Random Reboots - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hi guys, I really need the power of the internet now. My googling powers have let me down, and now there's only you guys left to help me!!
I got a Lg g3, and i've enjoyed it for a while. I have experiemented a little with it (rooting and installing roms) and it's about 2 years old i think.
And now, the wierdest problem that I really can't understand, i'll try to explain as good as i can!
It all started a couple of days ago, my phone just rebooted as soon as I started up Snapchat. After a day, this reboot appeared more frequently, and yesterday I gave up. The thing is, as long as it's charging, it works fine, all of the programs. But when I woke up this morning, it's completely ruined.... i see the LG startup screen, and then the lock screen. As soon as i touch the screen, it restarts again!
I've tried factory reset and wiping data and stuff.... If any more information is required, i'll provide it as soon as possible!
I believe in you guys, help me out!

xperia screen stopped working

hey
i have been using my xperia for 7 months now, but 2 days ago my screen just stopped working. the phone still works, only the screen doesn't display anything. i know its working because my alarm still goes off. and it vibrates when i start it up. i tried soft reseting, hard reset, update to a different custom rom. so im kinda stuck here, hehe.
any help?
thnx
Hi.
Realise this is quite an old thread but, incase you haven't found a fix; this has happened to my X1 twice now. The first time, I sent it off repair but forgot to put the ROM back to the factory one so they told me it wasn't covered. Anyway, I got it back and to my delight...it just worked!
In summary, the fix for me has been to leave the battery out the phone for a long time. On the second occasion it was about a week before it started working again but it did work. Hope you got yours sorted.

[Q] Serious nexus one problem

Hi all
I got a serious problem, my nexus one is some times behaving weird, it randomly reboots, vibrates makes some weird multi-vibrations or gets stuck vibrating, the phone is extremely slow, so slow that all animations are like a photo show, the boot process and animation is the same, it is using about 3-4 minutes to boot, on top of that the internal clock is getting completely out of sync with some hours!
In this mode the phone is unreliable and unusable, but some times it will work again, smooth/fast animations as always, what am I doing wrong, I can not understand it and I have tried to search the Internet for solutions for two days now without any luck!
I got cyanogenmod 7.1 installed, and have tried stock android and got exactly the same problem, I have wyped dalvik cache and performed a complete factory reset nothing helps, but then suddenly it works again without any problems for some hours, now it got the same problems again!
I had no luck observing any specific pattern where it will fail, so I am kind of lost on this one!
I hope someone can help.
With best regards
ZigZaggh
Bad news. Multiple (7) vibrations mean - your phone's CPU is overheating. Nothing to do about it, it's dead.
Chances of HTC fixing it are about 0, especially if the bootloader is unlocked.
Thanks for the answers, sure that is the problem? Now it has been working for some days, with no problems at all, if it is a hardware failure, should the problem not stay ore occur at hi work loads?
Yeah HTC will probably not tush it, dam it was a nice phone

Nova HD ROM problem

Hello xda,
I have been following xda for a while now while I had not joined up as a member. I tried the new Nova HD ROM on my LG p990 three days ago and a very nagging problem popped up today which still hasnt subsided.
My phone's display turned up and then off again with the usual animation, all on its own. This happened thrice in one go and after this the phone stopped responding, the display would not light up, the phone would not start, I've been trying to boot into recovery but even that isnt working.
Please help. I cant post in the dev area since I am a new user. If there is anyone who can help, I'll be grateful to him.

Galaxy Mini reboots out of itself

Heya all,
So my Galaxy Mini started rebooting itself today.. Anybody knows what to do? I can't give much details only that I thought the problem could be the custom rom (CM7, New Experience). I flashed it back to stock, but it's still doing the same thing, sometimes it'll hold out for 30 minutes but sometimes it restarts and I can't even open Whatsapp before it reboots again.
All I can tell the on/off button for locking isn't always working as fast as it should. Could this button be stuck or something like that?
Also warranty is gone, got water damage from like 1.5 year ago.. Maybe that could still have something to do with it.
Thanks in advance,
Sanderth.
Update: I was just viewing a WhatsApp message and it rebooted itself again, please does somebody have any advice on how to fix this?
Bump: Please does anybody know what the problem could be? Today at school I wasn't even able to send a message via WhatsApp
Edit: I'm pretty sure it always happens a few seconds after I pressed the on/off button to lock. I just tried to lock it, got the prompt where you can enable airplane mode and turn the phone off and I clicked the back arrow, after ~5 secs it rebooted, could something be stuck behind this button or could my ROM be bugged?
Edit2: Well I disassembled my phone, probably something was stuck behind my button and fell out or something else was wrong with it.. But the most important thing is: It works like it should again, locking is going smooth now and it really feels as if my phone was better than before XD
Next time I'll open it first before opening a topic on xda, but well.. Hopefully somebody who will ever have the same problem will find this thread and fix it the same way I did

Well to be honest, it'll stick to randomly rebooting itself once in a while, less than it was before disassembling and putting it back together again though (From 5 times in one hour to max. 3 on a day). But trying this could never mess something up (as long as you know what you are doing.) At least it's possible to use my phone normally again.
For the people that don't know how to disassemble, use this: http://www.formymobile.co.uk/s5570disassembly.php
Disassemble until you've got the battery compartment of, then just assemble again.

[Q] Xperia V keeps on rebooting.

Hey XDA,
I hope you guys can help me with this annoying problem I am having with my Xperia V.
Two weeks ago I flashed UniQue3 on my phone since I was pretty satisfied with the previous version and I wanted to try the new one. (I had stock installed before that, since it had android 4.3).
Then crazy stuff started happening: My phone would just reboot when I was typing a message or browsing the web. No biggy, this happened before sometime as well. This time it was different. It happened constantly. I could not use Whatsapp for longer than 5 min before my phone just rebooted. Funny thing is this only happened when I was not charging it. It happened while charging it as well, but not nearly as often, maybe once every 5 hours.
My phone would not shut down either if I did not use my screen. I can listen to music for hours without it rebooting, but as soon as I try to answer or even read a message my phone reboots...
So I thought it might be the ROM. I installed CyanogenMod and at first it was better. But after two days everything started again. I am really confused as to what is wrong and I can't find a proper answer online. Some say it's Android 4.3, others say it's the battery.
So I was hoping you guys could help me out.
Greetings,
Krytos.
Try flashing the stock Rom and see if the problem still happens

Just flashed the stock rom and it did not help. Issue is still present.
Which tells you it's a hardware prob = bacterie
Yeah, that's what I thought. Gladly I bought a battery like three days ago, so I hope that will fix my issues.
maybe hardware problem of battery or even board.
Try to lock boot loader if it is open.
