Hi all,
I updated my P7 with the B853 firmware. I want to downgrade but I'm not abble to reload any old firmware.
In the option I don't have the possibility to do a local update. When I reboot the phone with +- and power any update can be installed.
Can you help me to downgrade my phone ?
Thank you very much.
Hammer
When you install b853, you are losing updater app, you will need to download transition package and do a force update, put it on sd card in dload folder, turn off the phone and hold Vol up Vold down and power button for a 10 seconds, after you installed transition package, flash kitkat firmware that you had before lollipop.
I tried to force the install for B126 or B621 in kitkat but without any success. what kind of "transition package" do I need to install ?
Thanks,
Hammer

Hi, I updated my phone by manual way with dload folder from b609 to b621 to b623 to b630. Somehow something went wrong. b830 seems to be working but cant conet to te network. cant even change the motive on my phone. tried to roll back to 623 from 830 by simply using dload folder but it does not work. it seems that it downgrades but the soft is still b830. can i roll back to b609? the most important thing is that i can not even do the factory reset. it resets up to about 40 per cent and then the fail appears. when i turn on the phone it looks like it did work becase i have to set the language and the display settings but still cannot connetc with wi fi to the internet. i am hopeless. can i do it in such a way not to loose the guarantee. i think i still have it. i do not want to wait for the phone for a month before it is fixed.
No worries, you have to flash B800 (official Huawei downgrade firmware) first. After that you could go for B621 and after that B623.
1. flash B800 transition pack from here http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=49144&version=114340&siteCode=de
2. flash B621 over B800 - download from here http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=48964&version=113966&siteCode=it
3. Now u can flash B609 over B621 - download from here http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=37141&version=64532&siteCode=it
thanx

Just find no bootloader unlock.IMG for the B830. for B621 yes. but not B830
You can request your bootloader unlock code here (http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail). Through a fastboot command you can unlock the BL afterwards.

Hey guys!, happy to see you guys around and i hope you can help me with my case.
I've a Huawei P7 L10 European Version(i believe) and i wanted to install Emui 3.0(Lollipop 5.1.1 Oficial), but i wanted to know if i needed any other version from my B126, because i downloaded Lollipop (B852) but it always pop FAILED after i do Local Update.
Is there a way to install Lollipop on my phone? do i've to have an specific version? also the phone says unlocked bootloader but i cant install any recovery.
Thanks!
You need to install B133SP01, then B609, and I believe it will be possible to do an upgrade to B85x based on Lollipop.

Should i install it via Local Update? B133SP01 then B609 then B5x? What about any FOTA update?
PD: Which version of B5X based on lollipop do you have or recommend?
I've checked this for you and this is the correct way to get Lollipop if you're on stock B126:
-Install full B133SP01 via local update
-Install full B609 via local update
-Install B623 (i've had an auto update from B609 at this point)
-Install B830 via the local update (it's Lollipop, incremental upgrade from B623) link: http://www.carbontesla.com/2015/10/download-ascend-p7-b830-android-5-1-1-lollipop-ota/
-Install B839 (major fixes) link: http://www.carbontesla.com/2015/11/download-ascend-p7-b839-lollipop-ota-zip-video-fix/
-and finally choose a B85x for yourself, I have't used one yet so can't recommend anything.
Edit: I did actually install B852 in the morning, works fine - good build
Incremental upgrade from B839 can be downloaded from here: http://www.carbontesla.com/2015/12/download-huawei-ascend-p7-b852-lollipop-ota-zip/

yes, with dload method. and now i'm want to downgrade to marshmallow again..
Me too. Roolbak erreur
You have to download the rollback package from huawei support, install the update.app from the rollback with the 3 button method, it's around 100mb, or so. Then download the marshmellow firmware, install it with 3 button, then you will have 6.0. You probably won't have the themes, it can be solved with twrp, and flashing the eu (or the region of yours) cust package.
I did that , and now I have c900b170. everything works ok except themes .
if I install EVA-L09C432B136 through dload method, should everything work ok? I will be able to get later the ota nougat update?

I still don't understand why you don't 'like' OTAs. In System Update, Settings, you can always choose Full Update instead of default Differential. And you can force afterwards Factory Reset if you think you need.
b386 is the last flashable by DLOAD. Btw, I was going back and forth through diff stock and rooted and custom ROMs, rollbacks, OTAs, and never had any error in installations. There are many threads with excellent info and guides, you must read and follow because in diff situations methods might be different. DLOAD is not always applicable
Hello!
I'm currently running on EMUI 4.1.1 (EVA-L09C900B182)
I downloaded the official firmware for P9 from Huawei website, extracted the UPDATE.APP with this tool https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454 so i could get the stock RECOVERY.img.
I placed the UPDATE.APP in a dload folder on the root of my external SDCARD
Rebooted into bootloader, flashed the stock recovery (I had TWRP).
vol+, vol- and power button togheter, it tries to install but fails (software install failed! Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package.)
I tried also with huawei firmware finder app and even if it says the firmware is approved for the installation when i verify with IMEI, it fails after (I tried EVA-L09C900B386).
I tried:
- with the in-app proxy, changing my wifi proxy to localhost:8080 and using the default updater
- downloading the package and manually moving UPDATE.APP in dload on my ext sd card.
What i would like to obtain is a full stock huawei p9 phone, so i could get the official android 7 and latest firmware.
Thanks a lot!

U have to downgrade to B182 and then upgrade to B360 FullOTA-MF-PV
When u upgrade to a new Android system u must flash FullOTA-MF-PV
U could try without downgrade first, but u cant upgrade to B397 because its not signed yet by Huawei, B395 ist the latest approved Firmware.

From b182 OTAs will lead up to b395.
b397 OTA is expected any day, meanwhile it can be forced (as well as the newer b398) from b395 by using no-check recovery:

Update:
I reinstalled from b136 => b166 => b182
After that i tried b378 but now my build number is NRD90M test-keys
Will start again from b136 trying something different.
