hello devs
i wanted to install xposed installer on htc one m7 . last tme when i did it I stuck in a bootloop and then i had to flash a new rom. so can any one help me to install xposed installer without getting into any trouble.
[*]Download and install this APK - http://loadbalancing.modaco.com/download.php?file=XposedInstaller_2.1.4.apk
[*]In the app do 'Install / Update'
[*]Download this zip file and copy to your internal SD card - http://loadbalancing.modaco.com/download.php?file=xposedinstall-2.1.4.zip (ROMraid)
[*]Install the downloaded zip from your custom recovery
That's it, you're done! To uninstall, use the 'Clean Up' option in the app and then run the uninstall zip from the main Xposed Framework app.
Enjoy!

and what framework version did you flashed? Viper 9 is android SDK 21 and the M7 is using an ARM cpu so you must use the sdk21-arm.zip version.
and btw @masterleron linked you an outdated installer (2.1.4). You need 3.0
Official and up-to-date xposed thread and files here. Remove everything you just installed, then install the 3.0-a4 xpsoed installer and then reboot in recovery and flash the xposed-v80-sdk21-arm.zip framework.

Are sure I wont get into a bootloop again
because i have now flashed the rom 3 times once due a "unfornately playStore has stopped" error.
Twice because of bootloops.

There are always some risks of softbrick/bootloop when modding your phone, its easily recoverable with a simple nandroid backup made before any modification. Learning to mod your phone = sometime making errors = need to reflash. This is the game you agreed to play when you first unlocked your bootloader. The only thing I'm sure is that you were not using the correct installer and possibly not the right framework (you didn't confirmed) and that using the right files should reduce the chances of bootloop

I install like any zip. in recovery: choose the zip file to install. without rebooting install immediately after xboot.zip (x = is where you installed ROM native sd) for example, if the rom is sboot .... flash sboot.zip.

I feel your pain. I had it working at one point but I restored a backup with TWRP and now I have the issue again. I am going to mess with it now and see if I can get it to stick. It will work because I also have a backup (TWRP) in which it does. But on that image, my wifi tether stops when the screen goes black/locks. I WILL figure it out though.

OK. I Got it going again.
Here are ALL the steps I tried in order:
1. Install latest apk
2. Open app and install framework
3. Select install zip manually via recovery
4. Install framework 2.3.1 zip
5. Reboot
6. Didn’t work.
7. Uninstall. This will make an Xposed disabler and give the path
8. Hit ok and it will boot to recovery
9. Click install and locate the Xposed-Disabler-Recvoery.zip. This will uninstall the framework.
10. Uninstall app
11. Reinstall app
12. Open app and install framework via the zip recovery method
13. In recovery, click install
14. Install version 2.1.4 framework
15. Reboot
16. Didn’t work
17. Install framework with recovery-use auto mode
18. WIN!!!!
It was way easier than I was making it. So in short.
1> Install the latest version (stable) 2.6.1 of the app/apk.
2> Open the app after it installs.
3> Click on Framework.
4>Installation Mode should be set to (flash zip
automatically).
5> Click Install/Update.
6> When prompted, click OK to reboot to
recovery.
7> Phone will boot to recovery, install the frame work and
reboot.
8> When the phone reboots, open the Xposed app and the framework
should be good to go.
Let me know.
I'm running OxygenOS. I installed version 2.7 experimental1 and it gives me the error when I go to Frameworks:
"Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 21 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a).
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de.robv/android.xposed.installer/cache/app_process"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found"
A few users told that installing the alpha might be a solution. Now, to install alpha for Lollipop, do I have to delete the existing installer app first? If so, is uninstalling the app just like all other apps going to work? If not, how do I do it? Or should I just go into recovery and just flash the zip once again and then install the alpha apk?
I highly recommend you to flash it over recovery. Such emperimental builds tend to have a lots of bugs, so with a proper and clean install you'll save some hard time.

So just to be clear here, I shouldn't remove the app with the version 2.7? Or should I remove the app first and then go to recovery and flash the zip file, and then install the 3.0.2 apk?
The latter. Remove the app then proceed with flashing.
How do I flash xposed? Libdivm.so not found
I am a newbie. I have rooted galaxy s5. Used to have working xposed module but not anymore after update to Android 5.0. I get the error message about libdivm.so not being found. How do I install xposed via flash method?

Install/upgrade Magisk as prompted in the application
Reboot and you're done!!"
After installing the Magisk Manager - when i go to "install" selection and after downloading Magisk v10.2 it says:

Zip file placed in ................
Flash it in recovery manually.

Did anyone of you got Viper4Android working on the unified builds of LineageOS for the 3T? And if so could you explain how? I tried the flashable zips of Viper4Arise but the driver was unsupported everytime and when i installed the Viper apk, installed the drivers and rebooted the app asked me again to install drivers and so on.
Thanks in advance

Install Magisk as your root solution, not SuperSU and install the module for Viper from the "downloads" section of the Magisk Manager (you will need to update Magisk Manager from play store). Reboot. After reboot, get a root file explorer and follow the instructions here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/themes/v4a-fix-processing-using-magisk-t3572819
Reboot Again. Then download the official Viper APK from: http://www.mediafire.com/file/xonl4jha2e4vez1/ViPER4Android_FX_v2505.zip (official link is from http://vipersaudio.com/blog/?page_id=48) and install it.
Done
I would clean install your rom to get rid of any existing system installs of Viper4arise or similar though. Dirty Flash should also work. @mittey68
