Did you get this working on your 6P? How does it look? I noticed those themes are for 1980x1080 while our phone resolution is 2560x1440. I just skimmed the OP though, didn't read to the thread. I'll check it out later when I get home.
Edit: I tried it and it works fine. I read in the thread that TWRP scales up images automatically. It looks fine.
Note to encrypted users: When you boot to recovery, the splash will be stock and TWRP will be stock theme until you enter your pin/password/pattern. After that it will automatically load the theme after a few seconds.

clockworkmod version 5.8.4.3 touch for the incredible
Please post any comments/questions/concerns/etc
Download (img): http://tinyw.in/NVqw You must flash this one using fastboot.
Download (PB31IMG.zip): http://tinyw.in/YPDY You must rename this to PB31IMG.zip and put it on the root of your sdcard, then boot into hboot and select yes to flash it.
This was built using this koush's cwm auto-builder: http://builder.clockworkmod.com
Used a freshly built recovery.img from my cm9 nightly tree and a slightly modified recovery.fstab to be compatible with the newer cwm
Yeah the one that we had, dev seems to have moved on.
Its only a fakeflash anyway, is this the same or fully functional touch recovery? I've scratched my head wondering why we haven't had a touch recovery yet.
Before I do something stupid, fastboot? Do I flash this in CWM or do it through RM? If flashed I'm assuming it sticks and stays than be temporary?
Edit: Never mind, is there a possibility of it being a flash form through CWM or RM?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he means to go through HBOOT (power down, then volume-down + power). I haven't installed this, but that would be my guess.

yep
i'll look into getting a zip made up for it
posted a PB31IMG.zip
I installed this, did a nandroid, wiped my fresh ROM install from three hours ago, confirmed phone did not boot (wipe works). Re-installed ROM, rebooted phone (only let it get to boot animation, but install seems to work). Rebooted to recovery, re-wiped, then restored nandroid. Booted back up, all is well.
Thanks man!
EDIT: Also, forgot to mention that the format functions under mounts work, as well as USB mounting. I found nothing at all non-functional in this recovery.

nice!
Okay I did a nandroid aswell and then did the update, restarted phone and did phone+volDown to hboot. Skipped the update to get into recovery, I had an error at the bottom about USB mount. I ignored it and wiped and restored.
Everything went perfect, very good touch recovery! Thanks Invisiblek.

Flashed okay and appeared to be fully functional, but doing a standard flashover of the latest CM9 nightly produced some... wonky results. All of my system and app data was randomly wiped, although all of my apps, strangely enough, are still there (I didn't wipe anything other than cache and dalvik) and my home button doesn't seem to work. Also, flashing a ROM and Gapps package worked fine, but trying to flash a kernel and the Ext4 mod did not work (said installation aborted with error 0 and nothing more specific).
Downloaded, renamed to pb31img.zip and put it on root of card. I get the error "wrong zipped image". Am I missing something?
EDIT: Nevermind, redownloaded and all is good now. Thanks invisiblek!
Thanks for this! Installed fine from HBOOT. I have used it several times this morning and have had no issues at all. The large spaced out text will take some getting used to but it seems fully functional. Only gripe I have so far is that I feel like I could navigate the menus more quickly on the non-touch version... scrolling in this takes several swipes on longer menus.
Much appreciated though, gonna keep using it!
Edit: Spoke too soon..

Yeah, I tried flashing kernel related mods and get the same thing. Seems only kernel related. I tried a battery mod and a no go. Get status 0.
But I could install Audio mods and flash and wipe roms though.
I'm sure Invisiblek plans on updating it.

I recently restored a backup made with TWRP and now my boot menu no longer loads. I attempted to reinstall moboot via ACMEInstaller 3 which appeared to complete successfully however when my tablet boots it just defaults to cyanogen mod which loads up fine however supersu binaries are messed up so I can't give any of my apps root access when needed. Any ideas how to correct the issue?

Read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426244
You might have to go this route. Read the whole thing. If you're having trouble with novaterm, there's a work around on page 12.
Some members here have had trouble with TWRP (various versions), myself included. Use cwm 6.x.x, look in development, it's one of the threads. I'm pretty sure it's at goo.im/devs/jcsullins. Use the 12/15 one.
Good luck.

