Bricked my L70 - LG Optimus L90

I really messed up my L70-D320. I was installing Cynagenmod 13 with adb sideload cm-13.0-20160114-NIGHTLY-w5.zip
Update crashed and now there's nothing, No TWRP, No bootloader, No fastboot
The only thing that's still working is ADB. Trying opening a shell in adb will give adb /system/bin/sh failed: no such file or directory.
Tried this Unbrick trick with Linux, but unfortunately that's also not working.
Looks like the partition table is damaged.
Somebody an idea to get it back a life?

Hello.
I think you've posted in the wrong forum: this one is for L90.
Anyway, what is usually suggested for L90 is these cases if you still can put your device in download mode is use LG Flash Took to flash stock ROM kdz.

Sorry for the wrong forum.
There's no download mode anymore, keeps stuck in "Press volume up until you see the download screen"

It's nothing to worry about, its a boot.img issue. I will get the original 2.1 boot.mbn from the kdz, convert it to img then you can just flash it in fastboot.
Here you go:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5183281/2.1_v20b_boot.img
Just flash it in fastboot.
If you wonder how I converted mbn -> boot.img, search 4pda for mur4ik's mbn2boot tool.

just wondering if this problem doesnt get sorted, and if i take it back to carphone warehouse tommorow and tell them that i was updating to 2.1 through LG mobile tool software will they fix it for me or give me another one
Say that LG PC Suite prompted you for an update, but crashed half way through updating, they will most likely change the internals or send off to LG to fix it.

Sounds plausable, go for it. I wouldn't imagine them saying 'no', they know full well how crappy the normal updater is. Good luck.
I think I will take it back but aren't there any solutions for this problem.
If you are going to return it, I suggest fully bricking it. That way you will probably get a new motherboard, and solve your old 'bad block boot' problem. Just start a KDZ flash and remove the usb cable around a quarter of the way through. They will surely accept it, well, they did with mine anyway.
Good luck.
Is it solved? How bout go to download mode and flash flashboot kdz via kdz updater.
I fix my (2nd) Linux Kernel Panic this way.

Had the Same prob (FIXED)
Download a Fastboot KDZ. Here:
Put your phone into Download Mode (Volume Down + Power)
Run KDZ Updater
Once Flashed boot into fastboot (Camera+Power)
Open CMD and Direct to where ADB and fastboot are (cd C:\android\adb)
type
Code:
fastboot -w
fastboot reboot
Tips: If you cannot connect Use the Back Ports of the PC not the Front ones.

Stuck in a pickle ( D415 fastboot)

Hey guys long time personal device modder and lurker here, I've seem to have bricked my girlfriends phone, and she is currently not very pleased.
I attempted to unlocked the boot loader for her D415
from this tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-unlock-bootloader-t-mobile-l90-t2836457.
did the first half of the guide ( adb ), I wasnt able to get reach fastboot from lack of fastboot drivers, but after reading another thread turns out her d415 was unlocked already. I rooted the phone with towelroot, installed TWRP from I think rom manager, booted into recovery from terminal emulator, made a backup of the phone using TWRP and installed cyanogenmod 11.
Now everything worked great with the phone, but she wanted Gapps. When I installed Gapps from TWRP half of the Gapps werent there ( the play store was missing ) , and a google plus notification repeatably kept popping up. So I decided to restore the phone with the backup of the phone I made earlier and reinstall cyanogenmod. Once the restore was complete it was booted into fastboot. At first her phone wasn't being recognized, I found the drivers for fastboot, on this guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-fastboot-l90-d415-t2827825. I can communicate with my phone from fastboot but that's it. I tried using fastboot to install the cyanogenmod and stock rom but I got a 'error: update package has no android-info.txt or android-product.txt" from each rom
So any help would be appreciated! Sorry for the long post, I didnt wanna leave out any details that could help!

I'm not quite sure if your guide can help me, I'm only able to communicate with the device via fastboot, I can't reach download mode either . Thank you though
Flash recovery in fastboot. Install a system in custom recovery.

I don't think I can enter recovery by holding down buttons on this phone, I think the only way I could reach it is from a terminal emulator or TWRP manager? So what would flashing a recovery do ? because wouldnt I still be in flashboot?
Sorry only being stuck in flashboot is weird.

