Hye guys my note 5 temperature is being weird for past 2 3 days... when i charge it the phone is very hot.. compared to b4 is there any way for me to analyze it? Been trying all the wakelock apps still did not work... is it my battery??
Change your charging cable or turn off Fast Charging in Setting > Battery (only if u are running on Marshmallow)
And remember to keep your phone in a dry and cool place. Regards

hello
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy s i9000 4 months ago
At the first the battery was strong so I was charging it once every two days
I am surprised of topics, which says that the battery is weak
But about a month ago the battery started to weaken and I became charging once a day
but now I have to charge it twice a day
I tried with advanced task killer and setCPU programs but nothing has changed
also I,make lighting as little as possible, and the type of network put it only GSM
I was put lag Fix, so I said maybe its the Reason so I delete lag Fix and did not change anything
what is the solution with the battery?
You can try install JuiceDefender.
The least you use the phone for data connection, the longer the phone battery can last.
Do you leave Wi-Fi turned on? Check out the very first post in this thread. look in the Wi-Fi bug section. After I tried Fix #1, my battery life has improved drastically.

Read the battery FAQ posts .
Bump charge the battery .
Turn off unnecessary services .
Set WiFi to sleep when screen turns off.
Buy a spare battery cheap enough .
Turn OFF the phone when not in use you dont leave a car running day and night .
Charging twice a day drain battery wipe battery stats and charge fully .

Hi,
On 2 occasions now I have charged my Note (Eyebee's Rocket Rom V12) and it gets very hot.
What seems to happen is it indicates charging, does not increase the charge percentage and the battery and phone get so hot I placed it in the firdge. It got to 64 degrees centergrade just now, last time this happened was 70 degrees C plus. Am afraid this will damage phone.
Has only happened twice, anyone know why charging (with official cable and charger) would do this?
Cheers
Worked it out, bearly had time amongst reading through all the posts of help lol
The Weatherzone App was using 75% cpu time, disabling stops the cpu load and phone much cooler, battery lasts longer now.
Cheers
Hello!
Been using my i9000 for about 2 years and 3 days ago i came around a problem that I can't solve. Let me try to explain as good as my english skills will let me.
I`m charging the battery to 100%. I`m unplugging then plugging back my charger a few times to make sure it's charged 100%. Then I`m using my phone as usual for about 2-3 hours (less if I`m playing a movie or listen to music) and my phone automatically shuts off. When I turn it back on, it shows 1-2% battery.
Now, if I let it idle, it will slowly "charge" back up (without the charger plugged). It wont show the charging icon over battery, but it's level will rise to about 60-70%.
If, after I turn it back on I use it intensively, it will shut down in 1-2 minutes. I tried to charge it to full and then enter that root menu (volume up+menu key+power key) to delete the battery stats, but still can't solve the problem.
I can't believe my battery is dieing or having a hardware problem because it started acting like this out of the blue, so I think there's a software problem somewhere (maybe corrupted battery info stats or something). My bet is on the fact that the phone doesn't know the empty and full limits of the battery.
My phone is rooted and using android 2.3.6. Any advice would be highly appreciated, thanks!
Same problem here

