I had a cyanogen mod 12 on my device but i wanted to get it back to stock. so i searched on google and downloaded this RUU file (RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_Cingular_US_1.26.502.15_Radio_4A.17.3250.20_10.40.1150.04_release_326691_signed_2_2) and tried to flash it to my device. 1st I relocked my bootloader and then tried to flash it with my PC. After some proccessing it showed an error that it not the right RUU file.
Now I am helpless and cant do anything with my device.
I can only get into the Boot loader and thats all.
My bootloader display shows this:
***TAMPERED***
***RELOCKED***
*** Security warning***

If you want to go back to stock flash the Sprint RUU.

Okay - Don't want to say NOOB mistake but, failure to follow direction - YES. In any case I NEED HELP!!! Like everyone else, sold my phone and attempted to put it back to stock.
Changes made - Changed to Google Edition from AT&T.
- Rooted Phone - S-OFF - Changed CID to GOOGL001 - flashed GE RUU.zip -- Enough said
Changes made to go back to stock
- Changed CID back to CWS__001 -- Turned S-On ** First mistake -- Locked bootloader -- attempted to flash ATTRUU
- Went to flash cyanogenmod just to have a rom and accidentally FORMATTED in TWRP -- 2nd mistake
I have also tried every RUU that might have an inkling of success but all i get is the 12 signature verify fail
I have tried everything twice. But with out S-OFF i think i'm dead in the water.
I tried - flashing hboot1.44 (modifing android-info) and get error

- Also when I try to flash cyanogenmod from recovery, it says Unable to mount system, data, can't mount **** and I assume because recovery reformatted them and the correct file systems are not in place.

Okay so i went to Sprint Today and Picked up the HTC One (M7_WLS) well i discovered it has HBOOT 1.55.0000 and i am wondering which (If any) S-Off Methods will work for the Device?
HBOOT Information
M7_WLS PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT - 1.55.0000
RADIO - 1.00.20.0913_3
OS - 3.04.651.2
BUILD DATE - Sep 18, 2013, 15:46:04.0
If anyone can Provide assistance, it would be greatly Appreciated, also i am trying to S-Off without going through HTCDEV Bootloader Unlock
There is no way to s-off hboot 1.55 without using Htc-Dev
Yeah that sucks my replacement is coming today as well and I hope it has a lower hboot. All my pictures were becoming purpley undelicious
Okay so is it Possible to Obtain S-Off on hboot 1.55 and if so which method works best?

I believe Rumrunner locks your bootloader after completing.
Are you sure TWRP is not still there?
Everyone I have talked to said it was there afterwards just says ***LOCKED***
If it is indeed not there, there are ways of unlocking it now that you are s-off.
[how to] lock/unlock your bootloader without htcdev(s-off required)

developer options is where usb debugging is, it located in settings usually toward the end of the settings list, depending on what rom you run. if it's not there tap the build number in about phone 7 times to enable the setting.
Thousand bows and kiss to anyone who can help me. I seem to have tried everything I can think of.

The story is I wanted to reload stock ATT Sense 5.0 firmware from GPE. During this process things got bad to worst. I went from S-Off > S-ON to Unlock to re-lock. Now I can't even unlock the set. The command takes but disclaimer doesn't appear. Reboot-bootloader still has *** RELOCKED ***
The Phone is on a bootloop to GPE. Boots to start up page then reboots a second later.
All RUU release return with ERROR 155.

I've tried the three RUU files for ATT as well as other RUU.exe files and they all error out with "ERROR[155]: UNKOWN ERROR"
I've also tried RUU from a laptop with the same "ERROR[155]: UNKOWN ERROR
I also got AV off
As of now it's impossible to use the signed RUU to get to factory default.
Similar issue discussed here. It's a one way trial. See how you fare http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2608878

Ya for SaHiLzZ! :good: :highfive:
You got me to the right path and did it!
Using the instructions and different trail and error I was able to get a firmware to stop the bootloop!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182823
Since I was already s-on and re-locked i did the following steps with different firmware.
x.xx.1700.x - HTC One Google Edition - did not work
x.xx.1540.x - HTC One U.S. Developer Edition :good::highfive:
This worked: 4.06.1540.3.zip . i renamed to firmware.zip and did the steps below
How to flash?
(bootloader needs to be relocked)
Type: fastboot oem rebootRUU and wait for device to reboot
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
Sometimes flashing for the first time doesn't work, so flash firmware.zip again just to make sure.
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
Type: fastboot reboot
Unlock your bootloader and flash custom recovery if you are going to use custom ROM.

