Hi Guys,
i got an ipega gamepad, but it wont work.
My Xperia e1 does find it via bluetooth, but cant connect to it, if it will connect, it wants me to insert a password.
Also the LEDs on the gamepad keep flashing, what they shouldnt if it's connected.
Somebody got the same gamepad and could help me ?
BTW my e1 is rooted, so if i need to install something into the system it aint a problem.
coudl it be that you need the ipega game center app?
a friend of mine had the same problem

I own a ps3 and a sony bravia TV. So my question is, how do I use the ps3 controller(wireless) on my xperia z to play android games on my tv ? (I know it is possible with the xperia s)

Get Sixaxis Controller on your phone. (This does require root if I remember correct.)
Use SixaxisPairToolSetup on your PC to overwrite the bluetooth mac adres the controller will be pairing with.

Should work fine with the Xperia Z, tested it a week ago.

Also note if you want to play PS3 with it again, hook it up to your PS3 using the USB cable,
This will overwrite the adres so it can pair wireless with your PS3 again.

Hey all. I have a question about dualshock 3 wireless connection with my Xperia Z1. Until i've updated my Z1 up to android 4.3 it works great, but it doesn't at this moment. I've tried to wipe all data on my phone and reflash new FW, but it still doesn't works.
My Z1 was italian. I've flashed it to russian 290 via flashtool. Then wiped it and reflashed Central Eu 290. But it still can't connect via bluetooth.
XZ1 tells me to disconnect cable from it, so it will connect wirelessly. But it doesn't
Would be great if you can assist me to solve this problem. Thanks!

Not sure if you have or not but try the SixAxiscontroller app on the play store, I've never tried the native controller app but i know that the sixaxis one works really well, it allows you to map controls to the screen for games that don't support pads.
Give it a whirl or at the very least the compatibility app.

Hello , in the xperia z3 you can choose to connect a ps3 or a ps4 controller , but in the xperia z3+ you can only connect the ps4 controller , is there any other way to connect a ps3 controller to the xperia z3+
Hi, i'm actually wondering about the same thing. Have ordered the z3+ and it will arrive in about 1week or 2. If i remember correctly, there was an app on can buy at playstore which basically does the same, i guess i'll just try it out when i get the phone, and return the phone if the app fails.

Hey guys, I just got my new Le2 Quite happy with it ) But one thing I wanna know is- Does Le2 support PS3 Controller over OTG? I tried connecting my PS3 controller and it does not seem to work. The light blinks on my ps3 controller but no buttons are registered when I press them. Also games do not detect my controller. While my controller works with my Sony tablet over OTG. Could anyone else please confirm that Controller is (not) supported with Le2? Thank you.

Six axis controller is very laggy. And it does not seem to work well with le2. Gets disconnected after 10 mins automatically.

Then you can try to make a custom key layout file (.kl) you'll need root and a Linux pc. Google it

Good Morning Everyone.
I have problem with connect or pair Dualshock 3 controller to my smartphone, Sony Xperia XZ1 with Android Oreo 8.0.0 OFW. Previously, when I had use Sony Xperia Z3+/Z4 there wasn't any problem with connect by BT and play.
I did that(Z3+): (1)Turn on BT and plug USB OTG(uUSB-B) -> (2)Plug Dualshock3 to the Xperia by USB Cable and USB OTG(at this point Dualshock3 work fine by Cable Connection)-> (3)When InfoDiodes start blinking(you know, inform about charging from device), I double click PS Button-> (4)Diode sign by number 1 start glow continuously(this inform me that the Dualshock3 is Sign for Xperia) -> (5)Unplug usb cable from Controller-> (6)Wait 3-6sec and controller plugged to the Xperia by BT.(No ingeretion and No Pincode etc.)
But now is different. With my XZ1 i can made point (1) and (2)-the same result, but Point (3) do nothing Dualshock3 don't sign to my XZ1 by doubleclick PS Button and when I unplug usb cable from Controller, Xperia try to connect and please for some PIN CODE... EVERYTIME! I tried 1234,0000 or xxxx(becuase there is option for write a letters) but this do nothing.
Summary: By cable work perfect in games but by BT not working becuase have problem with Pair Controller.

If you are rooted, you can use the sixaxis app.
