Hi!
I was surprised to see a kernel Panic Mode on my S5 Mini tonight for the first time.
I really don't know what's with this kernel Panic Mode and why my phone got it.
My S5 Mini it's a G800F model with 5.1.1 Android, G800FXXUBOK& baseband, 3.4.39-5886751 kernel.
Can anyone explain me what is this Kernel Panic Mode and if there is any solution to fix it in case it occurs again.
Mention : the phone was plugged into the wall charger so my question is : can this be a probable cause? (the phone was not warm so I don't think overheating is the cause) ... also I have a non samsung charger and this might also be a probable cause ... I'll try tomorrow with an original charger to see if the problem reappears.
Thanks in advance for any answer.
In the next days I'll be back with more details about this.
i think its the charger, are you using the original samsung charger?

HI Guys,
Im a Noob in the whole android rooting and modding business. Had my friends do it for me. However, here is a new problem that i would like some expert advise on. Above mentioned are my phone details. And here is the problem description:
When i use the normal wall socket charger for my phone, it shows the charging Icon, shows the status as AC charging, but the charge percentage does not increase at all. If it were 33%, it would go lower but won't climb a single percent. The battery also does not feel warmer(which does in usual circumstances during a phone charge).
Here is the funny bit, the moment I plugin the USB data cable and charge via my laptop it works.
USB debug Mode is off.
Kindly advise!
Is it the original cable ???? have you tryed another one.
I had many issue with cable not from SE when i had an x10
Does that not indicate that the wall charger is the probable culprit .

Thanks for your reply.
The same wall charger works fine on other phones, other galaxy S's, Micromax Android, Moto Rockers.

In that case i suggest a service centre takes a look at it .

Agree with above.
Sounds like there is a hardware problem, whether the charger isn't providing enough power to the phone or something like that, it doesn't sound like something that would be caused by software.
I shall try the service center. thanks guys.
Hi.. my sgs won't boot even after flashing it. stuck at the samsung logo. what happened before this is, the battery was really drained and i plug it to the charger and after an hour or so it says that "Remove charger battery temperature too high" i think .. and then suddenly went off. when i'm trying to turn the phone on .. just stuck at the samsung logo and i cant charge it anymore.
i tried pulling out the battery for hours but still the same. i can go to the download and recovery mode and tried flashing a stock rom but the problem is still the same.
is this a hardware problem?
hope you could me with this.
sorry for my poor english ..
Hi , that sounds like a hardware issue....you could try swapping the battery first to see if that solves your issue , if not you will have to contact samsung support , they should replace your device under guarantee as over heating battery is dangerous .
i already tried swappping the battery but still the same problem .. the phone is not under warranty anymore. would it still be ok to send it to samsung?
you can send to samsung but be aware that they will charge to assess what is wrong with the phone if you opt to not repair.
Try an other Akku... Maybe it will help?
*sigh*
well, i guess i don't have a choice but to send it to samsung T.T
hopefully they wouldn't charge me that much.
thanks anyway for answering my question guys
Hi, I have Samsung Galaxy s GT-I9000 for a while now on a Slim 3.1.0 official rom. I turned my phone off so I could charge it, but when connected to charger it would not charge, so I tried to charge it throu usb on my PC, but nothing happened. Then tried to turn it on to see if maybe it charged a bit, but the phone just enters boot loop ( galaxy screen and semaphore kernel screen ) and if it is connected to charger it just ads battery screen to loop. I can't find similiar problem on forum, so any help will be appreciated, thanks!
hi guys, straight to the point i want to ask something
my phone is Samsung Galaxy Note N7000, my old battery is damaged, so i decided to buy a new n700 battery in samsung outlet.
when i plugged this new battery, my phone won't start, or charge. can you help me guys? i searched similar problems in google or in this forum, but all the problem i founded, it's because wrong flashing or custom ROM installation. but i did not flashing or install custom ROM.
When my old battery condition get worst, i decided to turn my device off, because my back case can't close properly (my old battery is getting fat).
about 3-4 days later i decided to buy a new battery, and turn my device on, it's nothing happened.
can you help me guys? i really need the solution
*sorry for my bad english
Hello,
Have you already tried to plug the old battery and start the phone?
Is there a battery charging animation with phone turned off when you plug the cable to AC power? (both old and new battery)
If you know someone with a N7000, can you borrow the battery to try to turn on your phone?
We have to pinpoint whether the issue is in the battery, in the phone memory, or else...
I do not even have my S4 mini for two weeks, and I've allready problems with bugs
The problem is that sometimes (tonight it happened the second time), when my phone charges overnight (~7-8 hrs.), at the morning the LED lights green, and the phone does not respond to anything. I've tried to press every button, the emergency power off combination, wait for 10 mins... but the LED is still green and nothing happens.
After taking out the battery it works again.
Only thing I did was taking out the Battery in order to be able to take out my SD-Card and copying some music to it.
Is anybody else facing this issue too?
PS: I haven't installed the latest firmware update, since I always wait 1-2 weeks before I install it
Lets check a few things first:
1. It's the S5 mini forum, so I assume you have one and not S4 mini;
2. Are the battery, charger and USB cable originals? If not, try different one, Samsung preferably;
3. Did you try removing the SD and/or SIMs for charging?
I would update the firmware as it may fix the bug that may cause the problem, if system related. To make sure it's not hardware, back up your days and do a factory reset, and if you are not on stock firmware then revert to stock first.

1. Yes, I do have a S5 mini now, my old S4 mini has died (hardware)
2. I mostly use the orginal charger or the one of my S4 mini. But yesterday, when it happened again, I'm 100% sure that I used the S5 mini charger
3. I will try this tonight
As I found out after my first post, this does not only happen during loading, but also when just having the screen off in your bag.
Upgraded Firmware yesterday, my brother plugged it in (I don't know which charger he used), and BOOM it happened AGAIN. Just like one day before I took out the battery, this time to copy maps to my extSDCard. And later, when sitting in the sun, it happened again, the battery was warm but not hot (I have an App that calles my at 41°C, but it seems like this has not been reached and the phone also didn't powered off when it had 44°C)
I will try to charce without SIM and SD-Card today, even if I don't think that it'll change anything.
PS: The emergency power off seems to work, I probably just waited not long enough
