yes, first time folder custom (renamed to dload, local update, reboot, 100% success), second time folder dload (local update, reboot, 100% success)
Phone seems working without problems, it's strange; Someone can upload the update package (329MB) when downloaded so i can try another local update and (maybe) reset the updater?

Transition Firmware Details
Device: Huawei P8
Model: GRA-UL00
Android: v6.0 Marshmallow > v5.0 Lollipop
Build: GRA-UL00C900B300
Status: Official
Type: Transition Package
Release Date: 8.02.2016
Region: Europe
Country: Russia
File Name: RollbackMiddlePackage_GRA-UL00C900B300_Android 6.0 to Android 5.1.zip
http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=71823&version=254649&siteCode=ru
How to Downgrade
This downgrade package is only intended for the European GRA-UL00 variant of Huawei P8.
Unzip the transition package on your computer.
Transfer the dload folder to the external microSD card.
Safely disconnect the USB cable from the PC.
Dial *#*#2846579#*#* to open Project Menu.
In the menu, go to Software Upgrade > SDCard Upgrade > ‘OK’.
Once the device reboots after installing the transition firmware, make sure the Build number says ‘GRA-UL00C900B300’.
Now you can install whatever Lollipop build (for the UL00 variant, of course) you want – like B132 using the exact same procedure.
I've gone through the process, but the update doesn't seem to actually apply. Once the update succeeds, and the phone reboots, the version doesn't change. Its just the same as before the downgrade.
How about UL10 ? Will it work?
Will it work on MIDDLE EASTERN OR PAKISTAN MODEL?
Hi...
install failed for my P8 gra ul00... when i install te rollback .app
need help pls
I had issues after I semi bricked my NZ P9+ phone.
I used DC Phoenix to "unbrick" it using method two of DC Phoenix tutorial. I then used DCU to change the vendor and country.
Im now running Android M C432B181, at least that's what the phones status is reporting.
However if i use DCU to read the phones info it states its running C900 kernel. See below.
Im trying to install VIE-L09C432B360 via SD and ive attempted the OTA proxy method. I get a message "PT Failed. Are you sure you want to continue?" What does this mean?
Also if i say yes to continuing It reboots and starts the install however it gets to about 37% then fails.
Any ideas ????

Also to note Themes wouldn't work. I've started again.
I've used fastboot to flash the EU OEM partition. Copied the oeminfo file to the same path as fastboot and I entered the command "Flashboot oeminfo oeminfo". I used DC Unlocked to set the vender to hw and the country to eu.
I've then used DC Phenix to flash the factory firmware as in the tutorial.
I've then used the SD Card method to install C432b103
Once installed checked updates on the phone.
Installed b161 and b170 using the factory OTA method.
Themes work now but it's not finding any updates since b170.
Using *#*#2846579#*#* I see that it reports that it is still using C900 kernel.
Hello all,
Recently purchased a P9 Plus with this firmware loaded (VIE-AL10C00B390). Having trouble with all the preloaded chinese settings and not being able to use google apps. Also, unable to find a global firmware for VIE-AL10. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hello ,I never got a update for my Huawei mate s and I want to update it how I do it my my version is CRR-L09C576B125 from israel?
I was in the same situation
1 - Download the appropriate firmware for your device (same region (C576) and model type (L09)
2 - It'll contain two major files, UPDATE.APP and META-INF folder
3 - Create a folder called dload on the sdcard or internal storage
4 - Open the EMUI updater app and update from local storage, should begin automatically. If that doesn't work try rebooting into the recovery and it will update the device
Where I download my firmware?
No region-specific firmware? I also encountered something similar and installed European (C432) firmware from this thread, it is version B390 with EMUI 4.0.3, April 2017

Yeah those are the same firmware with different carrier regions.
I'm on the same firmware as you. My advice is don't bother to upgrade, but that's just personal choice.
I'm no expert, but my understanding is once you upgrade to the firmware listed above you cannot go back.
If your need to upgrade with the option of going back you need this:
Version: N960FXXU4DSLB/N960FOXM4DSLA/N960FXXU4DSLA
This is the version 10 my Note 9 keeps trying to push my way.
In no expert, so happy to stand corrected.

if the intent is to be able to odin back to previous versions, then yes, the newest update in 5 where as they and you are on 4. But if you read the news latley, there's nothing but hacks and vulnerabilities being discovered daily. so you can choose to have the most secure device possible (update to latest version) or you can risk it and run older firmware with the intent of being able to go back to even more insecure F/W versions. Would highly suggest going to the lastest firmware if you log into anything sensitive iwth your credit card, such as amazon, ebay, banking apps, ect.
