Couple Battery Questions

Will the battery develop a 'memory' if you recharge before being nearly depleted which would lessen battery capacity?
Can the NC be left plugged in 24/7 without damaging or lessening battery life?
Similar to a mechanical device that wears out faster with heavy use, so also does the depth of discharge (DoD) determine the cycle count. The smaller the depth of discharge, the longer the battery will last. If at all possible, avoid frequent full discharges and charge more often between uses. Partial discharge on Li -ion is fine; there is no memory and the battery does not need periodic full discharge cycles other than to calibrate the fuel gauge on a smart battery.

[Q] Battery Cycle

Can anyone explain what is a battery cycle???
how should the charging pattern for our Galaxy S should be-
1. let the battery go down to less than 10% and then charge it to full.
or
2. charge in between(charging for some amount of time only- not letting battery to go to very low level).
Charge it when it convenient.
There's no free lunch. Draining the battery longer will reduce the amount of useful recharges. You can't overcharge the battery. On top of everything batteries are cheap.
At the end of the day throw your phone on charge and forget about it. If you use it a lot charge it during the day too.

[Q]

Hi. I want to use the supercharger script everyday. So I put it as a schedule everyday 3:00AM after I fully charge my phone when I was sleeping. Will anything happen to my device? I'm curios because I only want to charge my phone from 0 - 100%. And when I fully charge it, it reboots for the supercharger thing. And it is interrupted. Can anyone tell me Will anything happen to my device?
please make it more clear
I mean when I fully charge my phone then the supercharger script will run which includes superclean( wipe dalvik-cache and reboot) and it will use up battery. That means if the battery goes to 100% - 98% means it will charge again from 98-100. I want my phone to charge from 0-100 because it is good for battery, so if it charge from 98-100 is it bad for the battery?

nothing is wrong in charging from 98%-100%
charging from 0%-100% is required when you want to calibrate your battery

It's not exactly bad to charge your phone from 98% - 100%. Just that it is recommended to charge your phone from <20% - 100% at least once a month as it helps to improve your battery lifespan. I charge from about 50% to 100% most of the time, and only charge from 0% to 100% every 2 weeks or when I feel that it is needed.
Don't worry about charging from 98 % to 100%, i charge from 80% - 100% every day (well, not every day, but mostly)

battery capity? photo

So when i had note 8 after battery replacement i installed accubattery to see how battery health was. I see 2982. Now i fully charged to 100% with fast charge about 1 week every day. So i see now 3324! But real battery capity 3300. How recharged battery? When charged via normal charged usb not fast adapter, i have fast charge and i can disabled via settings. So on another phone i charged without fast charfe so i had 2430mah when reached to 100 it dropped down to 2400mah. Because slow charged and full reached charger. Sometimes i charged until 86% so increase mah battery. But on note8 i see overchargerdd on another phone i wiped cache accubaterry so when i turned on battery to see how battery left mah shows 2572 when i insert to charge the phone . So accubattery bugs?! Now shows on a8 normal! 2410mah 79%battery left health
Use aida64, its more accurate. To check battery cycle, use devcheck.
Devcheck shows 9 charge cycle but not shows how battery health

9-10 cycle shows that you really got new battery. Just check their capacity with aida64. You should get arround
3100-3200 on android pie when you fully charge it.

Yes the battery was new . When i got i installed accubattery app to see how much health left when insert new battery! Shows 98% now i charged a day about 2weeks to 100 with fast charger and without fast cable. Sometimes percent in accubatery app dropped down . But now shows 3331 mah 101%!!! I charging to 100% but the procent dont dropped down . Proceng should be down about -500mah when charged to 100. On another phone when i charged to 100% i see dropped -500mah. When i charged to 80% battery health extended! But on note8. Overcharged 3323?? Actually 3300 mah. But why shows accubattery 3323? I charged fully when i got new battery. And now still charging to 100 on every day!
My battery discharged in 10 hours with 7% brightness . Sometimes i used 4g. Screen on time 5hours a day. Normal? Nfc off ,location off. I trying with power safe mode!

But how about 101% battery health? Shows 3331 battery but battery is 3300! Overcharged? This is bad for battery? I got new and it was 2972 battery when i installed accubattery! And i charged every day to 100. With fast charger and via micro usb, and with disable fat charge but i charged via fast adapter

Screnshoot your full charge battery capacity with aida64, we will knows exactly how much it is. Accu battery is base on observation, not directly by battery reading.
I got 600+ cycle and 3139 mAh, but still got 6-7 hour SOT usage.

I don't understand the battery care schedule.

What is the schedule for? I want to use this to preserve my battery but what should i set this to? If i set it from 10pm to 7am is that all slow charging or fast charging. It says it dynamically adjusts battery charging but im super confused on it.
The charging is supposed to be fast until 80% or so and then trickle charge till 100%. However there is a bug in this module, it doesn't charge according to the set schedule. I had enabled it from midnight to 7 am but found the phone to be completely charged at 5.30am.
I think it's a good feature that all smartphones should have. The benefits of it is your battery will not degrade faster. So in layman terms your battery charges slowly instead of charging the phone in 2-3 hours long from (0 to 100%) which is the default state. Instead It will take longer if the schedule is long. "now will it charge exactly for as long as the schedule you set?, clearly not but it will nevertheless charge slowly which is the point".
I have set the timings such that I don't ever charge it more than 80% (that is more than enough juice + longer battery life maybe) since I am staying at Home always with Work From Home facility, and as there is no need for me to go out.
Battery Care Schedule: 12:00 PM - 11.59 AM
What this means is a full 24 hours, meaning that I can plug at any time of the day and still trick the device to only fast charge till 80% almost everytime. I usually don't put it to charging at night, but if I do, even then I am able to get i charged upto 80% max and the rest is left up to trickle charge.
For example. I usually sleep at 22:00 And i wake up at 07:00. Set it to 22:00 to 07:00. You will have 100% battery when youre awake. Doesnt matter if it's slow or fast charging. But its best you use the charger which came with the phone. That's about it.
