Desktop stand charger - LG G Watch R

I looked at all the desktop stand/chargers for my LG G Watch R and didn't really like the look of any of them. They were all too expensive or involved the expense of a 3D printer, which I don't have.
I used to work in a jewellers and remembered the display stands we used so I found this display stand on eBay. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=121432238405&alt=web
I used a bit of velcro to stick the charger to it.

And it functions as a very minimal and attractive desktop stand and charger. Cost £2.

Nice idea, I went with a 3D printed one http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:713559 I got it printed for free but it shouldn't cost more than a few bucks https://www.3dhubs.com/ is useful to find the best price.

The stand is also on sale on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Orange-3...291196?hash=item44226c2e3c:g:YQQAAOSwovFbQ7c2

Cheapie case from Target

I was looking for SOME kind of belt case for my Streak (until real accessories are available) and I found this one at Target.
I ripped out the clear DS slip cover from the inside and put a few drops of gorilla glue about 2 inches down the side (the long side) of the zipper to keep it from opening too far... just so it is used as a slip case.
When clipping it to my belt loop via the caribiner it just looks like a "tool case"... It isn't the best, but for $10 it will do until something better comes along

Very innovative, some good information to know. Unfortunatley though everyone will think you are a ds junkie.

They finally got in clear, red and green colors in stock! $1.99 shipped overseas..
So pointless..
I see the use for phones or on devices where the ports are on top (for the rain and the like) but I don't really see a use for a tablet with the ports on the bottom.
Some people like to protect their ports. $2 shipped for 5... I just got some for my phone, but thought, hey why not use them on my N7 too getting 5 for the price of 1 set anyways..
To each their own. YMMV.

ShockSock neoprene "pouch" in search check these out

Shocksock neoprene carrying csse for the Gn2 with velcro tab I've been looking for these for some time. Now I know they DO in fact make these for the note 2, they are just a pain to find. Had anyone found any available or bought one before? Preferably for the Gn2 but other Sammy devices if you've owned them I'd love to hear your feedback.
Here are a few pictures of what I'm talking about. They usually run between $7-$9.
Here's one in Black on our Gn2

Machinist's Stand

I am a manual/CNC machinist here in Houston Texas and could not for the life of me find any decent stand for my line of work. So I made one with a Noga Flexible arm magnetic base and attached the backing of an old indicator I had and mounted it in the RooCase i had bought. here are some pics and i plan on making a nicer one later on.

A great tool that I don't see a lot of people use is the magnetic placemat. If you're unfamiliar with what this is, it's a magnetic placemat. Uh... I guess that's pretty self explanatory. You can pick one up for only $20 from ifixit and you'll never have to worry about screws going missing again.
I've used one of these in the past and it really does make disassembly much easier. You don't realize how much time you spend fumbling around with screws until you use one of these.
