I am not sure how many others out there may have experienced the issues I am about to describe, but it is extremely annoying. So I am asking all devs out there to please hear out this issue. I have searched all over for a solution with no result.
ISSUE:
Every action I perform in the Market takes nearly about 1 minute. So for instance, just opening Market takes about 1 minute to load the default Market home screen. So then I see an app I am curious of and click on it. It then takes another minute before the content about the app is fully displayed. Then lets say I want to install the app and click install. If permissions are required, it then takes another minute before that dialog fully displays with the OK/Cancel buttons. Then when the install completes, I can see in the notification bar that the application installed successfully, but the status of the app in the Market remains in the Installing state until I reboot my phone.
Other issues I have noticed is that going to GAMES --> ALL GAMES or APPS --> ALL APPS, I do not see the top paid apps or top paid games.
I have seen this behavior for all apps purchased and free.
Here are other factors. I have experienced this issue on both stock and custom ROMS. I am a big fan of Cyanogen and have tried the various methods on his wiki with no success. I have experienced this issue on different phones as well (i.e. MyTouch & Nexus One). I called Nexus One support and ran through all of their usual troubleshooting methods with no success. They eventually gave up and told me it was a T-Mobile problem.
Here's the other odd issue is that if I wipe my phone and log in with my wife's account, I don't have this problem. Google suggested I setup a new account, but that is not happening. I have had my gmail account since the beginning of time when they first offered trials for gmail. I also have purchased around 70 apps through the market.

I understand where your going with that. I have posted the same in the newbie section with 0 responses. This section is where the magic happens. So I was hoping one of the devs out here might give a helping hand to figure out this issue. I have posted in the Market forums with 0 replys. I have contacted Google support directly with no luck other than directing me to T-Mobile blaming their service as the issue, even though I get the same problem over wireless.

Hey I appreciate the support man and I am glad to know that I am not the only one with this annoying issue. I have been a loyal customer to allot of these great devs out there and have purchased over 70 apps on my phone and then repaid for lots of those on my wifes phone just because I truly believe in supporting great talent. But ever since I have been having this issue (since moving from my G1 to the MyTouch and still with the Nexus), I haven't even had the interest to browse the market for new apps.

I have personally experienced this bug once that I can remember, and luckily for me it wasn't TOO big of a deal. I thought maybe it was a random, one time deal until I saw this post on Engadget. However, this bug is a lot more widespread than I thought.

tl;dr:
1.Randomly, your phone may send a text message that you send to a contact to a random person on your contacts list with no warning.
2.Or, possibly less important, open the wrong text conversation when you try to open a text thread or open a text through via the notification bar.
Me personally, I've only experience the first issue that I listed one time. However, the second one happens often enough to annoy me, and enough that I double check every time I open a thread to make sure I'm talking to the right person.
My question is, is it possible for a dev (or multiple devs) to look in to this issue and fix it? Apparently it's only of "medium" importance as far as Google is concerned, but that's a bit ridiculous to me. People could literally lose their job or their marriages over something like this.
Also, IMO, this should be on the front page of xda..

I have that issue with it openings the wrong thread. Didn't realize it was an OS glitch.

Interesting. I did have an issue similar to this. It was in stock sense 2.1. I wanted to send a text to one contact, but it sent it to the last contact I had texted. Didn't know out was a universal bug.

I've noticed this since this first day I got my hero. I figured it was a glitch in the system or whatever. I just got used to it like you said, I check to make sure I'm talking to the right person.
Would be nice to have it gone tho if its an easy fix.

This doesn't happen on sense roms only stock mms.apk on aosp roms. I always double check cause it puts me in wrong threads all the time lol I failed once with a weiner pic to the wrong girl. It was very weird man very weird since then.

It appears the issue is now "critical" priority on Google's code page. Good! That's at least some progress..

Okay, they could have handled this better, but the easiest way to fix it is to use some other app for a while. If Runkeeper doesn't work, I'll use Cardiotrainer for a while. Same concept.
Happened to me once.... I sent a nude picture to my GF and later that day it somehow got sent to another girl. Made an interesting conversation.
Anyways.... a flashable patch would be nice, if that is realistic.
An update! It appears an Android developer of some sort has posted saying the issue has been reproduced and fixed. You can read the comment here:

When some users tap to open a message in the Messaging application, they're seeing a different message appear instead. We don't believe this issue is affecting many users, but we've developed a fix that we're preparing to deploy. Of course, double-checking the displayed message before hitting "Send" will prevent any messages from being sent to the wrong recipients. We've found in testing this issue, it is more likely to occur if you tap on a message before the Messaging app is fully loaded, so we recommend waiting for all the elements to load before clicking on the message you want to display.
Separately, some users have reported that their SMS messages are being delivered to the wrong people. It took us some time to reproduce this issue, as it appears that it's only occurring very rarely. Even so, we've now managed to both reproduce it and develop a fix that we will deploy.
While we don't anticipate any persistent problems, we'll continue to investigate in case we come up with additional ways to trigger these bugs. Thanks again for helping us improve Android."

First of all let me start by saying yes I know this is in the wrong place. I cannot post in the development forum though because I do not have 10 posts.
I don't know about anyone else but can you put shortcuts on the homescreen? Whenever I long press on the homescreen and press shortcuts the homescreen force closes. Is there any workaround for this?
Edit I also cannot get into the settings.

Nevermind I rebooted my phone and everything is good now. Phone seems much faster. Just looking for a replacement for the calendar now. I like the calendar it came with. Is it possible to restore that?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I followed the rules by searching to see if there was another thread like this but to my dismay i didn't find one. So here is my problem. I log in to XDA, I have 2 unread msgs and everytime I click on them to view it it makes me sign in again; so I do that and then it won't let me sign in.
It's pretty strange considering the fact that I sent msgs already and now it won't let me sign in to view my msgs but yet here I am signed in doing this thread.
Has anyone else had this problem before or having this problem?

It wont even let me reply or post a comment so maybe this is the only way to get my msg across... 85gallon, I cleared the entire history got rid of cache, cookies, form data, EVERYTHING and same **** is still happening. this is ****ing weird because I was posting comments monday and now it doesnt work...

I had also the issue of device nor compatible, but from the play store of the watch, you can search it by name and installs fine
Please see if you can fix it, sports, an alarm clock, block time. Perhaps how to fix it?
So, first off, love the watchface! I haven't changed it since it was released. One thing though, the 3rd complication doesn't seem to show up? I've set it to a few different things and there's nothing shown on the watchface. The other two shows a circle around where it goes in the gear manager app, but the 3rd does not. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or it's just not showing for some reason? I'm on the watch 5.

One small issue on my watch - when I choose pulse on any complication, all I get is icon, no bpm count is displayed. Is there anything I could/should do to have it?
