Dual core on all the time?? Don't tell me you have a nuclear reactor the size of a Battery
If u look at the apps i posted the one by anryl tweaks the second core so u can set it independently. u can install the anryl app but im not sure it does anything when u apply any of the Tweaks. Maybe one of oir devs will take a look at this and decide it might be usefull/or not.

You can for example use the app "2nd Core", available on Play Store to set both cores On. It will work on some kernels but not all. Im sorry to say I can't advice about fps limits though, I don't know anything about it yet.

I just rooted my p990 to CyanogenMod 7.2.
I want to output a 720p hdmi signal but I can't find the hdmi settings anymore under the normal settings.
In the stock rom gb there was a special hdmi tab in the settings but that's gone now.
Please help!
help please
R U OK?
You opened 3 threads because of a simple diference from stock to CM7.
Calm down...the answer is simple, there is no settings to chose resolution on CM7, it is 1080 by default....
Once again calm down...

I am very sorry for multipleposting of my question.
I was unaware of this incident.
When I finished my question an posted it I didn't get a confirmation of any kind that the post succeeded. And I didn't see my post among the other threads.
Anyway so there is no setting to put the hdmi output to 720p.
Any other cm that could take care of it?
No. All CM's are like that

It;s automated. I think it can detect because it was 1080p on fullhd (when i looked into info abt screen) and 480p on another TV
Hi there, while moving in YouTube I found that the HOX and Note2 aren't the first phones to record slow motion videos, if fact, the wave 1 (bada running platform ) could do that, and if you think about it, the S1 and wave 1 has the same hardware, so can you Dev team brought that, even the iPhone has an app make that possible, I hope you discuss that, thx.
Can you rate my English, out if 5 ?

Oh i see, thank you for the video
First of all, we will need to incrase the fps of video recording i think, then we could make it
We will need like 80-120 FPS, then we can do it
We will need a hard-working developer to it :3
I think droidjam can look at it (if he have free time)

My old Samsung s8000 had that option too, and it was running touchwiz 2.0
To do that, it records at 120 fps and at a resolution of 320x240;
It really is a great feature so I would apreciate if someone can bring it to our S1 too.
There is an android app that simulates that feature (videocam illusion) but it isn't as smooth as the s8000 version...
Yeah I'm pretty interested in this too. Developers should certainly look into working on stuff like increased framerate recording and manual focusing
Introduction
So, basically I want people to suggest me things to review for my YouTube channel which can be found here
If you want to know what you can suggest me to review, please see the 'Content' section below. I want to really help anyone who's looking for a new ROM or theme or something like that and I'm sure many people will have the same questions.

I'm accepting reviewing the following (for the Nexus 7 as that's the only good rooted device I have):
Free Apps
Free Games
New ROMS
Themes
Widgets
Mods
I will not be doing seperate kernels, sorry!
I look forward to your suggestions!

Feedback
I've noticed that all my videos have a fair amount of dislikes and I just want to know what people would like me to include in the videos and how I can make them better. I take all advice on board and I try and incorporate as much as I can!
Please give me honest feedback since unfortunately I'm not telepathic! :good:
With apps I'd say GMD gesture control, I'm currently using the free version and it's real nice. Being able to control the home screen, quick app menus, app switching, even turning off the screen with gestures is very comfortable.
Development wise, NxtGen ROM and the InterSect kernel have given me a huge improvement on battery life and performance, worth taking a look IMO.
I hope this helps

I'll try and get Real Racing 3 done, it's a big download though so you might have to wait for a review of that

Hey, I've decided I won't be doing kernels after I changed my mind, sorry, however I'll look at Carbon ROM ASAP - but you might notice I've got a bit of a waiting list :silly:
I've now uploaded 3 videos - NxtGen ROM v2.2, GMD Gesture Control Lite and Light Grid.
I still can't post links, but just search "HMPenguinify" on YouTube and you'll find my channel.

Saw all 3, very nice!! Just knowing, will you do an overview and an in-depth review or just an overview? (because it seems that you just show the thing without focusing much on it.)
Also sometimes the device is off the camera .
Juice defender, does it really save your battery?

Yeah I realised the device was sometimes off camera but that's because it was the first time I was recording a device and with the tripod in the way it's a bit awkward. Well I just need to know what people would like me to go over in the review because I don't know what else there is to see in a custom ROM than theme and performance options.

Yeah I'll do that in Orca ROM and Carbon ROM and any other future ROMs. Thanks for the suggestion
Right I'm going to get Orca ROM and Carbon ROM done ASAP. Give me the weekend for the Battery Saving Test.
Hey guys I've seen that all my videos have either an equal amount of dislikes to likes or more dislikes and less likes.
I just wanted to know what people want me to include in the videos to make them better for everyone.
I subscribed, liked all videos, but PLEASE go more into depth, 7-10 minutes per video (or 5 if it's like light grid.)

Thanks for that suggestion. Someone did mention it to me before so I am now going to try and make my videos more lengthy. I've just recorded Orca ROM and it's 12 minutes since I go a lot more indepth compared to NxtGen ROM.
Hello Respected All
I've been browsing this Xperia Z1 forum for quiet sometime but haven't been able to reach to the crisp answer to two of my queries
1. I want my Z1 to be free of all the unnecessary bloatware I got pre-installed(I got my Z1 second hand and don't know about it's details, though it's a 4.4.2 upgraded thing with build number as 14.3.A.681 and at boot it displays a vodacom logo)
2. Primary reason to go for a Z1 was it's whopping 20.7 Megapixels things, though I derived it later I can get only 8 Megapixels in Superior Auto mode, switching it to manual increases the picture size by few MBs but the quality doesn't improve, Images in low light are grainy or smokey, can I somehow get full potential of 20.7 Megapixels from my Z1 camera in Superior Auto mode
Please also suggest what FTF should I choose for maximum performance and minimum bloat if I choose to flash my phone
Regards
Umer(Pakistan)

1- To de-bloat your phone just flash a Stock FTF for your model, C6902/3/6? To do so use the latest Flashtool v0.9.16. You can find the FTF in Mega Collection in General Section and download the General or International once.
2- The Image Quality, as reported, was improved with KitKat so if you are already on it there is no much to do, download the latest FW .757 or Root your phone and apply some tweeks to improve it with Framework Xposed and some modules (20mpx in Superior Auto) but I think you will not see much improvement, like I did.
Done.
20 Megapixels in Superior Auto, wana give it a try if you can kindly guide me
