Hello,
My brain is collapsing about this reboots, I have stock android 6.0 on my XT092 device.
Wipe cache + reset doesn't resolve anything. Wipe backup data and unmark auto-restore apps on google auto-backup. After wipe cache/reset I put on this device "configure as a new phone" , then I unmark auto-restore on settings then I install my apps (whatsapp dropbox, cant install more without problem solved..), what I can do more or what im doing wrong?
Thank you all :good:

Mental note, this reboots only happens when i'm not touching in the phone (standby). If I'm using it or charge he never reboots! I can't leave this phone awake during night
Hello guys
I have stock android 6.0 [24.11.18.victara_reteu.reteuall.en.Eu retfr] on my Motorola Moto X 2014 [XT1092] after OTA update to android 6.0 I have always random reboot's on it. I search for all internet about a possible fix and I think I tried almost everything but I have hope can solve this problem.. Put on Moto X 2014 forum too but is a old device without much visibility!
I have try to hard resed and wipe caches (don't know how many times I did it, probably 100 with various configurations). Last time I do it I just reset/wipe and initiate the phone without sim-card and internet (always skip) after that I put the sim-card without 4G and WiFi and didn't install or update any type off app (Google's backup is disable and I clean everything I could about old's data) and the phone always reboots (think we never could stay 24h on without a single reboot, this is so frustrating).
Hardware phone problem? System operating problem (is stock and didn't see nobody like me)?
Any one have suggestions what I could do more or someone have this problem with your stock device?
Thank you for the time dispend reading this :good:

I had about the same problem (happened maybe 5 times) on my xt1096 while I had 5.1 verizon stock.
Since I installed the stock xt1095 6.0 marshmallow (about a month), I didn't have that problem again.
Maybe you should try that too? Just a suggestion.

Sorry, I collect the log but I have my data on it.. I will colect it with full reset/wipe and any update!
I search about all forums I could but didn't find anyone with same error, I copy the text about 3 or 4 topics to have more visibility because this phone is making old (but I love it)..

When I bought this phone (2 months ago) he have 4.4.4, I think he update to 5.0 or 5.0.1 and after that updated to 5.1 (he stays about 2 weeks in 5.1) after that he receive 6.0 (problem apears)..
I think I couldn't downgrade the 6.0 to 5.1 (without touch on root's etc etc) right? Could I reinstall 6.0 in boot menu with all stock and no-rooted?

You have to have root and unlock bootloader to change roms as far as I know.
I too am experiencing this issue since day one with a XT1092. It happend across several ROMs, including stock. Like previously stated, it happens only when the phone is not connected to a charger and in standby, seemingly randomly.
I suspect the radio to be the issue, since it is the same regardless what ROM one uses. Maybe certain frequencies (I am constantly connected to LTE; mostly Band 20, 800 MHz) or something similar could be the cause. That would explain why it is such a rare issue and so hard to reproduce. Or maybe it is simply a hardware malfunction, I guess I'll never know.
Edit: Got a soft reboot without a SIM card in the phone. Usually it's a hard reboot, but this time it was "only" a quick soft reboot.

Hi all, love this forum but dont post often.
Heres the problem: My HTC One m7 (international version) is acting strange:
* Sometimes when I turn on the display I have to enter my sim pin, as if it had rebooted itself, only I know it hasnt. It also happens regurarly when Im using the phone *poff* all of a sudden "enter sim pin".
* When switching from wifi to 3g/LTE it lags for minutes. It drops all connections, including regular gsm, and I have to enter sim pin maybe half the time I swith from wifi. Switching from 3g/LTE to wifi doesnt present the same issues.
* Its extremely laggy when these things happen, otherwise it works fine.
What I have tried so far:
* Old backup of Liquidsmooth 4.4. Works fine for a few days then these same problems starts occuring.
* Uninstalling apps. Thought I was onto something when I uninstalled SwiftKey and it worked perfectly for about 3 days! But then the problems came back...
* Tried other roms but I usually end up with the "unfortunately the process com.android.systemui has stopped" when the rom is up and fully booted. Its a loop that just continues (when pressing ok) so I cant do anything but reboot and try again. I tried probably 5 versions of Liquidsmooth but also Beanstalk and other aosp roms, even Lollipop versions (the liquidsmooth one worked but the same sim pin problems occurred). Havent tried any sense based roms. Also tried several versions of TWRP, official and unofficial. Still ends up with the com.android.systemui problem.
* Tried resetting permissions, wipe cache/dalvik and also wiped the entire sdcard. Used adb/flash to transfer new rom for installation.
So I'm basically out of ideas and pondering going back to stock and sending it in for repair, unless someone here has some tips since I'd rather try myself first.
Thanks for any help or input!

