Hey guys I recently purchased a used SM-T580 Galaxy Tab off of Amazon and the device came with and FRP lock that I can't seem to figure out how to bypass. I've been on YouTube for the last few days just trying nummerous different methods like the SideSync, OTG, Odin, and Realtek method just to name a few, however none of them are compatible with this tablet. It's very frustrating because I need this tablet working in order to take notes in my college classes. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.

The tab is compatible with odin, i would recommend flashing twrp, and installing a frp bypass zip, they exist but i don't know where one is, either that or find someone willing to send you a activated twrp backup, you can get to download via home + power + volume down and recovery via home + power + vol up(releasing vol up after samsung shown on the screen)

Also you can try flashing a firmware update in odin from SamMobile
flashing would not help to remove frp there are some other things into that

Thats why a recommended installing a frp bypass zip through twrp first, much more likely to work.

I Successfully Removed FRP from SM-T580 12/17/16

I was having the same problem, but i figured it out last night. Without OTG cable, Odin, SideSync, Realtek, or a PC. I'd been messing with it for 3 days, so Im not 100% sure of what everything said and i'm definitely not going to relock it to try an duplicate it, but if you've been all over youtube then you've seen methods that require a wifi connection, (I found it easiest to use my phone's wifi hotspot) you disconnect your hotspot or unplug your router immediately when it says checking for software update, which appears after clicking accept on the privacy policy. (Again it's easier to just turn off the hotspot than to unplug your router" When done correctly it souls say "couldn't sign in" and then the next screen will either ask you to set up time and date or it asks you to add a name to the tablet (can't remember which is first) then asks to set up a screen lock passcode or pattern (set up either one), after doing all this 100 times I noticed it asked me if i wanted to set up a IMAP/POP3 account to use within the Gmail app (which I'd been skipping) but for some reason it didn't give me this option every time. You have to be connected to the internet for the next part so if you haven't already go ahead and turn your hotspot back on or router and add any email address other than a Gmail (I used my yahoo account) then follow through with the setup into it takes you back to the very first screen you see when you turned on the tablet. Now just turn the tablet screen off and back on (just the screen, do not power down the tablet) put in your lockscreen password and now In the top right corner there should be a little yellow icon which lets you switch users (if you see this, you've got it beat) now create a new user signing into your Gmail and Samsung accounts (if you don't have one, create a new account) once you're done with that it will take you to the home screen, pull down the notification bar and go into settings (notice since you're on an added user you can't factory reset the device) find "Users", and then switch back to the owner profile, it then tells you that you still need to set up the tablet to continue. Once i clicked okay it now let me pull down the notification bar to access settings, but this time you're on the owners account so you can factory reset it, go to "Back up and Reset" and then go ahead and factory reset it again. If done correctly the FRP will no longer be on the tablet. I know this probably sounds extremely complex so if you have any questions feel free to message me and Ill give you my email and phone number and ill help walk you through it
You are a life saver!

Hi,
I've been a lurker on this forum for over 3 years.. I never got round to signing up.
I've just created account, with the purpose of telling you how grateful I am, I have been looking for a solution all night.
Nothing, literally NOTHING! worked, but your solution worked with no issues, I even had my old apps restored.
I spent HOURS reading through countless posts, watching youtube videos.. trying everything..
I must admit, your post was a little complicated, I ended up giving up 2 or 3 times to try other things, but eventually went back to it, read everything super carefully, and it worked perfectly!
Thank you so much!!!
Mike.

Wow, it's pretty awesome to see someone else was able to use my crazy instructions and come out successful. I spent almost two days doing the same thing. I can't even count how many forums I read, videos i watched or methods I tried. I was driving myself crazy (and everyone around me) i was beginning to think it was impossible on this device. I have been using xda for many years and I'm thankful for all the knowledge I've gained from this forum so when I was able to beat it i felt I was obligated to pay it forward.
I wish I had the time to create a video explaining how to do it, I'm sure it would make a lot more sense that way.
Anyway I'm so glad I was able to help

Can you tell me which firmware you have and how many times it took you to get to that imap/pop screen. I'm not getting any questions about email, it takes me right back to start the process all over again after i put in password.

