Hello,
I recently flashed CM10 to my SGS, as the old GB was getting waaaaay too slow. Anyway, all went great, CM10 improved performance and brought plenty of goodies, BUT, and this is a big one, I don't get any notifications whatsoever. Someone texts me in WhatsApp - nothing. I gotta open the app and check. Someone sends me an e-mail - nothing, gotta open and check manually. I checked every possible option - nothing is disabled, even auto-sync is on. I looked around for people with similar problems but I couldn't find any.
Does anyone have any ideas why might this be happening? And yes - I checked the app options too, they all have notifications enabled.
Merry Christmas.
i am not sure whether in CM10 it has also to be selected, but can you check in settings->system->status bar: "show notification count" is ticked/selected?

Well, it wasn't checked, I checked it, but still I don't get notified about anything other than missed calls/SMS. No WhatsApp, Facebook, GMail, etc. What could it be?
This applies both to mobile network connection and WiFi, both non restricted in any way.
perhaps a wipe cache in the app itself, could solve the problem....
But i am afraid that then all settings of the apps are gone too.
its in settings->apps-> select the app and the clear data and cache.

Thanks! That was it. I assume it had something to do with me backing up all my apps in the stock 2.3.6 rom and then restoring them at CM10 4.1.
great...yes this was the reason...especially after such a big step to a new version or system then its recommended to clear everything or not to restore all settings.
I succesfully flashed CM11 4/20 on my GT-N7000 and really like it so far. Only problem i have is, that every time i try to set an alarm and want to adjust its settings, i get a window saying "clock stopped". After that i'm put back to homescreen.
I tried clearing the clocks cache and data and did a cache and dalvik wipe, but nothing solved the problem... Also i couldn't find a solution for this on the web.
Does anybody know how to fix this? I would really like to keep the rom.
Thanks a lot!
I've deleted the cache, turned off Google Now and back on and I've delete all of it's prefs. I still can not get the weather cards to show up.
Anyone have a suggestion to fix this?
I've also deleted the Google App cache and the Play Services cache. No diff.
Thanks.

ask google now about the weather in your area. maybe more then once, itll appear there.
I saw it further down the cards once
I would try searching for weather as suggested. Maybe check the card settings and make sure "Interested in weather updates?" is "yes", and possibly reset it.
I noticed that not too long ago the weather card stopped being always on top for me... it now shows up further down most of the time.

I did a search for weather both via the search bar and doing "Ok, Google ... what is the weather like near me? "
The cards are still absent. I think maybe it's an issue in the Google App since they've basically been gone since 5.1. It's not a huge deal and maybe they'll come back in the future.
Thanks.
Hi guys, I'm from Malaysia, using Oneplus 3T, A3003 model, currently on OOS 4.1.3. Been searching for awhile, but couldn't find a work around.
Here's the problem:
When using Facebook Messenger app, with Chat Head on, after some time, it will disappear without me closing it. Then when I manually launch it, it will shows connecting and then connected, and all the delayed notifications.
What I have done:
1) Keep it locked in the recent panels. Didn't solve it.
2) In Settings > Apps > Gear icon > enable the app auto-launch. Didn't help.
3) Enable System UI tuner, switch on Power notification control. Didn't help.
4) Uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Didn't help.
5) Wipe app cache and system cache. Didn't help.
6) Perform a clean factory reset on recovery mode ( wipe data, cache, erase everything). Still didn't work.
However, when I disabled the chat head, it's working fine. No forced close.
My questions are:
1) Anyone else facing this with their 3T? Are you guys on A3003 or A3010 model?
2) Is this an OOS issue? Or the app compatibility issue with Android N? Or is it hardware issue?
Thanks for the support.
Just moments ago I got a forced OTA update from Samsung. Big one 2.5 gigs.
Went through and everything seems to be working perfect, except I can't get into my settings app.
The moment I tap it closes immediately.
Things I've done:
Cleared Settings App cache and Data. Restarted. Cleared Phone Cache from Boot Menu. Uninstalled Playstore updates. Tried a different launcher.
If I have to do a factory reset that's fine, but I would prefer not to. Anyone have any ideas?
