Did someone try to change the firmware on any UL00 device to L09 and uptade to B303?
I changed my Location from UL00-C00B120 to UL00-C433B114 without any Problems.
If i try to change to L09-C432B114 the same way (change build.id etc.) an error appears "incompatible with current version"
Changed Build.id to L09-C432B114/B000 and then tried to update to B114/B145 without success.

I think you would need to change the details in the file OEMINFO.
If you look in the forums I made a post about converting from L09 to UL00
I recently converted back from UL00 to L09

From memory I think OEMINFO needs to be hw/eu for L09
But I would need to check when I get home in about 2 hours time
You'll then need to install the CRR-L09C432B114 firmware, which will them collect OTA update to B145...then you can install the B303 MM Beta from the other forum post

OK. red your post again and searched the web for more information.
- changed OEMINFO to hw/eu

I had to do a factory reset before I could get the update to install?
You may still be on the UL00 version....check your settings to see if you have things like the permissions manager and the mobile data package details (you know the place where you can change your monthly data allowance and cycle date) because if you still have thm then your still on the UL00 firmware.
I had this happen even though my build was showing as L09.
I took the update.app from the CRR-L09C432B144 zip and placed it in the dload/ folder on the root of the device, and then when it tried to update it said not compatiable, and then asked me if I wanted to download the full package, which it did....but a factory reset was needed in the end for me.
---------- Post added at 05:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:20 PM ----------
Also, something else which I think I had to do was to switch off and then hold both power + and - then press the power on...This took me to a firmware update screen (before booting) where it used my wifi to download the latestest firmware....maybe you could try this....im not certain on the volume button combo...it was either just the - and power on, or just the + and power on or like i said both the + and - and power on

like i already said. after changeing the oeminfo and edititing the build.prop, the factory reset always fails at 3%. i also can´t use any update.app file. tried using the update.app from the b145.zip but didn´t work either. i also don´t get an message to download the correct update.
what exactly did you write into the build.prop?
i currently have no permission manager and no mobile data manager

tried many different things but nothing worked. Now i´m back at C433B114 until someone finds a solution.
I´m missing so many functions but i won´t change back to C00B160 because my main language isn´t supported well enough

Loosing the DUAL SIM capability, which is the real benefit of turning a UL00 to a L09?

The languagesupport kinda sucks for german users, if you use the chinese UL00. To have better support, i changed my location from UL00-C00B160 to UL00-C433B112. This way i have got a better language implementation but lost some features which i´m missing now. I´m not using the dual-sim function which is why there are no cons for me.
But since i have the chinese hardware, maybe it would be possible to activate the dual-sim function.
There are two lines in the Buld.prop
persist.sys.dualcards=false
ro.dual.sim.phone=false
changeing these and some other options could help maybe.

Do you have a CL00 converted into a L09?
If you do, you could change that string "ro..dual.sim.phone" into TRUE and see what happens. It would be absolutely great if that was possible!
I had the same problem than you, so i flashed Boot.img, Cust.img, Recovery.img, system.img and userdata.img (just in case), and it worked. the phone doesn't found the OTA to B145, but i'll try to update manually.

Flashed all files and then tried a clean update. Didn´t work. My Mate S shows the right Build and Vendor but i´m still not able to use the C432 Update.app´s.
Are you able to update manually?
Is your phone originally an L09 or UL00 device? If it´s an UL00 Mate S, could you tell me exactly what you did?
My phone is originally an L09, but i broke it in UL00C00, can't get back to L09, recovery don't boot, flash via fastboot lead to freeze at boot

This is very odd. Usually 'no sim' is because the phone is blocked but I think you're unlocked because you can flash firmware.
Have you tried putting in your API manually?

