you say is better,
Galaxy Nexus
Galaxy S2, or
Galaxy Note??
Is this even a contest? Galaxy Note is the best in my opinion. Also, you are asking on the Note forum. Would you expect any other answer other than the Note here?

i am asking on the Note forum because i know most of the users here would have owned or at least have had their hands on all the three devices here because Note is the most premium device out of these three. so i guess that makes sense. doesn't it?

come on man .... :\
lets say
NOTE then Nexus and at last S2
i have the note it lacks in the point of comfortable usage because not even bigfoot can use it onehanded XD but lets say compare this list:
Note Nexus S2
1.4 DC 1.2 DC 1 ? No Match
8MP 5MP 8MP
16GB 16GB 16GB
GB 2.3.X ICS 4.X GB 2.3.X
5.3" 4.65" 4.5"
2500mh 1500mh Forgot actually
till now i would say note beats lacking of ICS but hey a few months and it upgraded to it officialy so who cares for more density at the cost of screen size honestly i cant look at smaller screens iam addicted hehe

Note of course!
The main reason for me is the screen!!
Obviously Galaxy Note is better just for its large screen and powerful Exynos 4210 CPU.

Valid question. Most users on here have used either one or both of the other phones listed. subjectively, I would say s2 is smoother, but for overall functonality, the note is best. Objectively - there has been lots more interest and 'i wish i had.../that's some screen/that's wkd!' comments from other phone users when I am using my note than when using my s2

Completely agree. Add iPhone 4S and go over to the IphoneBlog or whatever they call it, and you'll see the exact OPPOSITE results than here. It's very subjective. You should have published it in the general section of XDA.
I've used all phones and the note is far best for me there's no competition at all. Don't know why you would post this here should of been posted at the main of xda general section

If you hold up the phone turned off under bright light you'll see small blue dots in a grid pattern. Very cool.

is the digitizer, the thing that let touch a smartphone not dumb
you can see it on every phone. Maybe in the n4 is more visible because lg used a special tecnology to blend it with the glass
Yea. It's totally right for Nexus to have these. For example, in SE Xperia Neo V there are barely noticeable lines running across the screen. You can sometimes see them when pixels are white. Now that's really annoying sometimes; as you can see, there's completely nothing to worry about

I didn't know being excited about something makes you a fanboy, right.
also, says the person who has a nexus 4 as well..
I figured that it had some rhyme or reason. It's definitely more noticeable, considering I've gone through a captivate and an HTC one xl without notice. As for the fanboy comment I really don't care. Trolls are trolls and hey. He's right. Who cares if I'm a fanboy dammit. I got my phone on the seventeenth, a day before my birthday, while the other poor souls wait.
Thanks for the info!

This pattern (as we agreed on is the digitizer) is very visible on my device even if the screen is turned on (!) It is really annoying on bright background colours. Anyone else suffering from this?
I know that
1.amoleds have best blacks but a blueish white :s
2. Super LCD 2 has very high brightness and don't know about the black colour though
3. Super LCD 3 I think can't compete with s-LCD 2 in termes of colours and brightness too
Am I right ?
What about battery life between amoled and super LCD 2?
What does oversaturated colourd mean? Is that bad?

Sometimes I go back a few days on the general forum to make sure that questions that deserve to be answered are in fact granted an answer. However this is not one of them. I'm simply replying to this topic to ensure that you and others know that this has nothing to do with the incredible s general board.
Google.
Mother****ing Google. It's the god damn ask Jeeves of the future. You ask it what ever dumb question comes into your head that you can't think of using common sense or higher learning skills that you've achieved and it returns with a yahoo answer's result that best matches your question.

I don't know why you are very nice to mee -.-
You could have already answered my question if you bothered to open this thread in stead of your useless reply.
Anyways I already said that to another user who answered once in a thread to be mean like you guys in stead of just replying with some useful info.
Do you actually think that I haven't googled this before making this thread ?
Well think again, because I actually have.
Anyways, I searched for the answer over and over but I wasn't quite convinced with what I found. So, I decided to ask here in general section. And fyi it's called general for some reason !! Do you know why ???
I am sure you are smart enough to figure it out yourself.

So i found a way to record the screen without pointing a camera at it if you are interested in that. I made a video on youtube. I think my title sucks or no one on youtube cares but here's the video. Because I can't post links yet i have to give you a title to my video to search for.
Record your nexus 7 display(No camera)
For some reason it's important to me for others to know this. I guess that's why i made a tutorial. Lol.

I've had my n7 about 5 days and the other night I was very very drunk, flashed smoothrom, too drunk to remember to clear cache and dalvik, got a boot animation freeze, went back, remembered to clear caches, and got it all working. That was after drinking a whole bottle of vodka myself. Bad idea doing things like that at times like that

Lmao. Yeah I was thinking they were gonna think I was referring to pointing a camera at the screen for some odd reason but sometimes I think too hard. Not sure why. I think I was also trying to keep the title short.
So while the mirroring potential is awesome, I have to ask, what's the advantage of this over just screen recording directly on the N7?

Are you talking about using screencast to record the Nexus 7. Because screencast doesn't work on the N7.
Tried shot control but it's very buggy at iso 100. So just turn on HDR and hold your device against something stable. Cheers
Thank you... .

Definitely pleasing to eye. But they lack the crisp feel of Lumia. I Don't know I just can't stand Windows platform and Nokia for their utmost stupidity for sticking with WP... But Nokia's PV camera and build quality ... aaaah just EPIC. I know people will disagree here, calling Nokia Phones bulky but how can we forget owning Nokia phones all those years and boy they were sturdy.
Nokia please.. pleaseeee come to the brighter side of mobile arena

Oops sorry for mentioning PV techno.. I was actually referring to Lumia 802. I recently saw its live low-light photos and boy that freaking 8 MP shooter stole the show from rest of us (android and iphone crowd...while at an event). I was shocked to witness THAT level of clarity in Lumia LL shots.
Pretty awesome, how'd you get to change the ISO Settings though?

With stock you can't. I referred to an app called shot control which allows you to, but when you set it to iso100 it usually freezes. About the lumia comparison, I think that these shots definitely are on par with the 920, which is pretty soft by itself. DDon't forget that XDA shrinks images, originals are much sharper. And about Nokia build quality, the lumias are definitely good, but traditionally Nokia had many flops: my 6120, N95, N85 and N97 all crumbled pretty fast.
I want a lumia 925. 920 but way thinner/lighter/better looking