T580XAR1APG1 and if it's not working try resetting it again through recovery mode and start from scratch. I played with it for what seemed like an eternity before I even paid any attention to the prompt to set up IMAP/POP so I'm not certain how many times.. You might be skipping a step or you may not be getting the timing right when you disconnect the Wi-Fi connection. Try it a few more times and if you can't get any further message me and I'll see if I can walk you through it
Thank you i got in but still have to become the owner

Thankfull you so much
Thank you thank you thank you
THANK YOU!!!!!!! in large shouty caps.
I screwed up my Samsung Tab E the other day, saw your workaround yesterday, and after a few tries I am in my tablet again this morning. I don't use it for much as I have other computers, but I do use it for a few things and having it rendered useless was a pretty big pill to swallow. I still need to make the new account the primary user, or get back in to the original account, but I'm going to leave that for right now. I'm just happy as HECK that i bypassed that gmail thing and got in. Wish I'd found your post right off the bat, but mostly just happy I found it at ALL. Many thanks!!!!!!!

The PG1 can be downgraded to T580UEU1APF5, then it will work. However, I have to create second user in order to switch to owner account.
A message will pop up which says " To use this tablet, you first have to sign in to an owner's google account in use on this tablet when it was last reset."
Reboot the tablet, it will go straight to owner's account. Remove any Google account before doing the Factory Reset, you're done.
I successfully bypassed FRP on 3 tablets by downgrade from PG1 ( released July 2016 ) to PF5 ( released June 2016 ) . The PL4 ( released Dec 2016) , QC2 ( released Mar 2017 ) will lock the downgrade attempt. This downgrade will work on the SM-T580 with firmware build PG1 or older.
Look at the last 3 characters of your build, the alphabetical order will tell the year and month
PG1
P= 16 or 2016
G= 7 or July
PG1= version 1, released on July 2016.
The PG1 can update to PL4 and use the method that can download Google Account Manager . This app allows to sign in with your own Google Account.
Be aware, each method will work with certain build and model, you should know more than one method to bypass FRP.

I've downgraded to PF5, done a factory reset and wiped cache. Followed the instructions and unplugged the router just as it finished "checking for updates". This gets me to the point where is says "there is a problem with the Google servers. Try again later." But when I click next, it just loops back to the "agreement" screen. What am I doing wrong?
edit: Or, can you point me to a post with the PL4 Google Account Manager method?

When downgraded to PF5, it should work but you have to use Personal Hotspot to quickly disconnect at the step checking Software Update.
Use your router is too slow for quick disconnect. Try again by using your phone connection, I also have done over hundreds for FRP Bypass by this method.
You only need Personal Hotspot to create first user with PIN, the rest no need internet connection to add second user. When finish the profile of second user, reboot.
Your tablet should boot to the welcome screen with PIN, unlock it then you're ready to do the Factory Reset. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes.
If it's not working, upgrade the firmware to PL4. I have done bypass FRP over hundreds of T580 or P580 by this method, guaranteed working.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73069388&postcount=43
This method is not working with Android 7, so don't try. The current Android 7, build QF1 can downgrade to Android 6, build PL4 with ease.

Well i have found a way to baypas all of that, sory for not writing corectly but im learning englisch!
So my method works on latest update and latest android version for sm-t580 that is Nougat 7.0
When you are blocked by google mesage that says that you need last used google mail before reset, go back to scren where you chose wifi network, and click create new, then when keyboard shows up, click on setings sign at botom.
Now you have a samsung keyboard writen i left uper corner, click on that so that you get one step back and now you should see 3 options, the second one should be Google Voice typing, click on that( you should be conected to internet before you get here), now on new menu click on YOUR FEED and activate it, it should show blue screen with some writing, and at bootom you have two options, SIGN IN and NO THANKS.
Select no thanks and it will take you on new scrren with search engine, from there type Samsung Knox apk, it will take you to internet and from there on try to find any latest version and download and install it, set up knox, create account, from knox setings on phone set knox as main usser, than make backup from phone, now login on my.samsungknox DOT com with same login as you created and used on knox on phone, now from website aces your device, and fully reset it, VOILA, after it reboots it will take you trought setup proces like new device but now your FRP google protection is removed.
I have spent 2 days figuring out how to aces and bypas this bu.sit on my device, like its my tablet , i have forgot my mail, so what now i need to depend on google to say whats mine what not, i share my method with you guys so i hope that i can help someone, if i helped im glad, you can clik thx or like what so ewer on this site and thats all.
BYE :highfive:
PS
One small hint, you can first install some custom louncher so it will be faster to doo all this..

