I have a Captivate with Cog 4.1.1, Firebird 2 kernel, and JK4 modem.
I just ran a Quadrant Advanced benchmark on it, and was really surprised by the CPU score of the Nexus One.

Why is its CPU score so much higher than every other score? Am I missing something?

Quad doesnt mean alot to our device as it was built for the snap dragon and not the hummingbird that we have. The N1 has a snapdragon built in.
Please dont worry about Quad scores as they can be inflated and not mean anything at all. Use real world feel to judge.

that's slow IMO. I got 1100++ when Overclocking using kuyaDROID.
tbh I don't believe this scores actually. I rate ROMs based on my own experience.

It's ok. I get 1359 max with OC at 768 MHz using performance governor. What is more important is the user experience you get.
i've got 1709 with ginger crutz 7.4 with oc @ 691.
for others...change rom
LOL I get 422 on stock ROM.

It's not hard to fake benchmark results so it's probably fake.

yes it is, you take an htc one x for example you change some lines at the buid.prop and benchmark apps recognize it as an X8 E15i.
Have you changed any of your build.prop lines?
I don't think an X8 even with the best Custom Rom will give a result like that! Re-install your AnTuTu benchmark and then try again.

and even that the new antutu has changed the level of scores.. now X8 on average gets 3400....so if you consider at max you can get 4000
Fake
you know it's fake, our beloved X8 highest score at about 4k. cmiiw ~
So, I know sometimes it can be kind of depressing to run benchmarks on the ol' T679, but some of us can't help it . Feel free to post your benchmark results here, screenshots are appreciated, and also don't forget to include your settings.
All posts should have:
Benchmark name and detail level (if applicable)
ROM and kernel
CPU Speed
Governor and Scheduler
Dalvik or ART
Anything else that might be useful to replicate the score
Whatever secret trick you did to get the same score as a Nexus 4
Don't forget to follow all the XDA rules about posting links and flaming and whatnot. Keep it fun!
Not sure how to take a screenshot?
On CM11 there should be an option under Settings > Buttons > Power menu to enable screenshots. Once it's enabled access it from the power menu. I think AOIP had a similar option.
Other ROMs? Let me know.