Did you get to have yours fixed??
I had the same problem with my I9000, in the same period.. what are the odds?
I replaced the battery, and the battery level weirdness went away, but I'm still having problems charging it. Actually, the battery won't charge in the phone, tried several charges, with different amps. I have an external charger, which will take the battery at 100%, and it will last a few hours in the phone.
I also have another problem: if I have the phone on, with the charger connected, and shut it down, I can only get it back on if I disconnect the charger. I also don't get the battery indicator when the phone is off.
I was using CM10, but then I reverted to stock 2.3.6, tried a few kernels, modems, etc, but none solve my problems.
hi guys
quite basic problem u got there
if ur on 2.3.6, then its natural problem.its not like changing kernel can solved it as it is safety measure for battery in stock ROM.
to answer ur question;
when charging at deepsleep mode nothing will change=
as cpu at min stated, even wifi will be knocked off n sometimes network signal also.
battery suddenly goes up when rebooting or awake from deepsleep=
its ur battery stat+safety measure for battery (hav u heard BLX (Battery Life Xtender) in any cm10 features?) to maintain fone power state.
battery will never goes 100% n u need to plug n unplug again for it to full=
still count as BLX (above) as in this features battery will goes 90% - 95% as its max to make sure battery lasting longer (if not,why do u think u can still use ur battery in full state after 3 years (1000+ cycles) n it still not bubling like old nokia fone?)
fone will not awake when charging (if enter sleep mode) =
check ur kernel n make sure min cpu change to ~200mhz as its min n dont lock ur cpu to its min.if in stock, something wrong with ur home or power (da one trigger awake) button.
da conclusion is, sometimes (3 month calculated) reset ur battery stat (if ur on GB) with app (too many app on Gstore) but needed root n follow strictly step. DO NOT OVERCHARGE (charging n leaving ur fone till morning to discharge) n be thankful this features intact in updated GB so u can use ur battery much longer than nokia fone.
but u can change it by upgrading to cm9 to disable it. charge it with 'stay awake' enable on dev option n u ll get full 100% usage of ur battery
thats all for my morning essay
n thank you for reading (if u try to read)
Regards

Actually we have a thread with battery problem.
1 Turn off your phone.
2 Charging phone without turning on to full and switch on then continue charging to 100%
3 When getting 100% signal, unplug quickly.
4 Pull off the battery and put it anywhere.
5 Press power buton copule time
6 Wait for 20 min
7 Meanwhile, take this opportunity to dust off the internal compartment.
8 Put back the battery on the right side.
9 Turn on the phone.
10 Pray the Battery god
11 ... and voilà !

I've been having the same issue.
i have this phone 1 year now and i had the same problem few days ago...im not a heavy user,so the phone usually lasted for 2 days of normal usage...but few days ago after i charged it, the phone lasted like 8-9 hours and Android OS was eating my battery 68%, keeping my phone awake all the time...
so i left the phone to completely dry up the battery until it shut down itself...then when i connected to the charger even more strange thing happened, the phone recognized that it is charging (as usual), but the screen was kinda blinking green lights all over the screen (there was no battery icon) and the phone started itself (i didnt even touch the power button)....after it started itself i shut it down and left it to charge up....after full charge i powered the phone and it is working normally for now....
so,i dont know if this gonna help you at all, but try leaving your phone to use all the battery until it shuts down itself and recharge it, after full charge power it up and see if it gets back to normal
cheers

I have this exactly same problem. Please what should I do?? How do I know if I need battery replacement?
Hi i bought a galaxy tab s 2 about 2 weeks ago it's really good device but yeaterday when the battrey goes 1 % the horizantal lines appear on the screen and after 5 secends mt tablet shtdown is it normal on s series to shutdown like this in low battery or it's my tablet problem??
can confirm mine has done this once...will post if I have further issues
Same on both my 810 and wife's 710. Usually happens as it goes below 10%. Lucky you get down to 1%. Received with 5.0.2 + 2 additional updated have not corrected the issue. If it did a normal shutdown that might be ok, it's the way it dies that concerns me.
Same happened to me once when battery was at 2%.
Same here on T715 .. don't like it and freaked out when it first happened .. glad to know it's not only me but still don't like that it dies like that!!
guess the % battery display isnt as accurate as we think,so if it shuts down at a higher % than 0% its because the battery really is below the dangerous values.
If LiPo batteries fall below a certain voltage, there is no coming back .. means the battery is DEAD.
so be glad that the safety shutdown works so well, and dont let your batteries run that low often !!!!!!!
ideal is a charging state of 40-80%,so better to charge it short more often ,instead of a 0% => 100% charge all the time.
This will increase your battery life !!!

Agreed. That's what the low battery warning is for.
Mine does it consistantly at 15%. Ridiculous.
I got a 810 and I got the same problem!
I hope it's just a badly calibrated battery and not a bad batteryconnector! http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...lickering-power-problems-like-tab-12-2-a.html