No you dont need to downgrade, read my post above
IMPORTANT: Only valid for Android 6 (Marshmallow)!
Description of problem
The lock screen functionality adds some protection against others randomly using your phone, but some people prefer to not have this function on their phone. The reason may be that it is a waste of time to have to write in the PIN/password every time the screen has been locked, plus maybe you feel that you can protect your phone well enough from others even without a password. The problem is that if you have ever activated the screen lock function by adding a password, the Honor 4x does not offer an option to revert back to not having a password. Some people on the internet suggest going to Developer settings, where there should have been an option for disabling the screen lock. But on our phone, this option is disabled (still visible in gray color).
Solution
The usual solution in such a situation is to wipe your phone and do a factory reset. I actually saw a representative for Huawei write this as a solution for this problem. But there is a much simpler and faster way. The purpose of this guide is to show you how you can easily go back to no screen lock without doing a factory reset.
We will use the program 'adb' (android debug bridge) to reset the settings. You also have to delete three files so your phone (android) no longer thinks that you have a password installed. When the password is set, these files are created and android will check for them later to find out if you have the password set, so they must be deleted.
First make sure you have adb installed and that your phone has enabled USB debugging mode in Developer settings. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB data cable and check that your computer has permissions to operate on your phone by typing:
Code:
adb devices
This should list your connected devices as a code on the left and 'device' on the right. If instead of 'device' it says 'no permissions', you have to go to Developer settings on your phone and revoke all USB debugger permissions, then disconnect and reconnect the cable. This will make a window pop up on your phone asking to give permission to USB debug mode for your computer. Click on the "don't ask again" option and then OK. Now we're all set, and can go through the required steps. Type one line at a time:
Code:
adb shell
su
settings put secure lockscreen.disabled 1
rm /data/system/locksettings.db
rm /data/system/locksettings.db-shm
rm /data/system/locksettings.db-wal
reboot
And voila. Your password protected lock screen should be removed, and you can enjoy the time saving during your day and not having to punch the code every time. If you want the password back later, just go to Settings and "Screenlock & passwords".
This solution was originally posted by user dp5l6dph5l24 in this post. I have tested this on a Honor 4x (Che2-L11), with kirin chip. If anyone has improvements to this how-to, feel free to add suggestions/improvements. Mainly it's nice to have this posted as a reference, for convenience, as in my experience this is a quite common problem.
Thanks man..this will definitely help..

Description of problem
The lock screen functionality adds some protection against others randomly using your phone, but some people prefer to not have this function on their phone. Awesome script. all though it did not work for me on my Nokia G300 would you please help me find a way to get past this on the G300
I need a Lock Screen work a round....
Nokia G300 running Android 11, aoki, sm_emmc
Ive got adb and have privileges set elevated and a win 10 laptop. but i only have this laptop for a day or 2.
I will even root it if the possibility arises..
I have no access on the phone.
I can only put it in Fast Boot with no option of Factory Reset
So please help me
Hi everyone,
so my issue is simple, yet I don't know what to actually do.
After a recent update via Google Play of some applications (i think that's the main problem), my draw pattern (a correct one) is not recognized by the phone anymore. Whatever I do, my Lock Screen doesn't recognize my correct pattern and lock itself from 10 seconds to 5 minutes depending on how many times I've tried to open it. Even my fingerprint is not recognized (altough as far as I remember, it never is when my phone boots for the 1st time, as pattern must be validated first).
My phone becomes unusable, as it can't unlock. The only 2 options I have are "Emergency call" or "Forgotten password". The latter option just says I have to Wipe Data Format which is not an option for me, as I have important things on my phone.
What solution could I apply, so I can unlock my phone WITHOUT having to delete my data :/
Important to note:
- It's not a problem from screen protector (I've removed it..)
- Generally I was using the option for invisible draw pattern, thus no one sees what I draw as extra protection (maybe it could be part of the problem now after some updates of random apps).. but obviously is working
- My SIM code is still accepted and it's fine, so not everything was Reset for whatever reason, as it's not 0000..
- My phone is updated to the absolute latest version available via OTA and nothing else was added or done
- I didn't use 3rd party Lock Screen other than the one included with the Xiaomi 11T Pro from the system
- I was using Bitdefender (which was not updated when the problem occured), which has the option to randomize pin for applications only (not pattern)
- I've also made the battery drop and the phone to turn-off and left it like that for 2 days to see if it will somehow reset/remember my pattern, but nothing..
I read so many guides online from Google and all seem are promoting some sketchy software which I dont want to risk with unless it's 100%.
Model: Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G 256GB 8GB RAM with Miui 14 (European version)
Thank you Xiaomi friends!
Weird that updates on the playstore have created this problem.
Not much to do, security issue.

