Hi there, guys. Long story short, my boss phone got an update message (Thats what she said) and for some reason she stopped the process. Now the phone is stuck at the M bluee screen.
I've tried going to the bootloader and then to the recovery option, but i have no luck getting the options for the recovery, like wipe or factory reset. The problem is that the Android (Andi) lying back with the No command words is not static but blinking, it keeps blinking, appear one second, goes out for 5 seconds, then blinks again. I've tried VOLDOWN and UP pressed and then hit the power, no luck. Power pressed and hit volup, no luck, etc.
Any tips about how can bring it back to life?

I used CM10.1 for a while on my I9000B and decided to go back to stock gingerbread firmware so I installed a full stock rom with odin.
Now I want to go back to CM10.1 again but this darn thing will not boot properly. No matter what I do the phone takes me to CWM Recovery right after powering it up.
This did not happen before when I first upgraded to CM10.1 a few months ago. What could possibly be going wrong now? Any ideas?
Maybe try older stock.

You can get into Download Mode (press phone off Vol Down + Home + Power button)?
If you can, use odin to return to stock, root, and install your favorite Rom
if you can not try this:
1. Power down phone with no USB cable connected.
2. Once you see "good bye" connect USB cable.
3. Wait till battery indicator is visible, and you can see the current charge in green.
4. Hold vol + and vol-.
5. Press power until screen goes black, then let go of power only.
6. Should see the yellow digger.
or this ....
1) turn off the phone and plug the USB into the computer
2) Hold down both volume UP and DOWN {} + plug USB into phone
The phone will then turn itself on and boot to download mode
Thanks but both download and recovery are working fine. The problem is I cannot install anything besides gingerbread roms anymore otherwise they will boot only in recovery

Thank you so much!
Good evening gentlemen xda-developers
I appeal to you for my "HTC ONE" does not turn on, it stays stuck on the HTC logo.
Had installed a modified version of android 4.2.2 but did not like and tried to turn back to a backup that I made with TWRP.
And now my ONE will not start: (what I can do? I can not turn it off!! :crying::crying::crying::crying:
PS: I do not speak English so we resorted to google to translate, I hope I have explained in the best way possible.
Did you try booting to recovery? I mean Press the Vol Down + Power button combination.

If the phone will not turn off, try holding power and volume down with a bright light pointed at the sensor on the top left. (Yes, that translated right, shine a light at it.)
Then hold volume down and power again, let us know if you can get into the boot loader and recovery.

To use odin you need to enter in "Download mode", and the correct combination is POWER + VOLUME DOWN + HOME
Follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034145
If you are going to use odin to flash stock firmware you need version 3.48. I also tried the one you have and it definitely doesn't work.
Recovery mode is POWER + HOME (to install cwm/roms)
Download mode is POWER + VOLUME DOWN + HOME (to use odin)

try a usb jig
I've been having some battery drain issues on my phone (EVA-L09) after upgrading to Nougat 7.0 (EMUI 5.0) so I decided to give the partition cache wipe a go. But I hit the wall the moment I fired the recovery mode (Power+Volume Up). There's no option for the wipe in the menu, only the following three options:
Download latest version and recovery
Reboot
Shutdown
I haven't done any modifications to the phone and there's no system updates available either, so I'm a bit puzzled here what gives. I've tried googling for an answer, but all I seem to find are solutions how to actually access the boot menu and how the option should be there.
im having same issue, anyone can help??
same here anyone ?
There are two different stock Recoveries:
1) EMUI Recovery (Recovery, Ramdisk-Recovery)
- Phone powered off
- No USB (Type-C cable) attached
- Press and keep pressing Vol+
- Boot (by Pow button)
2) eRecovery (Recovery2, Ramdisk-Recovery2)
- Phone powered off
- Phone charging (via USB Type-C)
- Press and keep pressing Vol+
- Boot (by Pow button)
Try both ways if you don't see Wipe Cache option.
Btw, pnly in eRecovery (2), there is option:
Download and install latest firmware
Disconnect your charger
Isso mesmo a opção só aparece se estiver desconectado por USB . Como disse o amigo acima .
Wow! thanks. This whole time I've been doing it with my phone on the charger
