fully systemless implementation.
I can confirm that my Bluetooth also breaks on 3.2.2 after installing viper & Dolby Atmos. Glad to see others are working on it!

Yeah so Numbers doesn't have this issue. I had the same issue with my OP3 with Leviticus 1.3
A.R.I.S.E. is better. and guitardedhero has a team now so it's really nice.
the one you pointed is already deprecated.
this is their new thread. been using it since they made arise. tried it on my Oneplus2, OneplusX, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and the Oneplus3 all good. you won't regret it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/r-s-e-sound-systems-auditory-research-t3379709
PS: if you want better sound experience and has extra $$$ you could donate it to him for faster development and updates on the project. they've got their own website too FYI

Hello!
I truly love music so I want the best quality ever! ARISE seems to have differents effects depending on the phone you're using so I'd like to know: for you what is the best ARISE config for OP5?
Thanks a lot!
Hate to say it, but what works for one person will probably sound like crap to you. Aside from different headphones, we all perceive sound differently and have different tastes in what sounds good
Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk
Thanks for your answer, Arise is such a big mod that I don't know where to start, especially with ICESound mod! But I will test
Believe it or not, the stock Dirac Sound thing is the best for OOS IMO.
I've tried ARISE with many different settings. My preference is stock without ARISE.
Here is my setting, you can try it
Viper DDC : AKG 501
Firequlaizer : acustic
Field surround : 4-5
Headphone surround : level 1
Viper bass : natural 50-6
Viper clarity : natural default
Thanks everyone for your answers! I'm actually testing Dirac
I like paschfirefx ground zero most on my op3.

Hey a question
do you know how to fix the audio recording quality while recording video, it records 96kbps sound which is why sound is bad, can we do something to fix it?