Well, I see no other reason for this to happen. Doubt someone hacked me, altough at that time I was using Public wifi in a hotel. It can't be Bitdefender as well I think to scramble my pattern and I've remotely removed it. I've read that maybe if in my pocket the wrong pattern was entered by accident many times, that it will reset, but it makes no sense to me. I'm using latest versions of MIUI and standard apps (not using any unknown ones), everything is from Play Store, as I really can't imagine what issue could be, but for sure I would like to enter without deleting my data :/
Never seen or had this problem and it may be Bitdefender that caused this problem.
No solution without deleting your data.

I was thinking the same, but remembered that LockScreen for Bitdefender was disabled way before that. It was not working for the official Xiaomi LockScreen to scramble anything (especially pattern) as I choose which apps to lock and it was not working on it. It does it only for applications which I've selected and with pin numbers :/ Also I've remotely removed the app support via their Center which means that even if that was the problem (for some unknown reason turned ON lets say), it should not be valid now. Also it was not updated via the last moment I had it working , so for sure it's not this the problem unless someone hacked Bitdefender via my profile, which should be valid also for my 2nd Xiaomi phone, but there I have no problem and it seems very unrealistic scenario for me :/ Also if it was true, they can't change my pattern or pin via website. Problem is somewhere else, as I remember, most were some Google and Xiaomi apps that got updated which I even usually don't use like Auto. I really look for some way to unlock it or somehow make my phone "remember" the correct invisible pattern :/ of course to delete everything would be most easy but that should be last last resort for me :/
Try here to see if the password or account is still the same and works.

I didn't register Xiaomi Account when I took my phone, neither it has such, I don't have Xiaomi Cloud or account, I just have Google account in order to use Google Play :/
Is your bootloader unlocked? If yes, try boot a twrp a12/a13 for 11t pro, see if you can retrieve your data using that.
If you're not unlocked, wipe/format data is your only option. Either from recovery or your google account

As far as I know it's not unlocked/rooted or anything as it's brand new phone I bought in November. So in such case, whatever I do or read from sketchy apps/websites/videos, I should not trust and it's 100% impossible to unlock it or recover my data in any way? In general I can open the notification to turn Wifi on/off, etc, but I can't view messages for example, so just very basic things

Interest to have a Xiaomi account:
Ability to locate the phone and erase data in case of theft or loss.
Cloud Backup:
Sms, Calls, Mms, apps, password, bluetooth, etc..

I am privacy concerned about Xiaomi in general, so that's why I try to minimize services used by it. I have the ability to locate and erase data with BitDefender and Google as well, but that's not an issue at the moment. I can do it, but won't do me any favor. Also Xiaomi Cloud is the last place probably someone would want his private information stored from the hundreds available free alternatives, also is limited to just 2 GB as far as I remember by before, which indeed is useful for SMS, but nothing else. I dont see a reason to use it , neither why would my phone do unnatural things. I worry that this issue will repeat, so yes, backup is always worth to have, but I couldn't imagine I will need it so soon and that it will be for such unlogical reason which none of us seem to know what's the problem which really frustrates me and makes me rethink in general the use of Xiaomi, as such random events happening should be a red flag

Hey, also on 11T Pro? And after update?? Do you remember last things that happened before it "forgot" the pattern? And was it also the invisible type of it? Tell more details, maybe we can get some common points and maybe some solution could be found hopefully :/
Yes on Xiaomi 11T Pro, received miui 14 a week ago. It just randomly happened yesterday as my fingerprint is not detected it asked me to draw the pattern. When I drew it doesn't allow me into phone even though the pattern is correct. For me the pattern is VISIBLE.
did you activate usb debugging? and at least once connected with your pc?
then you can get your files with XIAOMIADBFASTBOOTTOOLS.jar
that's the only option you have left before deleting everything on your phone.

Indeed, it is necessary to have activated the USB debugging and to have already used this program so that the authorization is granted.
Anyway, nothing about this program will remove security or be able to recover data.

Nope, there is no such option and even if it existed, this data is encrypted.

Guys, do you think it's worth to wait for some "miracle" to happen? It seems it's some bug that happens to other people too and hopefully Xiaomi takes action. Maybe if I can get update in background, might get fixed without the need to Wipe data?
PS: I did use before USB Debugging, but from the Settings. I dont know how to turn it remotely from the computer. I also have installed ADB, but I'm not sure how to debug it as it doesn't detect my phone now :/ The XIAOMIADBFASTBOOTTOOLS.jar I havent used.
