Hi guys I need some help with getting my Bionic to boot up. I was installing the files linked in this thread: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594804&highlight=overclock) so I could OC my phone. I flashed the zips successfully and I rebooted my phone however it didn't boot and instead it is stuck in a black screen. I didn't disable safe system, so I am wondering if that caused it. Can anyone help?
Edit: Nevermind, I fixed the problem by hard reseting an disabling Safe System.
after enable some modules that i'm sure are compatible with lollipop and reboot to activate them, my phone just stuck at the end of boot animation, can' t do anything at all, but luckily, i still can get the logcat; and if i reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik cache then reboot, my phone can now boot normally with all modules working fine, then the next time i reboot, it just got stuck at boot animation again
i have attached a logcat below
It might help to say what your phone is.
I was able to root my ME572c without issue, installed Titanium backup, removed a bunch of Asus apps, and the device was working fine. I randomly decided to restart the tablet this morning, and now it is stuck at the Asus boot screen, and It is not even going through the boot animations (no boot loop). I'm not sure what i did to make this happen. I did use ROM manager to flash clockwork recovery, and I'm not sure if i flashed the correct version.
What can I do to fix this? I can't boot into recovery mode at all, nor turn off the device.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
I didn't know there was Clockwork recovery for this as I looked and couldn't find it. Do you have a link?
Hey guys,
I was using my phone today and decided to turn it off. I am currently on 5.1 and I am rooted on stock. When I turned it back on, I was kind of stuck on a boot loop but I can usually bypass this by holding down the power button until I feel a quick vibrate and then my phone starts doing the "Optimizing Apps...". However, it didn't do that this time so I decided to reboot my phone into recovery, wipe the cache and dalvik and restart. Again, stuck on the boot animation screen. So I just let it run its course and then all of a sudden I see my phone go to the home screen but my launcher is reset and I am running out of cache space. I decide to connect my phone to my computer and backup some files. As I backup the last of my DCIM folder, my phone reboots and all of a sudden I have the new Motorola boot animation with the stitching I guess. But then I'm stuck at the bootloop again.
Anyone else experience this or know how I can fix this? I reaaallly don't want to factory reset.
I recently did a reset via settings on a gen 1. No change in boot animation. I then did a reset via stock recovery and got the new animation. I then did another reset via settings and during the first boot it had the old animation but subsequent boots have the new animation.
My dad dropped and cracked his Note 4. I need to boot it up to get the data off it.
For some reason it wont boot to recovery, it gives me the blue text but it just boot loops after. I cannot get it to boot to the OS either.
I can get to download mode, i already tried flashing the firmware through odin. After doing so, it goes to recovery to install the system update, but then freezes 1/4th the way through and boot loops again.
I cant flash a custom recovery because the FRP lock stops me.
The only thing i have access to without a problem is Download mode. Can anyone please help me get this thing booted so i can recover the data?
Thank you!
