yeah its for the s4 and the app will say s4 but it worked for me and im an on the tmobile s5

I just came from the S4 and used the same process for dual booting. I will try it out now and post my results. I'm assuming you used chenxiaolong's Dual Boot Patcher to patch the AOSP rom?

He didn't mentioned about it. Also Youtube tutorial is for Galaxy S4 and links to download doesn't work. I wouldn't risk trying to do that on S5 it sounds like a BS to me.

the dev changed a few things recently like the patcher and swticher app are now in one
the only app you need is the patcher
the download links have been changed on my site
the Patcher app will not make the dualboot file if it is on your sd card you would have to transfer to the device first
few aosp roms work with the app but you can still do it manually

tried to patch the cyanogenmod nightlty and it says failed to patch file failed to patch ramdisk nontype object has no attribute content

Hey guys, I'm the author of the Galaxy S4 DualBootPatcher app.
I just want to point out that this is currently working purely by chance. ROMs with updater-scripts that refer to the named partitions (eg. "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/boot") are safe to try, but any ROM that uses the partition numbers directly (eg. "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/mmcblk0p16") have a chance of bricking the phone irrecoverably because the partition table does not match the Galaxy S4's.
In the next version of the patcher, I will be adding support for the S5 and the Note 3. Until then, I do not recommend dual booting

And I've just been sitting here wondering why it wasn't yet.
Now if I could dual boot ubuntu and android.
Samsung released new app- Game Tuner for galaxy lollipop phones.
It is very amazing app for tuning game quality on phones.
But as for now it is only compatible with Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6Edge+ and some Galaxy S6/Edge.
If you own any other phones bad luck....even some galaxy s6 users

it is tested on
-Galaxy S6 U2COI5 firmware
-Galaxy S5 xterolite rom
but should work on every TW lollipop roms.

Try reducing graphics to minimum quality. .then check...if it still doesn't work ..then maybe it needs some hardware support..

So 50% means 1440*0.5 * 2560*0.5? That's actually 1/4 of the resolution and pretty confusing. Anyway, Samsung's fault. You did a great job!! Works perfectly fine with my Galaxy S6 running Xtrestolite 2.4.

Yes I did it. My TWRP Version is 2.8.7.1. I just noticed that the model 925K can be seen in the options and not 920F. I think it's a change of the Rom. Is this a problem?
Anyone tried this on Mako 4.2, I installed it via playstore but it says incompatible with my model. 920I
I'm using it on my 920f with rom and kernel in my signature.
I have only modified one thing.. product name in build.prop. xtrestolite 2.4 has, as default name, not 920f, so that you can use netflix. Because i don't use this app i have changed name putting original one.
P.s. i have downloaded app from playstore and it works.

Nope because N5 camera needs a lot of edit for works.
With this you can use N5 apk without convert QMG.

Samsung phones use QMG instead of PNG, they're used on various phone (N4, S5, S6 etc...).
With new phones (N5, S6e+), Samsung have changed QMG format, and only way for encode it is with they libs, so with this libs that I've posted you can convert new QMG (because S5 doesn't support it for now).

The air command ported from N5 inside the roms is not working only shortcuts
Now i realize that is missing the apks for SmartCapture and Write on Screen
i took it of the Grace UX/N7
and now its working
Intructions:
Just flash it
Go to system/data/snote and install it as à normal apk
make sure you dont have snote installed or the grace one (need to change the apk name inside of it, due to new changes)

BUGS:
None! Only needs to install the Snote within the app folder as à normal one

i Just noticed it now, i uploaded the wrong zip, MY BAD GUYS
@intxeon please delete the odex files, that was previous installed and the Snote folder
and flash the new link!
please report me back, after flashing go to system/app/sNOTE and install the snote (to stop fcs)
Still have FC's. New link, no SNote installed before, SM-G920F, 6.0.1. firmware. Air Command gets granted superuser rights, then FC's. SNote FC's immediately.

The first link was with wrong packages and missing some other.
Go to system/app and delete the aircommand folder (the grace aircommand thats not working and comflicting with the working one) (first link fault)
Install the Snote within system/data/snote
Reboot.
If still fcs
Please go to system/app and priv-apps delete all folders with air command names and with Spen and Snote.
Just install the new one.
And go to system/app Snote and install it as normal apk to fix the fc.
The new link is working perfectly as people reported me with gs6+ .gs6, gs7 Note 5 and note 4 roms

This is odd!, maybe is your rom!
For my ROM air command work but snote and SmartClipService FC
Replace two file in system/app (Snote and SmartClipService) with this and this
SmartClipService dont work because it serves the pen.
Smart Select and Action Memo not working with S6
However, I changed other Smart Select file (Smart Clip Service.apk) -> Smart Select Working.

Working without, tested onlt with Alexis Rom 5.5 , but @bulldog74ts released the grace air command without S-pen on his new GRACE UX ROOM give it a try

How to install? - Step by Step!
Firstly you need your ROM, which the S7 Camera port supposed to. (Example: NormaV11_singhking83.zip)
Open the ROM .zip file and delete the folder cameradata (/system)
Now delete the folder SamsungCamera3 (/system/priv-app)
If the two folders are deleted open the [v2.0.1]S7Cameraport.rar file and put all the folders into your ROM .zip file (/system)
If you do this, close the ROM .zip file and flash your ROM.

The pro mode is unfortunately not available because it does not work, at least now.
However, I am already working on a solution that the Pro mode will be available soon
But for the pro mode shouldn't be implemented the camera2 api in the rom..?

Just tried that out after complete backup
And,
It does not work
Device doesn't boot
It gets stuck at samsung bootanimation
Just restored backup from twrp recovery
I didn't modify the rom zip file because I didn't want violate any developer's conditions.
I am using the Dr. Ketan M6 and he did restrict users from modifying the zip. So respecting his condition and his efforts I did not modify the zip file .
A great thanks to all the Developers who work so hard to bring such great functionalities to our devices !

In your ROM.zip (for example NormaV9bysinghking.zip) you have to delete the folders cameradata under
/ system and SamsungCamera3 under / system / priv-app.
You do not have to set permissions.
You have to convert the files cameradata and SamsungCamera5 from the .rar file S7CameraPortbyTheDev1711.rar to your ROM.zip (for example, NormaV9bysinghking.zip)

Thanks for the port. Works in dr ketan rom, just follow op instructions. Some feedback from me. Slow motion doesn't work, selfie camera modes doesn't works, low light photos have more noise than the stock camera (tried it in same conditions). On the other hand double tap home button to open works pretty fast! Open Gallery through camera to see the photo you shoot has no lag at all..!photos at night with flash, day photos and video (60fps etc) works like stock. So for 90 % of the shots i prefer th s7 camera due to the speed! And something i forgot hdr doesn't work.

Hdr toggles (auto, on, off) works but i don't have an hdr photo.. All modes produce same picture like auto.. Maybe it is rom related..