After installing vendor-update you'll got hw/eu, maybe it is better for you than hw/spc (南太,south pacific) ...maybe
One more way - you could try (with Root and Root Explorer) to rename /cust/hw/naf(or other) to /cust/hw/spc (by the way partition cust linked to the root directory as a folder, and it is not erased with factory reset).
One more way - install http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/development/cust-ultimate-cust-partition-v1-0-t2920167
NB! For now are known (for me) only the following hardware vendor updates for P7-L10 (all of them are the additional UPDATE.APP to the main official ROMs):
hw/eu (found at consumer.huawei.com/cz/ and consumer.huawei.com/hu/ - links are above)
hw/eu (with other size and date - consumer.huawei.com/hu/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=27321)
hw/meaf (Middle East and Africa - found at consumer.huawei.com/za/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=36881)
channel/tr ( consumer.huawei.com/tr/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=42902) - also i think this official 619 is better for you, and you don't need (!) to flash any vendor update, just the rom from folder Part1 only
And just yesterday (!) were bild 2 new (unofficial) vendor-updates hw/ru and mts/by
I think, you could ask him for building hw/naf vendor update ...
Or do it by yourself. The idea is to repack (using profile for P6) small update.app, for example turkish, edit vendor.img in n++ (don't know exactly which codepage to use, i think - ANSI).. Be carefull, make nand backup (in cwm or twrp to external memory) and be aware that after update the phone will reboot to the (stock) recovery automatically and do factory reset.

There is a EVA-L09C636B361 in the list.
I just tried it the other day. There are two FULL pacakges, but neither works. Installation failed either at 5% or around 40%.
I update the L19 version, you must use Huawei Updater tool.
The L09 I think must works (with the correct URL for that version)
In the L19, exist two versions, 29 and 30 december. The first works, the second no, I dont know why.
Use the FULL versions.
God luck.

My model is Huawei P9 EVA-L09C636
I tried to update like this, it's started updating and got an error while updating then phone rebooted with new update,
but there's lot of errors,
Built Number displays as - NRD90M test-keys
Updater missing in settings
Camera missing
Flash Light not working
Clock missing
File Manger missing
and few more default huawei apps missing.
How do I fix it or downgrade to previous version back?
My Phone is Huawei P9 EVA-L09C636
Even though my phone is L09 I've flashed L19 by following the steps on this thread -

it's still NRD90M test-keys. but i'm cool with it.
Hello everyone!
I just bought an used P9 (EVA-L19) in pristine condition. It arrived with the nougat update but it is missing all Huawei apps. I don't think I really mind not having those (less bloat, hurray!), but I really want at least the camera app! What should I try? This thing is full stock (unrooted), and I'd rather keep it that way... Should I just flash the full stock firmware? HiSuite claims my phone is up to date, but I've got no idea how to check what build my current firmware is.
Thanks!
Oooh... the build seems to be NRD90M "test-keys", which appears to be an old beta build from my googling. Do I have to go back to MM and then upgrade to Nougat? Hopefully I can do all that without a custom recovery...
You have an intermediate firmware.
Search here the B378 for C432 if you want the european version (wich is working fine; some other last updates may have some problems - for example, with B383 me and others have problems with the battery).
Where are you from ??

I'm from Brazil, but I know for a fact this phone isn't brazilian. It comes with a bunch of stuff written in spanish rather than portuguese, and a warranty certificate citing a bunch of spanish-spekaing latin american countries. I'm browsing through the forums and trying to find out what is my Cust yet. But thanks for the response.
Also, if I have to flash something, is it better to stick with Nougat or is Marshmallow more hassle-free?
(I've attached a screenshot of the status screen from Huawei P9 Tool, this is all the data I could gather so far)
I can't read the screenshot ...
On the "About the phone - Version number" what do you have ??
For example, mine has EVA-L19C432B378, where:
-EVA-L19 is the phone model (P9 dual sim);
-C432 is the european version;
-B378 is the firmware version.
Also, you can read that thread too ... https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/how-to-downgrade-nrd90m-to-marshmallow-t3541400

All it says on "Version number" is "NRD90M test-keys". I've read that thread, but to downgrade you need a ROM, and without knowing my Cust ID I'm not sure which ROM I should get.
The screenshot shows my serial number (XVV7N16425001010), the model (EVA-L19 - Dual Sim 32GB Rom 3GB RAM) and a weird build string (eng.jenkin.20161230.130431)

