I would have added this to the thread, but it would get lost in the endless amount of posts that come per minute. Disabling SD Card Notifications does not disable them, enabling and disabling again does not disable it either. Even with the volume completely off when you plug in the phone to charge it notifies you via ringtone. Very annoying
If this is how you're doing it, maybe you should keep the first post update with verified bugs and there fixes (if there is one) as they are reported. This way damaged' thread will be less cluttered and people won't have to wade through hundreds of pages of posts to find something.
good idea but don't forget... SEARCH = WADE RELIEF
Mine works just fine. I dont get a ringtone when I plug my phone in and the volume is off...
Im sorry, but my trackball is still intermitent. I thought it was supposed to be fixed?
And my broswer hangs on the last leg, even though the page is fully loaded, I have to press stop.

Its light sensitive? Hm...didnt know that. Could very well be my issue, is there a way to turn it off? I liked in 1.5 how it came on by just moving it. Let me know my phone was responding and just....brought a sense of comfort I can never explain. I guess maybe being jealous over it whilst having the g1.
Another issue I am having is at the lock screen. Before this update if my phone was locked, you press the power key and then either swipe your screen down, or press menu to unlock. Now whenever I press menu, it unlocks but automatically pulls up the menu on the home screen. Not a huge issue and definitely not complaining, just wanted to let you know.
has anyone else had the issue where you answer an incoming call and there is no sound on your end or their end. and the only fix is to restart your phone?. it is very annoying. i found this in testing but it stopped. now its starting up again today
Bump
I know i annoy you all with my trackball b!tching, cause its no big deal to anyone else, but to me, I could live with all the original bugs if the trackball was constant.
Also, friendstream? I didnt see it in the rom, and cant find it, and idek if it works in damages latest release.
Total noob question, but the only reason im interested in friendstream is because, to be honest, idek what it IS. Link fb, ms, and twitter tkgether right?
I'm having trouble with VVM, when you call and vm answers it asks for the number your calling and the # and then says it doesn't recognize try again.......I tried google voice but it won't even go to VM at all......

I just tested my voice mail and found something odd...
When I get my voice mail notification, I also get a text message saying "Android has sent you a Sprint Voice Message. Call 408-970-0000 to listen.
MMSN,
c645518a1548,V^aORG3gDHGY//CM"
Very weird and a little annoying.
Dont know why people are having issues with vvm. Mines worked perfect everytime. Fresh wipe and flash?

I use 2.1 Eclair. There is one problem. The message and EDGE network are OK. But I can't get any calls. That means someone call me, they can find it's normal by their side, but my phone no ring or anything, just like no calls coming.
What's the problem to that? Please help me.
I like XDAndroid~!
Hello,
This happens to me too. Turns out the speaker is not
working (hence no ringing) and the screen remains
turned off, so no visual cue. But the phone is in fact
ringing and you can answer the call.
I 'solved' the problem by switching on vibration
Regards, jan
I think my phone has some problems. It often goes sleep shortly, about ten seconds.... And the light turn green. When it's asleep and the call comes in, the phone always sleeps. But my phone is awake, the calls can come in.

Thats a known issue, it appears after going to deep sleep you wont receive any calls.
How can I let the phone not deep sleep? I don't want to lose any calls.

Try to add this to startup.txt "pm.sleep_mode=2" ( without quotes ).

Add to startup.txt "force_cdma=0".
hi!
have you ever experienced with your galaxy note that the screen of the device just gets lit up even though the device had not even been touched? It has happened many times to me. Do you have any idea how that could be remedied? or may it be a software error?
Thanks for your time

Its because an application is waking up the device and it prevents the phone to go to deep sleep mode. Try to find it out first.
^^ +1. probably wifi is on or something is not allowing the device to go into sleep. Use BetterBatteryStatus XDA Edition. Search it and see what consumes.
Does anyone know how to completely remove setspu files? I have tried to wipe it, unstall it and for some reason whatever it does to modify the hardware is still there. I am having issues with incoming calls with this app. The diealer doesnt show up when i get an incoming call.

uninstall setcpu, its been a long time since its been updated. last time it was updated was in april of 2013! it doesnt work right with lollipop nor with the nexus 6. there are many cpu control apps that work with lollipop and the nexus 6, setcpu is not one of them.

not a screen protector issue. had it on for about 2 weeks without issues. installed setcpu last night and not im having issues. doing a factory reset resolves the issue but then im too lazy to download all my apps and set it all up. so, im looking for the files that setcpu modifies or adds so i can delete/edit them.
Figured it out. I simply had to reset app preferences. somehow installing setcpu caused them to get all messed up

I like SetCPU because I can make profiles. For example, my kernel is set 300-1247 with screen is of, another setting is when the phone is in call, and full speed when screen is turned on.
My XZ1 compact vibrates randomly with no apparent reason. WHY??? There is no notification, no LED, no visible anything, and once in a while, lets say 1 in 3 days, the phone vibrates like crazy. Several super-long vibrations, but nothing is going on.
Anyone have this too?
No, try using safe mode for a while, see if the problem persists. If not, it's probably something you downloaded.

Try adding a short cut to Notification Log, and check there after the random vibrantion happens.
