Problem With OTG Cable On Infinix Hot 2 - Infinix HOT 2

Hey
Is there any way to force/enable OTG on Infinix Hot 2 running Android 5.1.1 without having to flash it to stock ROM 5.1!
I know that infinix hot 2 supports OTG but only on android 5.1! It no longer works after updating to 5.1.1 or even 6.0!!

Android 5.1 = 5.1.1 too, you just misunderstood it!
OTG works on Infinix 5.1.1 ROM, it doesn't work in any of Google's roms (5.1.1 and 6.0).
Since Infinix didn't update their rom to 6.0, you'll have to go back to Android One 5.1.1 and use Infinix ROM kernel.

Success! Multirom running unlocked and rooted KK and Lollipop

Success!
I hadn't installed Lollipop on my 2012 Nexus 7 (Grouper) because of all the problems I read about but I decided to try it through using Multiboot and keeping KK 4.4.4 too. I now have Lollipop running, including most of the apps I have running in KK, without any apparent problems. I initially installed Lollipop as the secondary ROM. After Lollipop is installed as the secondary ROM, it takes a while for the boot process to complete the first time, it seems to take forever. In order to unlock and root Lollipop I had to make it the primary ROM and used Nexus Root Toolkit running on Windows 8.1 to unlock and root Lollipop just as I had with KK. Now I can alternate from KK to Lollipop and vice-versa.
This is for Nexus 4 but works the same for Nexus 7 if the correct Lollipop version is used:

This is from the Nexus 7 forum at XDA Developers:

Hi
Did yolu installed also kernel for lollipop? Or are you using KitKat kernel? I tried to install as you described but lollipop always directs me to recovery.
asking same qeustions as hugo_bjk , before i updated to LOL' from 4.4.4 i tried to multirom various 5.0 roms but none worked all went to recovery as hugo_bjk says, im now 5.0 and performance for me is better then 4.4.4 anyways and now i do have kali nethunter installed via multirom ontop of paranoid saber remix:laugh:
I also installed 5.0 kernel but no go. Still directs me to recovery.
success
Âfter swapping internal and lollipop roms lollipop boots with success.
I've been away for a few days and just read the postings since I did the OP. I installed a Lollipop kernel with the kexec-hardboot patch and made Lollipop primary. Lollipop is working well, so far.

Try Marshmallow With Multirom?

Would it be possible to try out Marshmallow using Multirom? My current ROM (Resurrection Remix) runs flawlessly so I just want to try M before I run it exclusively.

I think it should work. Always make a backup first as usual though.
Would flashing M with Multirom force the encryption I currently have disabled?
tried to flash beta marshmallow (AOSParadox-BETA-20151020-bacon.zip) on my oneplus using multirom as secondary rom.. not working..... it says incomplete rom
Tried another build (aosp_bacon-ota-eng.hamster-20151015.zip) as secondary rom using multirom n get same result (incomplete rom).... is there any way to flash marshmallow as secondary?
BrokenOs for ls990 is the only MM rom I have gotten to boot as secondary. Running XenonHd 5.1 as primary.
Hi,
I have posted a "fixed" Multirom a while ago:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/orig-development/multirom-t3074529/post63831283#post63831283
You can use M roms with it as secondary. The only problem is that the new SuperSU version don't like to be flashed to a secondary rom. If you really want to flash a new SSU (with or without systemless root) you will have to flash it to primary slot and swap it to secondary afterwards. If you are fine with an older versiob of SSU then use version 2.52.
If you install the Multirom apk it will tell you that there's a newer version of Mulltirom (when using this fix of course). You must ignore that as this fix is not 'official'.

leanKernel question. Since I'm new, it wont let me post in the dev thread.

Hi all,
So I want to install leanKernel on my Nexus 6 so I can undervolt it, and I don't know which version to go with.
I have stock Android 5.1.1, and stock kernel.
Which version do I flash? lk_shamu_m-v3.0.zip or lk_shamu_lp-v2.14cm.zip, or lk_shamu_lp-v2.14.zip
I checked the FAQ and it doesn't have the info I am looking for. Moreover 3.0 isn't even mentioned.
I assume CM ys for CyanogenMod? But that still leaves me with 2 options.
Thanks guys!
Hello, you must flash lk_shamu_lp-v2.14.zip (lp stand for lolipop)
lk_shamu_lp-v2.14cm.zip (cm stand for cyanogen mod)
lk_shamu_m-v3.0.zip (the "m" stand for Marshmallow)

Android 6 is M (Marshmallow)
Android 5 is LP (Lollipop)
Android 4 is K (Kitkat)
Since you have 5.11, go with the LP version

Final question. Will it be safe to flash SlimRom over this kernel?

Flashing any rom will likely overwrite the kernel with the one provided in the rom. However you can just reflash your kernel after flashing Slim.

[Q] Does Xposed Module work on our phone? Marshmallow

Hi,
I wanted to know if any of you guys have successfully installed Xposed on Moto G? ( without any problems)
Do let me know, i was hoping to download that and install it but installation is a bet sketchy or scary for Lollipop and Marshmallow users.
NOTE:
Device : MOTO G 2nd Gen 2014 XT1068
O.S : Custom ROM running Marshmallow 6.0.1 ( OrionOS 2.3 - based on SLIMROMS so CM13 i suppose )

Arm
Running ExodusROM since a few days and CyanPop before. Using xposed in all ROMs with a few Modules. Never had any trouble ... works always fine!
(xposed-v84-sdk23-arm.zip and XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk)

You should be able to go back to 5.1.1, but no further. The bootloader should NOT be downgraded and the 7 bootloader won't work with 5.0.
I have the n6f27e bootloader and radio installed and I'm running the Resurrection Remix 5.1.1 ROM with no issues. I also have the latest TWRP recovery installed as well.