[Q] soft bricked lg g2. expert knowledge needed ;)

Hello guys,
i bricked my vs980 and now i need help.
Here is the story.
I was on 4.4.2 ROM. i installed towelroot and rooted phone. Then i downloaded autorec for vs980 to install twrp. After reboot all i can see on phone are colorful lines. Phone wont boot to OS (after few seconds it auto reboots). I have no download mode or fastboot mode. ALL i have is twrp installed, but i cant see anything on screen (anythinkg usefull - only those multi-colored lines). In twrp i can enter sideload mode.
When i enter sideload mode i see i adb my phone and it says im in sideload mode. So using adb i can install something (at least i think so).
Is it possible to unbrick my phone or is it totally lost?
I think i would need to somehow install original partitions on it using adb sideload.
I dont know how. i tried installing some roms, no success. Still phone wont boot to OS. I propably messed something with partitions when i was trying to unbrick it.
I tried installing kernel KK_Kernel_VS980_jdi, it doesnt help.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
// edit
Restoring download mode would be good. I would flash kdz then. But no idea how to do it having adb sideload only
//edit 2
I managed using sideload to flash 26a bootskatck and xdabbeb 2.3.0 rom. Then i flashed KK_Kernel_VS980_jdi which should repair those white lines. Now in recovery i still have all those lines (cant see anything on screen), but phone boots to OS. In OS, there are some lines but i can see everything on the screen (KK_Kernel_VS980_jdi helped). I guess now i need to restore download mode. But how?
//edit 3
I restored dl mode using zip from xdabbeb 2.3.0 thread and managed to install 24a using kdz method. It partiallly repaired phone - there are some lines, but according to info found on net they will disappear after some time (24h approx).
Rafal.

soft bricked and screwed over

for reference I am using windows 10 home x64
I saw quarx had a cm13 build for the l90 so i downloaded it, flashed it and whatnot. it didn't detect the sim card... okay no problem, i'll just reboot to recovery and reflash cm12.1. I was wrong, it wiped out twrp and installed the stock recovery. Not a single driver I try works, fastboot just loves toying with me. no matter what command i do, (unless it doesn't affect the device) fails with
"Failed (remote: unknown command)"
I zeroed out my laf to enable fastboot, but cant fix that without fastboot accepting commands.
And to top it all off, the phone no longer boots to anything but fastboot... Reeeeal [email protected]#ing convenient
please help..
What L90 model (variant)?
Download mode isn't available either? If you can't enter download mode, I think there are some commands for d405 and/or d415 that allows you to load fastboot img locally using adb. Or you can try the hardbrick unbrick tutorial (needs disassembling the phone).

Same boat
Hey, I am in the exact same boat.
Phone: LG D405n
OS: CM12.1
I had CM12.1 installed, TWRP Recovery, and V20a unlocked bootloader .
I installed Xposed and now Cyanogenmod just is stuck in a boot loop and cant get to recovery either.
I cant even flash the original software since my PC gets a blue screen as I install the LG Driver. Error is lgnetandmodem.sys or something.
If I uninstall the driver the phone can connect to the PC but then LGMobileSupport Tool doesnt detect it.
What on earth do I do?!
Re-installing the latest drivers should fix the BSD on Windows, or you can try flashing kdz using another operational system or computer.

Its a d415, could you link me to those so called commands please?
Im having the same issue after following Lady Vengeance's bootloader unlock tutorial

@LaDY Vengeance
Just a heads-up. Upon attempting to fix with the softbrick tutorial I found, my device refused to accept any kind of commands. I gave up. Others may be in different circumstances and may be able to fix it using said tutorial

Did you try USB 2.0, if you a have a USB3.0 port it causes problems,
does your G4 serial starts with serial 505 to 510 and harware 1.0 ? those seems affected by the hardware flaw that makes boot loops
I read somewhere in here that serials 601and upper have the bootloop flaw fixed
Anyway, if you have an SD card installed, with the phone off remove it
and try again without the SD card
sometimes that helps
looks like G4 is a unstable beast
I did the same thing, I still haven't gotten adb working again but you can boot into recovery via kernel auditor. Or do a factory reset via the hardware keys and it will take you to twrp.
Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk
I'm stuck at pretty much the same juncture. Kernel Auditor requires root to function (which we both seem to have lost) and the hardware buttons/factory reset just do that then boot me back into the rom. I also assume it's something with the phone since it reads "unauthorized" on 3 separate machines. Any other thoughts guys?
Also it has become apparent that although I fastbooted into TWRP initially, it did not stick. Leaving me with stock recovery, and clueless how to flash a recovery without ADB access.
@oogsaggie this what i did to get it fixed just download LGUP, put it in download mode, download the 20i KDZ file, and go back to stock 20i. and then root again make sure you permanently flash twrp move the twrp. image to your phone and flash iy from twrp

@COCODRILO45 Ended up doing exactly that. Wish I had seen your post earlier, but regardless great minds and all that stuff. For future reference I think COCODRILO45's solution is the most painless way to go. Cheers!
