Hi all, I cannot make/receive video calls after sim-unlocking, CID-unlocking and flashing original HTC rom on my VARIO III (T-Mob.).
I'm using it on Voda IT right now...
Anyone can help me?
Thanks
Before I get it into, I just want to thank MT for making root in V8 so easy (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583023). I used this method to gain root and then flashed Broken Out 1.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1577423). Everything is running smoothly, except that my mic doesn't work when I use the dialer.
My initial theory was that the mic was just busted (this is a refurbished phone I just received today) but then I tested Skype and Video recording on the phone, and the mic works there. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm not technically adept, but I've been a lurking for a few months now, so I'm a good instruction follower and I'd appreciate anyone's input/suggestions/conjectures.
-Edit-
Asurion is sending me a new LG Spectrum as a replacement, so please disregard this question. Sidenote: so happy to see that MT is developing on the Spectrum as well. My hero *swoon*
Anyone know of a working call recorder for a Verizon Dev Edition Moto X? I need to record some client phone calls.
Thanks
PS: I am rooted with TWRP and I already tried Skvalex's recorder with no luck
Hello all,
I've installed Maximus HD ROM in my mom's HTC One M7. Everything seems to work fine except the voice calls: there's a rather annoying echo, that is you can hear yourself speaking when you talk to someone on the phone. I ran a few searches in HTC M7 forums and browsed the device's call settings trying to find a possible solution or settings that could cause this, but alas haven't found anything.
Is this a ROM issue? Does anyone have any idea how this could be resolved?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Hi Friends,
Need a help from you. Any guide or tutorial for enabling Moto G 2nd Gen (Lollipop) to record both way audio. I have tried almost every recording app on playstore but none of the call recorders are working.
Any help over this issue would be appreciated. Phone is not rooted and running Stock ROM

They can't work because that function has to be build into the kernel. Since call recording is forbidden in some countries (especially in Germany, we take our privacy rights very serious) and the XT1068 is sold world-wide, Motorola probably decided not to implement it.
Call Recorder works on my XT1068 running stock KitKat, without having to do anything special.

Well, we are talking Lollipop here, aren't we.

Well, the title says "even after Lollipop", implying he'd tried it on KitKat first and it hadn't worked for him on that either. So I told him it does work on KitKat, so if he decides it's a crucial feature he can go back to that and use it.
