CM 10.1.0 RC1 for Optimus 4x released - what now?

I just saw cm team has released RC1. I have few questions.
Does it mean it is stable now?
Does it have any change log or realease notes etc?
What about kernel?
And what about bugs?

Great ROM! but, for me the only problem is in the youtube volume as i have noticed during these 3 days of trial

Custom kernel

Will it ever be possible to have a kernel that doesn't have a 1GHz bug or kernel battery drain? Are there perhaps any out there compatible with cm11? If so, please notify me.

I've come across one a few months back, but its thread got closed because the developer didn't release the kernel sources.

Is that the chaco kernel? Is it better than the kernel that Maclaw uses?

Yes, and it's based on Maclaw's kernel, so it should at least be as good.