Unlocking still doesn't work. It will say successful but i never get the disclaimer and RUU still errors155.

you need to unlock bootloader (using HTCdev), however, you have a US Dev Edition firmware (4.06.1540.2) with ATT CID: CWS__001 so I don't know if HTCdev will allow that.
try getting a new unlock tocken, and see... otherwise you'll have to wait for 4.06 ATT version to be rolled out and someone shares the OTA file, so you can return to ATT firmware.

yes that's fine, but i don't know if HTCdev's unlock token will work for that combo
@domohan try flashing the 4.06.1540.2 RUU again, and then OTA to 4.06.1540.3 and try unlocking.. Don't have any ideas now.. @nkk71 any ideas except waiting for the ATT ota? I'm not even sure it'll take the ota because its already Dev edition, and s-on..

i don't think there's a 4.06 RUU, only the firmware package. if unlock token doesn't work, only idea i have is to get his hand on ATT OTA (once it's out), extract the signed firmware.zip, flash that, and hope HTCdev gives a good unlock token.

Oh yeah, sorry my bad.. Obviously he can't flash 3.22.. What if he extracts the firmware from the 4.06 ota and flashes that? Btw, aren't signed zips always encrypted? Won't decrypting the zip mess the signature?
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
OTA.zip - Not encrypted
firmware.zip inside OTA.zip - encrypted
So interesting result though. Bootloops stopped with 4.06.1540.2 firmware.zip however unlock still doesn't work.

Generating a new unlock didn't work. Looks to be the same MD5/CRC32 value. I tried it anyways and it didn't work.
I've tried unlocking with flash 4.06.1540.2 and 4.06.1540.3 with same result.
On 4.06.1540.2 currently but OTA didn't come in.

will any fastboot erase xxxx or fastboot format xxxx commands do anything?
I tried flashing supersu to my phone and it bricked, a bootloop, so i installed a recovery and have been trying countless ROMs and firmwares and cant get s-OFF without being in the actual phone, i just flashed the Bad Boyz rom and that just sends me in a boot loop back to recovery.
Does anyone have ANY ideas at all of what to do?

Did the file complete when you downloaded from the internet?
If MD5/SHA1 are available, I would check it. (Hashtab is good if you're in Windows).
If that is not the problem, then I don't know. I'm too new.

Did you used supersu 2.46? Also keep in mind that you can only flash recovery / roms compatible with the sprint CDMA variant (M7WLS) everything you'll find here is for the GSM variant and won't work on your phone.
I need help! I have a HTC One (m7) Unlocked/Developer 32GB. By the moment it was rebooting from Android Lollipop 5.0 Update, the screen froze on HTC logo. It seemed to be Half Bricked. I tryed to FACTORY RESET, but it didn´t work. My last chance is recoverying by Stock ROM. I know how to do it, but I can´t find the correct RUU.
Please help me find It, I need my phone back.
OBS:
- I have all HTC drivers installed.
-I have found the correct version of kernel on HTCdev only.

I will upload a RUU that should work: 6.15.599.101 which is the 4.4.3 ruu, I'll contact you back tomorrow when its ready with link to download and instructions how to flash.
@yurielkadi
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347843559
download this ruu and save it in t he same folder where you have adb and fastboot installed on your computer.
Connect the phone with the original usb cable (or any other usb cable already known to be correctly working with adb/fastboot)
reboot in boorloader mode by holding power and volume down
In the bootloader mode, select the 'fastboot' mode and make sure ''fastboot usb' is shown in red
open a terminal window from your adb/fastboot folder
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip PN07IMG_M7_U_K443_SENSE60_MR_HTC_LA_SPA_6.15.599.101_Radio_4T.28.3218.04_10.33E.1718.01D_release_388532_signed.zip

fastboot reboot
If your phone is S-ON, you must make sure that your bootloader is locked or relocked before flashing the ruu. If its unlocked, relock it using
Code:
fastboot oem lock