It does have dual SIM, and is the EVA-L19. So no NFC then. Does it help? I'm currently looking for debranding guides because I can't find what branding this phone originally had.
Oooh well... so far:
1- *#*#2846579#*#* doesn't work (nothing happens), can't enable Manufacturer mode for DC Unlocker
2- The HUAWEI EMUI site doesn't give me a bootloader unlock code, so can't unlock the bootloader with the official method
So, so far, I can't install TWRP, so I can't flash a C432 oeminfo.bin
Also, the Rollback instructions at https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/rollback-eva-l19-android-7-0-emui-5-0-t3496091 fail, as the rollback intermediate firmware just fails at 5% claiming to be incompatible with my device.
Aside from blindly trying to flash random firmwares with the three button method, do you guys have ANY ideas at all? I need a rest, just wasted the whole day trying to get this damned thing fixed
Sad thing: even with a borked firmware install this is still orders of magnitude better than my old Lumia 930.

EDIT: AAAAAND the 800mb file is downloading at 28kbps... this won't be fun
I'm not sure if it would've been better to edit the last post or add a new one, so if this is agains the rules (I've read them and couldn't find it), please inform me and I'll change things accordingly... buuuut.... IT WORKED.
The OP on the topic absynte pointed out never really posted the outcome of his issue and it looked like he never got it to work, so here is what I did:
Flashed the zip file
I flashed the zip file linked in this post through starting up with vol up + vol down + power. Exactly like the guy over there it did not solve my issue, but did uncover I had exactly the same build as him (EVA-L19C185B361 - Middle East / Asia)
Flashed the intermediate firmware
I download the correct intermediate firmware (C185B300) from here and flashed the same way. The *#*#... menu did not work (as in the menu itself didn't show up)
Flashed a MM build
I downloaded and flashed C185B180 for whatever reason (could've gone with tha latest MM build right away AFAIK). Worked great, all stock apps were there and so was bluetooth
Let the phone update itself through OTA
It updated itself to B210 (or B220, don't remember well) and then B385. Seems to be working fine, but I haven't given the battery a fair chance (constantly flashing and updating stuff) to judge its performance.
Thanks everyone for the help!

Why I can't flash anything with dload method? I have tried lots of things: stock recovery, twrp, erecovery, proxy. But nothing. I tried to use firmware finder too for download an update fullota (of course, all the 3 ZIP package) and tried to put in dload the zips, the update.apps, but won't work. For dload I mean the three buttons method. It gives me always failed, at 5%, with the error "Software Install Failed". Please help me! I tried to toggle signature too to the firmware with huawei firmware extractor but not working. How I can flash firmware (especially firmware founded with firmware finder) using dload method? Please help me and my friends! Thank you to everyone!
These beta build found by firmware Finder might be not enable to be installed on your device. Use the latest check with EMEI to know if it fits.

I'm sorry didn't get the last part. Can you clarify it please ?
I'm on the same boat as the op. With the firmware finder I can only find PRA-LX1C33B130 but like op said, it stops at 5%. The firmware for my phone is PRA-LX1C33B120, but I can't find it anywhere. Right now my phone is bricked because I really can't find any version to install it.
Update firmware Finder, select the update you want and hit "check......" then it will now ask you for IMEI compatibility check
For me, Ive found more than 10 firmwares, I'm on B110 and there is up to b125... Nevertheless I can't install the proxy add-on, I can't use their "register with dns" feature, and I can't past the 5% threshold on dload flash. It seems to be not working at all for pra-lx1. I'm on stock B110 update (phone came with b100 and the B110 update was a legal ota without any mods).
Did you try to send a mail to huawei support team? Explain that you are a dev and you need to stock rom. They may send you a link share it please!

That option is on android right ? I can't use it, so I was trying with the windows version but it doesn't have any option for checking the firmware (or at least i'm not finding it). ~
Well after you said that there is a option to check the firmware the only one that I found (PRA-LX1C33B130) when I checked the firmware it said that It was not approved to install. I guess that is why it stops at 5% ? maybe ? hopefully the firmware status goes to approved somewhere in the neaaarr future.