maybe your sim is faulty. try to get a new one from your provider. or it just has a bad contact in your phone.
about the lagging: did you try a clean flash? is your storage full? my phone gets pretty laggy when my storage is nearly full..
Hey thanks for your reply! However I dont think its the sim card, and as I mentioned I clean flashed several times with several twrp version and also twice with wiping all data on my sdcard...
Sorry if I can't offer a concrete solution, but I had similar issues (especially the first one, but also lag when switching networks) on my HOX+. Turns out it was the sim.
Try to test another sim before returning, and at least try a sense based rom. Since you say that it works without problem for a few days with Liquidsmooth 4.4, and then it starts breaking again, it may be rom (aosp?) related. But then again, it may be just random.
Hope you figure it out soon
Thanks akpe! I ordered a new sim card, if that doesnt help I suppose its something hardware related...
Well, the new sim card didnt help. My problem seem very similar to this: http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/0...rops-on-some-nexus-4-handsets-fixes-in-sight/
Basically my whole radio disconnects and restarts itself when turning off wifi. Reading that androidpolice thread leads me to thinking about flashing an earlier firmware, from 4.2.2. I have no idea which one, or if I can use the one in that thread or not.
Any suggestions? I'd appreciate it, googling for hours and reading catlogs for days isnt getting me anywhere..
HELP!
Hmm wasn't that a Google issue which got fixed by HTC in the latest OTA? Try a ROM which has the hotfix (like latest ViperOne, 7.0.2) and see if you still get this

Hi akpe! I took your advice and am now running ViperOne 7.0.2 and so far it WORKS! So it seems it was indeed that google bug. HUGE THANKS!
Is it possible to have the aosp lockscreen when at the same time using a pin? I can't seem to figure that out.
Thanks again!
Glad it worked
As for the lockscreen, no idea mate, I'm using the stock one :/ Ask around in the ViperOne thread, maybe someone there knows
Ok, thanks again!
Another thing I cant find is profiles? Need it to make whatsapp notification sound silent when listening to music..

Hi devs,
I am also having the same problem with my moto X 1058. I have tried different custom ROMS but its same. Did a Factory Reset but no use. Even wiped internal memory and data partition, but still its the same. My scenario is exactly the same as mentioned in the thread. I m running cm12.1 on my device now. It is having no other issues (so far) besides these problems.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,

as long as the phone
does not have
a custom recovery
and unlocked bootloader
root
you should be able to take it to a shop - the place you bought it and explain
if you don't know what an unlocked bootloader or custom recovery is - your good to go
When I rooted my Droid Turbo the wifi stopped working.
I try to turn the WiFi on and it immediately goes back off.
How do I get it running again?
XT1254
It is running version 5.1 with 23.21.44.quark_verizon.verizon.en.US vzw
Build number SU4TL-44
I have flashed the 44 again with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Try re-flashing the radio for .44.
You can even try flashing the .49 radio.
There's both ADB and TWRP-flashable versions here:
[Droid Turbo XT1254] Bootloader & Radio Packages (+Unlocked warning removal)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/development/droid-turbo-xt1254-bootloader-radio-t3259327
Still no worky
Thanks,
I re-flashed and still no worky.
Any other suggestions?

Maybe flash the full .49 (Lollipop) firmware, maybe flash the 6.0.1 OTA update? Since your bootloader is unlocked you are safe. We have those here available in this forum. Here's the 6.0.1 OTA update:
[OTA] Official Marshmallow build MCG24.251-5
http://forum.xda-developers.com/dro...ota-official-marshmallow-build-mcg24-t3512813
(Do NOT attempt to install that if you have an encryption turned on.)
If those don't work, then it's something hardware related, I would presume. Just unlocking bootloader and "rooting" shouldn't affect anyone's wi-fi capability.
________
Is there SOMETHING ELSE you have installed that might affect Wi-Fi? Some battery save app would turn off and turn on Wi-Fi at different times? Something xPosed module like Smart Network? Some app or setting that is supposed to recognize a GPS location and do a certain action, like connect/disconnect Bluetooth? (But such apps can also control Wi-Fi.) One such app is Tasker, but there are plenty of others. Some people even have a couple of apps like that doing similar tasks and it's easy to have conflicts or just simple human error.
One time I configured my wife's volume control app to turn to "normal" volume at 8am and go silent at 8:30pm. Unfortunately, I accidentally chose 8:30am. (I swear I didn't, but there it was.) For two days, she had totally silent phone except for 30 minutes! And I'm the tech guy in the family.
Hello,
I have a motorola G6 that after bad root get stuck on bootloop.

anyone already have this problem?

This question is probably in the wrong section but anyway...I did. I never checked the phone prior to rooting so I'm not sure if a "bad root" was the cause or not. However, I experienced the exact same problem as you. I was originally on build OPS27.82-19-4 so I reflashed stock OPS27.82-19-4 as described here. But I still had the same problem. On a whim I randomly flashed build OPS27.82-19-4 following the same instructions. The phone has been working great ever since (I have it rooted, xposed. etc...). Not sure why there was a problem, or if reflashing the newer build "fixed" it or not...but as I said, all is good now. FWIW, when I check the sim status in settings>about phone, the network section is blank. It was blank when I had problems too.
Perhaps this will help you..
PS When I reflashed the firmware, the phone would boot into fastboot mode, then when I selected "Start" it would boot to the OS. If you run into that, here is how it was fixed. See posts 5, 6, 7, & 8.
Good luck!
I had a similar problem, I did the root, TWRP, I ended up giving up and flash again on the stock of the bike G6 Play (Brazil) available here in XDA, to my surprise, he made and received calls normally, the speaker for music and connections of other applications (Whatsapp, Messenger, Hangouts, etc.), but it did not work for the rom dialer.
I thought I had a problem, it was when a system update appeared, I installed it and it worked again.
I figured it was some rom bug I installed.
Tanks for the help.
I solved the problem flashing the phone with flashrom.bat instead of put the comand one by one.

That's because a custom rom or GSI does not have all the necessary files. 99.9% of the time, flashing stock will fix a problem.
