Somebody, Anybody...please help!
I've been flashing ROM's for months now trying to get the VoLTE option to show in settings with no success. I reverted to stock DOK2 via Odin hoping that the option would show in Settings > Call but no luck. After no success with DOK2 stock I went back to TEKXvirgin N4 Uv0 Gift Edition (N910T3UVU1DOG1). I don't know what I'm missing.

I recently flashed a firmware made from romkitchen.org (JPY modem) and I can't seem to get a signal.
I have gone into [Wireless and network] and selected my AP name and even made a new one according to o2.
My sim works fine in an old phone and I've made sure I can call etc.
I can get my IMEI number by dialing *#06#
Is there anything else I can do? And what do I need to repartition in Odin if I want to install a stock firmware that I know works, installing the rom from romkitchen.org?
Thanks,
North101
Try the following.
1. Go to your phone and dial *#*#4636#*#*
2. Go to phone and menu
3. There is an option to enable the phone/radio
4. click that
5. Exist back to home screen
6. Go to setting and set your phone to 2G only
7. Reboot your phone
8. Take off the 2G from your settings
If this doesn't work then do a little more searching. I had a similar problem the other day.
Try using the CSC in the kitchen for CPW carphone warehouse .

Thanks for the replies but your suggestion didn't work.
If I was to flash another firmware using Odin, would I need to repartition? For some reason since I flashed the RomKitchen rom I can't reliably get into download or recovery mode manually and I'm a bit hesitant to use Odin.
I rooted my phone yesterday and when my phone wouldn't boot up the rom I installed, I tried to reinstall the backup I had.
After that didn't work, I used odin to flash a stock ROMI downloaded on the internet and it is working now.
The stock rom I downloaded upgraded my phone from android 2.3.3 to 2.3.6. I don't know if that would make a difference.
So after this was all done, I realised I can't connect to 3g or any mobile network.
Why is this?
How can I fix it?
I live in Ireland so maybe it has something to do with the Stock ROM being from a different country?
Sorry, I am a noob at this kind of thing.
If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Hey,
The CSC (what country the rom is from) doesn't matter, I'm running a stock 2.3.6 rom from the UK even though I'm in New Zealand
Try first going into
Settings -> About Phone -> Status.
Scroll until you see IMEI. If this is odd (maybe XXs in the number code or its different), then that explains why your phone can't connect to any network. Maybe from a bad flash- there a tutorials on these forums on how to recover your IMEI.
Also in this menu check your signal status- whether it says "Connected" or "Disconnected" in Network Status or whatever.
Alternatively, go to
Settings -> Wireless and Network -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names.
In here are your APNs- the network "gateways" that your phone connects to for 3G and so on. Make sure these are configured correctly- if not, your provider's website should tell you how to set these up nicely.
Hope I helped

Hello, I have this SGH-T879, It had the stock 4.0.4 firmware, but I flashed the SGH-T989_UVLE1_radio to unlock it via service menu, but now I don't have signal, right now i'm running CM10.1 and tried to flash multiple modems but still don't get GSM signal, i have Tmo_SGH-T879-UVLG3_radio installed right now but still it's not working, it says NO SERVICE. - TELCEL (my carrier), even it shows me the Voicemail icon, but what I need to do? I'm searching everywhere the stock odin file for going back completely to stock, but all the links are expired, help me please. And I don't know if KIES is usefull but I don't know if its possible to use it in this case.
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Long story short, a friend gave me an I9305, however, I can't connect to a supported 3G network.
He had toyed around with the device (rooted, installed CM11), then reverted unrooted and reverted to stock firmware. When I got the device, I rooted it with Framaroot, flashed CWM 6.0.4.5, then flashed CM11 and Boeffla kernel. My SIM card was quite old and my carrier told that it doesn't support 3G, so I filed up for a new one. Ok, I got it, however..I'm yet again stuck on EDGE!!!
Tried reflashing CM11, CWM, flashed almost every radio baseband modem from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010116 to no avail. My IMEI is intact, as well as my Serial Number.
Yes, I read all threads, I tried going to Settings>Wireless&networks> More > Mobile Netwroks >Preffered Network type and checked all options. When I select 3G only, the icon goes to "H", but i can't access the web. After 10-20 seconds, the H icon dissappears and I'm forced to reboot the phone to regain my EDGE data.
At the moment, I'm running the latest Omni ROM nightly. My operator supports all 3G and LTE bands, and I got the correct APNs.
Should I flash a stock ROM and check if this does the job?
I'll greatly appreciate any help, because I'm stuck.

I can't check my csc code - whenever i type a code in the dialer I get "connection timed out or invalid mmi code". The only ones that work are *#06# and *#*#4636#*#*...
Ok, so I'm running a stock 4.3 rom and STILL have no 3G....tried everything.
Anyone, help?
Maybe if you can try to downgrade to a firmware 4.1.2 via Mobile Odin and then try and access the service mode menu. From there you may be able to enable the 3G/LTE DRX (Radio) which seems to remain a permanent change in the phone once you upgrade again to 4.3.
was messing around with the advance signal status and messed up my verizon Droid Turbo. I went into additional info > phone information and selected the" select radio radio" option from the top right option menu. Selected on cellular and all network connectivity vanished. I tried to fix the issue with messing about with other settings on the app, nothing seemed to work. Did a factory reset and its still not showing any networks on global mode or any other mode. Can anyone please help me out with this? The phone isn't rooted so i don't know an app could mess things up this badly
What are some things you messed with? Was it just changing the CDMA and lte setting?

happens to me too and was the only solution
u must flash the radio from Droid turbo
if doesn t work flash the all firmware
can't flash any firmware on this as its not rooted nor is there a bootloader unlock for the droid turbo as of yet. Only thing i did was go additional info > Phone information > select radio band > Cellular
Could not rever back to original settings after that. I have tried a lot of other apps as well, changed from global to lte/wcdma, gsm modes too.
Maybe the app developer can help you, although it says that is not meant to be used on non rooted phones.

Idk of this will work because it's the older firmware for this phone but try flashing it then updating back to the current firmware. Worth a shot!
