[Q] Signal Issue

I flashed omars rom about a week ago and everything was going great until this morning. I woke up and have no signal at all. Rang my operator, they said there's nothing wrong with the network. I've tried everything I can think but nothing. I've flashed different roms, kernels and ended up using rsd lite to go back to stock, and still no good. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
It can be hardware issue. If flashing full stock rom didn't help it shouldn't be software issue.
Download any app to enter radio settings and change to only 2g but it must be changed in radio settings, not just phone menu setting. If it wint help on stock full rom for 90% it gonna be hardware issue.

[I9295] Cellular not working

Hey guys,
in the beginning, sorry for my bad english (native german). I have a problem with my I9295 aka S4 Active. Since the update to 4.4.2, my phone gets thrown out of the network. Wlan and Bluetooth is fine. Now I flashed the official Samsung DOB4 firmware. Yes, I've downloaded the file multiple times, and the md5 sum was always right. After I flashed it, I was very happy because my cellular network was working again, I could make some calls, etc. But after 20 minutes, it started again. No network. Well, my IMEI was null, and to fix it I had to root. After rooting, my IMEI is there again (yes, the right one) and everything worked fine and was still working, up to yesterday. IMEI still there, baseband too, everything seems fine, but I can't get network. I have to reboot multiple times to get it working again, after that it's working maximum a day, after that, no network again . Atm, i've flashed CM12, but the error is still occuring. I'm very desperate, I hope somebody can help me.
I have a quite similar problem:
My I9295 loses service randomly. Happens quite often.
When I try to go to Settings/More Networks/Mobile Networks I am told "No SIM ..."
SIM is in and had been active. Phono tells me I have network reception.
After reboot it works for an hour or 20 minutes or whatever it wants to.
Sometimes it reconnects after a while, sometimes not.
When I leave it on during night netx morning reconnect works only via reboot.
SIM reader had been replaced.
Problem persists with genuine 5.0.1, with this one: [ROM][Official Nightly CM12/Unofficial CM12.1][5.0/5.1.1] builds for I9295
and WizCyan ROM.
Any suggestions?
BTW I use a TWRP recovery
Possible reason explained here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=56955843
Enjoy
Thanks for the hint.
Not sure if I get this. The problem was also there with the genuine Samsung ROM (lolipop)while the thread talks aout losing modem function after flashing custom ROM.
About previous I am not sure as I bought it used with 4.2.2 on it.
I updated to 4.4 and then 5 OTA, all genuine.
Only because the mobile kept on losing network I switched to custom ROM, but the problem persists.
At the moment I use the Pac-Man ROM 5.1.1 where it seems to be more stable.
Strange!
@augek
The linked thread isn't only about custom roms - you can end up with partly flashed baseband on genuine if you don't power off before download mode and flash using Odin.
Was the replacement job of SIM reader done by a qualified person?
Following your Suggestion i flashed the genuine lollipop with odin. Yes i switched of Prior to flashing.
And Yes the Person Who did the card reader Job is qualified.
Still the Problem persists.
So to me the question is if the Firmware (driver) is the Problem of my sim card. The sim i tried on my s4mini and doesn't cause Problems so far as far as i noticed.
P****es me of somehow.

[Q] T-Mobile lost signal after factory flash 5.1

Hey Guys,
I have seen multiple threads about 5.1 having an issue with SMS/MMS. My problem is that I do not get a signal at all. I did a full factory flash to Android 5.1 and now i get no connection what so ever. I have tried multiple combinations with toggling Enhanced 4G LTE mode and Preferred network type and nothing makes any difference. If I flash back to SOKP rc1 5.0.2 it works great. I have the latest bootloader and radio. Has anyone experenced this or have any tips?
Thank You,
DFL
Have you tried changing your APN? Try these settings https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-17581 ... Then delete all other APNs you're not using
@YankInDaSouth yeah, i did do that. after much trial and error i got it working. i ended up re-flashing the radio via fastboot, reset and the data/voice cam in.
thank you for the help,
dfl
Glad you got it all worked out!!
611 works for you?
611 not working for me. On stock rooted ROM.

Losing signal.. (XT1063)

Hey everyone, I recently came into problems with losing 3G (H+) signal and sometimes just all cellular network connectivity in general. Everything was working fine, I had the BlissPop 5.1.1 rom installed. I recently tried installing CyanPop android 6.0.1 and all of a sudden I'm losing signal everywhere and I only get 2G(Edge). I tried reverting back to BlissPop and it didn't solve anything. Any possible solutions? Thanks!

If it is under warranty. Flash the stock COS and lock the bootloader. Send it to service centre. I had the same issue after using it for just one month. I had tried all possibly Way's. But didn't work. I sent it for service and got it back after 15 days. They changed the mother board. Now it is fine. I am from Hyderabad, India.
