Has anyone else tried running this game on this tablet?
For me, the menus are soo slow and can't even start a level.
I'm running FireOS 5.1.1 and have rooted.
The app is on the internal storage so my sd card isn't the problem.
Thanks
I run it Asphalt 8 on Resurrection Remix ROM on my Fire just fine. No slow menus or anything. This game requires an internet connection to download each level BTW.

Hi guys,
i recently bought the nook color with the ebay coupon and i am running the Customized Nookie Froyo 0.6.8 Image for SDcard. With the nookie room, i tried to download apps from market and noticed that the wifi connectivity speed is extremely slow that it was unusable which also applied to web browsing. So i read bunch of thread about the nook color having wifi issue and i thought it was hardware related issue. However, when i tried the nook color stock rom with auto nooter root method, i didn't notice the connectivity issue anymore. I burn to SD card twice with low format but same thing happend. I want to use 2.2 rom but i don't know what to do from this point.
I can confirm the wifi issues noted in post above, I have exact same setup. I was thinking it may have been due to my Kingston 8G/class 4 SD? I could not get signed into gmail due to unreliable connection.
I think I am just going to load Rom manager and flash recovery.

It would have been nice to run this alternate android version off the SD card and keep the stock rooted version on the Nook for access to Barnes & Noble account functionality but that's like having your cake and eating it too
I was going to load Gingerbread next anyway, and then try a Honeycomb test. So I guess it's not worth it to me to keep struggling with running a ROM off the SD card for now.
It seems like it is extremely easy to revert back to stock firmware, so I don't have an issue with trying different options
Same setup here...same issues. Wifi is really, really slow. There are threads 20 pages deep that document running froyo from the SD card. Yet not many people seem to be having wifi connectivity issues. I exchanged my nook tonight because it had a dead/bright pixel in the middle of the screen. The replacement is having the same wifi issues when running from the SD card. How is this not being talked about more, I wonder?
I have the same problem. It was fixed when I turn wifi off and back on again.
Hi All,
Has anyone got this game to work, and how? Apparently it had issues on our Note and SGS2, in the graphics department.
If you let it auto detect graphics when run, it will download the Mali SD Card data, but sadly this build is missing data from manufactures, such as tracks and other files.
Some people say to use the Adreno SD Card data, but as others have said... Although the game works, it lacks colour and everything appears black. They say to then use/download Chainfire 3D App, that installsa 3D driver layer, but all this does is locks up the phone into a non booster...
Some say the latest version kills support for our Notes, and that an older build v0.594 non HD works, but this doesn't even start at all for me...
Any ideas, anyone else got this to work?
Cheers Lister
No one's played this game it would appear then, even though there are video's of it working on YouTube???
I played the game. It stopped working some time ago. some update on their side broke compatability.
Hi Azeazezar / All,
Thats interesting to know, and thats what I heard too... That an upgrade (from their end) as well as an upgraded OS (I think from either Gingerbread upwards, or could of even been IceCream Sandwich / Android 2.3 or Android 4.0.x) also killed it...
Apparently there is a fix for the game to still work, but requires using an older version of the APK, and due to the graphics chip used in the NOTE and SGS2, that you have to find/use a certain set of SD Data files....
So wondered if anyone has played this game lately on a JellyBean (Android 4.1.x / 4.2.x / 4.3.x) rom, and can clearly list how they did it please??? or via PM.
As I dont like the latest version, Real Racing 3 is no where near as good as Real Racing 2, the game play itself is slow by having to wait ages for car to be repaired or unless you PAY to speed it up. Plus the game speed itself is slow/sluggish.....
RR2 was so much better....
Thanks, Lister

I'm making this thread since I can't post in the development forum. I've been having some slow WiFi troubles since installing Hashcode's CM12 build. I did a completely clean install of the latest build.
I've read of many connectivity problems, etc -- my WiFi connects and stays connected with no problems, however, my speeds are consistently very slow. For example, where I'm sitting right now my phone gets ~23 mbps on a speed test, but the Nook only gets about ~2-3 mbps. This has been consistent since installing about a week ago. My WiFi has not been this slow on my Nook in the past on other ROM builds. I tried deleting the folder noted previously in the thread and rebooting to no avail. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I would also like to say that most everything else has been running very well and I am very thankful to Hashcode for this build! Great work.

I have cyanogenmod 13 on a XT1064 Titan. I downloaded and installed snes 9x ex+ and somehow it just stays frozen when I start the app, the touch controls are unresponsive only to that app, other than that everything else outside of that app works fine. Is anyone else having the same problem on cm 13 with snes 9x ex+?

Yup. Same here. CM13 is amazing and I wouldn't go back, but I have to say, I was really happy riding the nostalgia train with Bahamut Lagoon!!
By the way, are you using your SD card as internal? I thought it could be that...

Internal
Awesome, yeah the snes has alot of great games for it, I usually end up playing some Rushing beat, Maximum Carnage, Contra III, and many others. I ended up making an internal sd card, afterwards I formatted it back to external.
Aaaand is it working now? I've been trying to see whether anyone was mentioning this issue around the internet but I had no luck whatsoever. Is it too early for marshmallow? Is it just cm13? Is it just Titan?
I had no luck either, after I changed it to external, it still had the same problem of being non responsive in any way, it starts up but it does not respond to any touch function.
Well then, I suppose it might be a problem with marshmallow. Either that or, again, with cm13 or with Titan cm13.
I'm sad!

Me too, hopefully the app will end up functioning in a future build, the same problem was also happening in Retroarch.

Hello,
what is the best ROM for playing Pokemon GO on this device? I have used CyanogenMod 4.4.4. custom rom, but when im playing the phone laggs and sometimes crashes, and android system wastes too much ram memory (about 400-500 MB, almost half). The GPS also doesn't work well (in bigger cities it works but not precisely, in rural areas it doesnt work at all). I tried to play on other roms, but device fails on safety net check, so i can't play.
So, does anyone play Pokemon without any problems and on which rom?

You're lucky. I've tried about dozen of roms but none of them work. I always get the 'unable to athenticate' error. What rom are you using? I'd be happy with that.
I do not know the minimum requirements of Pokémon GO. But official CM 10.1.3 has the best performance I ever tried. In second place comes official CM 11. You can try some kernels to improve performance too. I recommend Werewolf's and Iodak's kernels.