I get software Install Failed at 5% using dload ALWAYS! Even with authorized/allowed firmware. I'm thinking that dload on Huawei p8 lite 2017 is not working at all.
hey guys i hope you can help me with this lil problem.
I was flashing update with just fail messages so i decide to install the same (eva-l19C6005B135) BUT it was the D007 (my phone has D002) and it was ok, after the update the phone restarts but now the wifi isn't working( it does turn on but doesn't show any wifi available).
btw the phone says D002 is installed (weird) (CUSTC605D002)
everything is just working fine, i restore the net config and restarted the phone but still the same, no wifi
what can i do now ? :/ this isn't my phone

You mean eva-l19C6005B135 (c605), not eva-l19C6005B135 (c6005)?
Anyway, this is old Android 6 / EMUI 4, why don't you upgrade to Android 7?
If you have valid SIM card and WiFi, no OTA for update coming?
Check under Settings / System Updates.
You can also check from HiSuite if it offers you a newer version to install
Also, switch off, connect to charger, press and keep Vol+, switch on by Pow, and check from eRecovery: Download and install latest firmware and recovery, what it offers to install
You can also try to install by DLOAD, L19 c605 eg b394 - for DLOAD it must be FullOTA, MF-PV (must be PV), package number #109400, as on screenshot from Firmware Finder

the same error... "Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package" with the version that you said, i dont know what to do now
here are the steps that i did:
1-downloaded update.zip (just this file)
1.1 unzip it
2-put it on sd(dload folder)
3-enter download mode and try to install it
do i need to download the other files?
do i need to format my sd again? because it have some other files in it, but with the ota b135 it jus install it fine over and over again

Sorry, don't know the situation with c605 ROMs.
IMO, you should try to flash FullOTA-MF-PV but the MM buiild, but I cannot find by Firmware Finder any MM PV build for your c605 cust (hence I also don't know how did you flash that D007 at the first place?!)
You could also rebrand to eg c432, there are many more stock firmwares for c432 - but for rebranding you will first need to unlock Bootloader
PS: For DLOAD, you must download and put to the DLOAD folder all update* files you find for the given build, not just the first update.zip file- if you didn't do so, that was maybe the reason for your issues with WiFi

how can i unlock the BL? the only method that i think will work is send an email to huawei as a request for the code :/ or paying 20$ for chimera software and unlock it(i don't know if it will work anyway)
but for now im going to download all the files again for a second try and yes, im sure that's why my wifi if failing, i downloaded a ota (not full ota) with a different D007 (mine is D002) because there is not any MM rom for c605 just that one from firmware finder rewrite (desktop version)

Please check older threads under the same P9 Q/A subforum (and/or in the Guides subforum) where you opened your own thread - every week or so somebody asks the same questions about codes for Bootloader (just curious why nobody wants first to invest his own time to search for the answers
Not specific for P9 but same for the other Huawei/Mate models (excluding the newest models released alreadyvwith Pie)
Hint: DC Unlocker or Ministry of solutions, price is not 20 but 4 or 5 Euros

All three update*.zip files must not be unzipped, just copy them as zip files to DLOAD folder, do not create any subfolders
Do not use L09 file, just update.zip and two others with L19 and public in the name - see screenshot
Dlete DLOAD and create again, to make sure something hidden did not remain
And for Bootloader codes you have:

well, i think i bricked my device :/ i unlocked it via chimera, and installed a rom from another country without rebrand it first, after that it just boot to a recovery screen with the option of factory reset but it trows an error,
y flashed the rom b135 that i flash before and the phone install it and everything was ok but now, it doesn't boot, im stuck at the warning screen "your device has been unlocked and can't be thrusted" and the phone says booting now but nothing happends, i can't even flash the same rom again, im stuck :/
PD:the chimera or hi suit doesn't recognize the phone

Of course that flashing another cust without rebranding first, bricks the phone.
I just wonder how you know now that, why you didn't take time to read or ask about in advance (and I think, in previous answers I was also writing you about)
Sorry, I'm busy and cannot help you further.
There are guides on XDA, but maybe better pay for DC-Phoenix or Ministry of solutions to unbrick the phone and to install you Nougat like c432 b504
download http://download-c1.huawei.com/downlo...52&siteCode=np
Create a file dload in SD card and move file Update.app in dload .
Use method 3 Buttons To install.
