Data connection turning off itself - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Since yesterday my cellular data keep turning off by themselves.
I updated my ROM (CM 12.1) to its latest nightly and put back Helium 3.4 kernel, but the problem is still here.
I never had this problem before and it's really problematic as they stay on during ~1 minute only, then the data connection turn off by itself.
Tried to remove SIM card, turn the phone on withtout the SIM card, then rebooting the phone with the SIM card, no effect also.
Any idea on how to fix this?

Data connection won't work

Hello,
I have a problem with my HTC S730. The dataconnection in connmanager is turned off. But I can't get it back on. It works for half a year but now it won't work. So when my dataconnection is off I can't call or sms.
I tryed a hard-reset but without result...
Any suggestions?
I don't understand. You switched off phone at commmanager - maybe. After restart will be GSMpart fix at switchoff.
Do you go to commmanager and switch phone to on. You don't need dataconnections for SMS and call.
Maybe you switched on airplane mode. It isn't possible use GSM on airplane mode.
If you have switchon GSM, you need setup GPRS or dial-up at settings->connection. You will ask yours network operator.
If no,
Maybe you have problems with yours SIM cards, maybe you have problem with GSM operator or maybe you have problem with phone. If don't you repair it, you test to HW restart. BUT YOU WILL LOST ALL DATA !!!
If you turn off the data connection it will stay off until something in the phone prompts for network access. I usually just refresh my weather page and it fires up and is back online.
However since you hardbooted your phone and still have no luck you might be having other issues. Even more so since you cannot make a call or anything since disabling it. Any new software or flashing done to the phone's rom or radio?
Ok ty all!
My phone is back on.
I don't know how but it works.
Although I still have some problems with my network.

[Q] Fixing Wi-fi without reformatting?

Hey, in the last few weeks I've run into a very annoying bug on my phone. Wi-fi turns itself off after about 2 minutes. It doesn't actually "turn itself off" in the phone - and by that I mean that the wifi icon is still there, and I can see the signal strength, but the internet won't work.
In order to fix it, I have to turn the wifi off and then on again.
I've tried using the Wifi Fixer application, but it doesn't help. It can't seem to detect when I lose my internet connection.
I've also troubleshooted it, checking that it occurs on different routers/types of networks.
I'm sure it's a problem with my phone, but I dont really want to reformat my phone until Froyo comes (since I don't want to have to install all my apps twice).
Is there any solution to this? ;z
I'm on stock rom, JF3, with OCLF.
I have the same problem with my phone. My Wi-Fi at home works just fine, but when I go to my brother's house, I seem to occasionally lose internet connection even though it shows that it's still connected to the Wi-Fi. I have stock Bell ROM with OCLF by RyanZA. Oh, and to fix it I simply turn Wi-Fi off, and then on, and it starts working again.
Bump :x
Anyone have a solution?

[Q] Xperia T mobile data traffic..phone keeps restarting

Hello!
I own a Xperia T (4.3)
Currently i've got a big problem
Whenever I activate Mobile Data Traffic (wifi works fine) and enter Chrome for example...my phone shuts down and turns on again and after a few seconds it shuts down again..and again and again...and the only way i can stop this is by removing my SIM Card. Then I can deactivate mobile data traffic, reenter Sim and phone works fine but now after few shut downs..batter dropped from 70 to 40%.
I've done a factory reset..but nothing changed.
Could it be a problem with my SIM Card ?

Mi8 Constantly turning off wifi and turning off mobile data

Hi,
My phone keeps on giving out no service and it also turns off the wifi. Sometimes it can't even find a wifi. Every time it says theres no signal my sim card name changes from 3 (My network) to SIM 1 I hope that has something to do with it. This all started happening when I updated my phone to the latest update (MIUI 10.3.5.0) and since then I can bearly use my phone as its constantly changing internet connections and not working.
Hope you guys know a fix.

Can hot swapping SIM cards break my phone?

After hot swapping sim cards my phone went crazy. Get disconnected from either 4g or wifi and need to restart the phone (sometimes more than once) to get wifi back or to get it to detect thw som card or get a signal. Tried changing the rom and it only got worst. Started restarting all the time. After that i flashed (by flashall.bat) an original miui in case it was a persist issue.... Now it's not restarting as much but still having signal or wifi issues all the time. Did i **** up a piece of hardware or is this a software issue?
