[Q] update firmware 4.0.4 error

Hi,
some one could help me about :
my firmware is android.4.0.3 and i can not update firmware 4.0.4 !!
The download is ok but at the reboot cant not install firmware !!
Intially my config was :
PDA : N7000XXLC1
PHONE : N7000BUKK1
CSC:N7000SFRLC2
Build Info : Fri Mar 2 14;38:11 KST 2012
Version Android
2.3.6
And after flash whith Odin :
PDA:N7000XXLQ3
PHONE : N7000XXLPT
CSC : N7000SFRLP6
Build Info : Web May 30 20:25:58 KST 2012
Version Android
4.0.3
I think I made ​​a mistake, some onr could help me ?

Sometimes I wish I had never rooted my phone but we all learn from our mistakes and try to make the best out of it. I am sorry if I am annoying any of you with my posts and/or questions but we are in this together as an Android family
I am currently running:
Android version: 4.1.2
HTC Sense version: 5.0
Software version: EclipticOne-Revamped-Inverted-v3.5
Kernel version: 3.4.10-g3adc80e [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT
Baseband version: 1.00.20.0315
Build number: 1.29.651.10 CL166937 release-keys
Custom recovery: TWRP v2.5 (apparently v2.6 is corrupted for my device)
My question is:
1) How do I update the firmware from 1.29.651.10 to 2.24.401.1?

I have downloaded some 2.3.6 versions, but they don't work , what should i do, to get android 2.3.6 and latvian language in it ?

I have read varios articles, threads, postes, and much more info but none all seem to be what I need, Im thinking Im the only one with this kind of phone and baseband and everything can't seem to find the proper way to ROOT MY PHONE!
Back in the days it was very simple but no more,

So You see I can't find any proper method for rooting my Phone and need to root it. But hope anyone can help me..

What happened to all the software to properly root the Android phones?

Use any of the provided 4.1.2 kernel..usually the latest should work.