That's what I was looking for. Thanks!... Got it back working.
hey guys! newbie here!
Flashed TWRP 3.0.2 and installed SuperSU 2.67 with 0 problems.I wanted to try out something different than the MIUI as it is a bit too iphone looking imo.
My dream would be something that runs ASOP or close, like cyanogenmod, but with the MIUI camera app as that thing is amazing!
Soooo i went from MIUI7 to Cyanogenmod 13
But kept getting various bugs (camera not working/video not working/random crashes etc.)
Tried some other rom called Resurrected Remix
But this one would only show the actual screen when i pressed the lock button. Showed the screen for like 0.2 sec before going out. When turning on the display, it just showed white. Pure white.
Now, i just want to go back to MIUI for now and see what happens with development for the MI5 in a couple of months.
But, when i boot into recovery and flash the latest stock global rom, downloaded from miui forum and then try to boot, it just stays in a boot loop.
Tried reflashing/redownloading a couple of times but makes 0 difference.
So now i got a very beautiful TWRP running phone.. Only running TWRP..
If ANYONE has got some good ideas for me to try, please let me know!

Hey there,
I assume your Bootloader is unlocked, since you flashed a few different ROMs. If so, you can download the official Xiaomi flash tool (Miflash) and flash the official fastboot ROM (which is different from a recovery ROM).
Just follow the instructions in this page: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html and you'll be good to go in no time.
After flashing, check that everything works then if you want to root just reboot into fastboot mode, boot TWRP (fastboot boot recovery.img), flash SuperSU.
Cheers!
Hey again! so i tried flashing via Miflash tool, but now it is just stuck in a bootloop.. It has been booting for 30 min+ after the flash was sucessfully completed..
i have tried to do a "standard" flash with the flash_all_but_storage.bat and also the flash_all.bat, but neither lets me boot into MIUI
I had the same bootloop problem after using Miflash.
I sorted it out by putting the uncompressed ROM at the root of /c:.
I also used the latest beta of Miflash.
I hope it helps...
am using latest beta of Miflash.. Connected to PC via USB 2.0
Uncompressed root is at root of C drive...
Hello,
I was running a custom ROM (Darthstalker) for a while on my N920T. The ROM used the Aroma installer which allowed me to customize a lot of different things. One of them being the image that shows the very instant you turn the phone on. I wanted to go back to stock, so I grabbed the stock image and flashed through Odin as I have done many times with my Samsung phones. Everything went perfectly and all went back to stock. Except for that image which comes on when I first start the phone... I have tried the correct stock ROM along with the proper .PIT file. I cannot get this image back to stock! I am not sure if the custom ROM I previously was on had an option to select the stock image from the Aroma installer.
I was wondering if anyone out there might know of a way to get this initial boot image back to stock without having to re-root the phone/TWRP and going through the custom installer? (I have posted in the Darkstalker thread to even see if that is an option in the Aroma installer)
Thank you for any advice or help in advance.
Use arters custom bootlogo zip, that should fix it

Thank you for the link to that thread. I did find a post on there that allowed me to change the image using Odin created by Dr. Ketan here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64030217&postcount=80 without having to go through the entire process of rooting and everything. Although the image that it flashed is another custom image made by @dr.ketan :/. Still going to try a little bit longer in hopes for a way through Odin. Your post definitely helped me out though. Thank you again
No problem
Do it with your own risk...
Cyanogen boot animation for mate 7..
Flash it through twrp recovery and all done.
I used cyanogen boot animation it's not created by me I just make a flashable zip hit thanks button if you like...
Screen shot...
Someone have to try it it's really awesome..
Tried it on mm rom, got nothing. It's pretty heavily moded though. Iirc there is something on build.props on animations
Have to be very careful with EMUI phones.
I think stock BA is ok anyway. I'm leaving it as is. I'm not embarrassed that it's a Huawei, in fact if I had the spare money I would update to a Mate 9 in a heartbeat ??
Only flash with twrp recovery it's tested in stock and custom rom work perfect..
