I noticed really small scratches that you can only see when the screen is turned off and you're looking at it from a black screen, I know its just a little scratch but it annoys me. Does anybody know any polish etc to try to take out the micro scratches

Not sure how else to put it. The top and bottom part frame to glass edges, they don't seem to be flush. Resulting in not so friendly edges digging into pinky finger. Won't be an issue with s case but thought I'd mention it. As I'm currently using it nekid.

I think it's an intentional design to slightly help with minimizing screen breakage. Which is pretty cool.

My 2 weeks old Mi A2 already have hairline scratch at the front camera, proximity sensor area, is that normal for it to get scratched so easily? I do use a screen protector, but it's not those full type, and now there's already 1 hairline scratch across the front camera lens which is annoying, I am starting to question about Xiaomi's quality control or whether is it a true Gorilla Glass. The A2 is my backup phone and I seldom bring it out and now already have scratch... Last year my Mi A1 I did try with 1 week without screen protector, the screen immediately scratched after 3-4 days of using. And I am not a contractor or anything that works near dusty condition. This is simply just unbelievable. My pocket are always clean.
there is mention it is not the glass itself but the coating
??
No, nothing.

By the time i received my screen protector, it has lots off tiny scratches even if i did nothing to scratch it, put it in the same pocket as my keys etc..
Damn it! I'll have to litterally unbox it at the gsm service to apply a protection from moment zero

No better buy one! Comes with a soft TPU case though. AliExpress this one is cheap and fits perfectly:

I just have a clear skin on mine covering the back, sides, top, and bottom. No issues even with a drop or two so far. The screen is naked and surprisingly not even 1 scratch since release day. My mate 20 pro screen had a bunch of scratches on the screen within one week. Glad to see this is not an issue on this phone.
It's too slippy to use naked so also using a cover on back and sides but not the screen.
Dropped it several times so far (more than any other phone) and it's fine.

Used it naked for 2 weeks and got a huge deep scratch on the middle of the screen. Back glass is ok never had an issue but front glass is scary sensitive.
Front glass got micro scratches when I remove loca glue tempered glass with a card. Very sensitive and prone to scratches. But scratches are hidden under the newly installed loca glue tempered glass. In case anyone wondering, I am using Zeelot UV Glue TG with UAG plasma Ash.

I never wear clothes when using my P30 Pro.
I'm using the phone naked. Only before I put it into my pocket, I put it into a sock (will get that one very soon).

Before the nano liquid application, I have some minor scratches. Haven't noticed them after. Some people told me that after 6 months, I should apply another if I want scratch protection to the fullest. I honestly don't know if that is true.
I do. Never found the cover that didn't annoy the crap out of me. So I decided to go commando ever since the first Xperia Z.
Yes, it's too slippy. Even worse, it's quite heavy when you use it lying down - couple of times I fell asleep and it landed on my face even.
Fell on the carpeted floof a couple of time from the couch, but so far not a scratch.
I'm not using it naked when in public places, don't feel like getting arrested for public nudity.
On a serious note, yes i'm using it without any form of cover on the display and backside. It's a bit scratched here and there but it's not too bad.
