Hello about 3 months ago i root my moto g x1068 and flashed the CM 12.1. Everything was working fine but around 2 weeks ago my phone started losing the sim card. When i was rebooting it they were working for a couple of minutes and after again i was receiving the message "no sim card". I flashed the stock rom 5.02 but the problem still exists any ideas :/ ? I tried this tutorial but still nothing http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/restore-to-stock-original-motorola-t3155774

my phone was working fine about 2 weeks ago I updated from JF 1.5 adp with jf recovery to CyanogenMod v3.6.7 with recovery 1.3.1
The only problem I had in that time was a random reboot when I was working on setting up the gui on debain.
Last night I went to use my phone and I had no signal so I went to wireless apn's and tried to select T-moblie, but it said my sim card did not support this. I had been using it earlier that day. So I tried a reboot. same error now with the notification that I had no sim card. Tried a wipe still no luck. Any suggestions?
Tried a 2nd t-moblie sim card. and it works fine. tried my sim card in another G1 and got no sim card error. going to the store to have t-moblie replace my sim card.
Every time I reboot my M7 HTC One with Viperone 6.1.0 it shows a data connections for just a moment, then it drops out and a "Sim Card Inserted" notification pops up where you have to choose your carrier. I've tried full wipe and reinstall 3 times now, as well as removing the sim and rebooting and reinseting several times. I'm upgrading from Viperone 5.8 with the same sim card that has worked fine for a few months now. I'm also using DarkOne theme but I don't think it has anything to do with the issue. The issue is present whether or not I restore my account and apps. Does anyone out there have a suggestions for a fix?
sim card
I had an error stating that my SIM card was a non-verizon SIM card from a diffent phone, then it suddenly started working just fine... I have only been running viper one for a day, and I absolutely love it.
The same issue is present with Viperone 6.2 and 6.2.1. I would love a suggestion for a fix. The next update I'll do another full wipe and install and update if the issue is still present.
Hi guys,
There is an issue with XT1068 (TITAN RETAILALL Deutschland) with sim2. I had original .17 firmaware, then updated to .23 DSDS and immediately updated to 5.0.2 captured SOAK OTA (indian). 3-4 days moto was working fine, both SIM card and both networks were in a working state. I was received sms and calls. Then SIM2 starts to disappear (like no sim in the slot). Restart usually helped. And finally on 4th or 5th day it disappeared completely. Tried swapping SIM cards between slots, to be sure that both cards are working. Just the same problem was reported by one more guy in the 5.0.2OTA thread.
I tried downgrading to .23 DSDS KitKat using mfastboot / fastboot, then dalvik cache and cache wipe in TWRP. (Had to unlock the bootloader ). No success. SIM2 in settings simply disabled (grayed). Then I have flash RETAIL DE .23. still no success. SIM1 works fine, but SIM2 is "grayed".
Current baseband is MSM8626BP_1032..394.88.00R, EMEA_DSDS_CUST.
I found a thread for Moto G1, guy fixed network issue by flashing MODEM couple of times. No success for me.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Hey guys!
So today I tried getting an update for my stock 5.02 unlocked XT1068.
Considering that almost bricked my phone I decided to go for a custom ROM to avoid the issue in the future,
Now, after finally updating my bootloaded to 48.82 and recovery to 2.8.7 I managed to flash the [THEA][6.0] Cyanogenmod 13.0 [UNIFIED] ROM from this forum.
No other would be accepted due to the device being THEA.
I flashed the gapss afetrward and rebooted the phone.
It started up nicely, sets up the 110 apps.
Now as soon as I get to setting up my account and so on, I get the message the phone "does not detect any SIM card".
Mind you my SIM is inside the SIM1 slot all the time and it worked fine just 6 hours ago.
Now I tried looking up the forums for Moto G 2014 and 2014 LTE but found nothing that could help me.
Supposedly these new ROMs don't have the old issue with SIM, on the other hand they do not work with multi-sim (XT1068 is dual).
I am running out of options here, I've read through multiple full threads on these ROMs and I would like to avoid going back to stock ROM.
Would really appreciate any kind of advice.
Flash correct TWRP and CM:

You are a wizard, you know that?!
Changing to Titan distri solved the issue.
Up till now I was really convinced that THEA was connected to hardware, not that changing up the Recovery will fix stuff.
Thank you so much LuK!
I have about 1 year with my HTC one M7. It was working fine with stock rom, i then changed it to cm 12.1 and it was working great, then i wanted to try viperone and it was working nicely.
A couple of days ago all of a sudden my htc wont recognize the sim card, i'm currently using viperone v9.0.
What i have noticed is that if i boot in safe mode the phone recognizes the sim fine but when i boot normally it doesn't. I have tried wiping everything and installing again, i tried with CM and viperone and i cant get the sim card to work..
Have anyone had this issue with this phone? What could be causing this?
