Unbrick LG G4 H811 - T-Mobile LG G4

Good night guys.-
I wonder if there is any solution for brick G4 for this version , since I have seen it is releasing some files from multiple versions except those to remove the brick my device.
Thank you

It depends on how you bricked it and what state it's in.
Does your phone turn on?
what's on the display?
when you plug it into a computer does it show up as a device and if so what kind?
what did you do to brick it?

the screen or the LED is not lit , the pc recognize me as " qhsusb_bulk "

I don't think we have a fix for qhsusb_bulk yet. sounds like you flashed a boot loader for a different device.

I Fixed it on my H811. For those who need help, i have written the thread

I need help please.
I have a H811 T-mobile LG G4. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP, flashed MM-20e Global rom which is ported rom from H815 20e. Everything worked well untill I deciced to relock the bootloader! I have issued a command fastboot oem lock and the device began to bootloop. "Secure Booting Error, Error Code 1003, MODIFIED".
I Have tried LG Bridge but it says "Can't check internal storage".
I Have tried LGUP with several kdz files including H81120o but it says "Invalid kdz file" (LGUP sees my device as H81520e now)
I have tried LG Flash tool and nothing works.
Your help would be highly appreciated.

Lg up tool Device model unknown?

My g4 is in a state of half alive half dead.
I explained in another post my issue.
Seemingly people say lg up tool is now the only method Unlike the old flash tool method to unbrick or kdz stock is this Only cause of 6.0 firmware?
When i plug in phone to pc in download mode Lg up tool shows device model as unknown. And says please select a device model which theres no butons to do that.
Lg flash tool 2014 won't flash 20i kdz it errors out connection upon extracting kdz software at around 80% Even leting it sit don't work like people say to do
Ive tried 10n kdz also that says software upgrade in progress fails at 9% then says unplug phone from pc and retry.
There is no Com in the download mode screen at any point.
All i did by mistake was fastboot oem relock bootloader Whilw rooted and on micromods Rom ONLY cause i wasnt sure if that' was the cause of the failed Flash tool errors. Now i have secure boot error 1003. Now I knew that was a No no with Nexus phones but i suspected Lg kdz over writes all that stuff.
Theres gotta be a way with one of the 2 tools Or a way to adb re unlock the bootloader and maybe salvage my Underlying twrp recovery and O.S

Bricked H811 (Error 1003) while on Genisys, cannot use LG tools to restore from KDZ

Well I was dumb today and thought I'd see what happens when I go and lock the bootloader on my tmobile G4 with Genisys 4.9 installed. I was going to replace it anyway it was giving me issues. it started bootlooping with error 1003. No prob, I bricked this thing before. But now LGUP will not recognize the model. Model is Unkown, and COM Ports are COM4, Genisys. I've tried just about everything I can. I think my issue is that LG isn't seeing my device as a H811 so it won't let me force it to restore. Are there other ways that I can restore, since I can get into download mode?

Yeah, see the problem is that LGUP isn't reading my h811 as itself, just saying unknown model so I can't flash with itg
So to go more in depth and kind of bump this thread, I cannot enter recovery. I can get to where it asks me twice to confirm resetting but instead of entering twrp it goes back into the LG bootloop. My biggest thing is I need adb, but I can't figure out if I can access it on this device, since I can't boot into the OS or recovery. I think the custom rom I had on it, Genisys 4.9, changed the model number in build.prop so the LGUP tool only sees it as an unknown model. If I could just force LGUP to think it's the H811 it is then I could probably flash it. LG Flash Tools always get frozen at the network part. Well since the entire problem came from my using "fastboot oem lock" while on a custom rom, so I assume I just need to "fastboot oem unlock" to fix it. God this has been such a pain

Badly Needed HELP! LG G4 T-Mobile H810 Accidently Locked Bootloader With ADB

Hello Everyone!!!
I am urgently needing help on my T-Mobile LG G4 H810 and I'm at my WITS END! I rooted and unlocked the bootloader, but I was trying to remove the text on the top left on the splash screen Unlocked Bootloader. I didn't go into Settings to re-lock the bootloader and I typed in the command using adb! I know it was stupid but I didn't think it would brick my device! So, When I turn on the phone, the top left corner it says:
Secure booting Error!
Error Code : 1003
MODIFIED !!
Trust Me I've Properly installed LG Drivers and all Software to a T and Tried Many if Not All Versions (2014, 2015, 2016, 2.0.1.6 etc)
Also....During Firmware Update a.k.a Download Mode Inside the Box it Shows: 633A B100
Things I've Tried:
- Doing a Factory Reset, pressing Power and VOL Down then release and press Power again. After Reset it still doesBootloop with 1003.
- Following This Guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/help/secure-booting-error-1003-t3315915 Which I got to LG UP while in Download Mode but says Model: Unknown COM Ports: [COM10, H872... and WILL NOT let me continue because it's Unknown Device. I Tried Switching COM Ports to COM3, COM41 etc. But Didn't Help.
- I've Watched Youtube Videos to Use LG Flash Tool for ALL VERSIONS on Three Different Laptops! The procedure is as follows:
Type: CDMA PhoneMode: DIAG Rest Mode 33000. So I select the .kdz and Normal Flash or CSE Flash (I've tried both on every .kdz file I have), Read Phone Information just leads to program freezing, So I Press "START" Then "OK" for the Language English. The % bar goes UP and It gives The Connection Failed Error Which is Normal. On the Phone in that Box now Reads:
633A S0.0 AS0.0 B100 UHS
S U LG-H811 06.0 Hrev_10
HS1120v
The % stops and the timer keeps going but in the box it now just shows 633A B100
The KDZ Files I've Tried: H811V20p_00_0913, H811V20r_00_0111, H81110H_00, H81120i_00_0201, T-Mobile H811 10N, PR H810PR10a_02, PR H810PR10a_04.
I Switched Out Multiple Cables But Hasn't Helped!!!
I have been doing this for countless hours each week for several weeks and I can't believe Every Method Hasn't Worked! PLEASE HELP! I'M LOSING MY MIND DOING THIS! :crying:
P.S.
YES, I have opened the Phone and the Mainboard is a H810 but it was Sold to Me as an H811 Which at the Time Firmware showed H811 Last Time I Checked.

When you connect your H811 to your PC just, let's say, to transfer files or photos, is the phone detected? If not, I'd try a new cable just in case (sounds too simple but you never know). Also, when you connect to your PC what, if anything, shows up in Device Manager (assuming you're using a PC)?

I just looked up your other posts. You've been posting problems with an H811 since last August. Bricked after update, forced reboots, battery, camera, bricked, bricked, bootloader won't unlock. If all of these issues involved the same phone then I'd at least consider the possibility the phone has some hardware or firmware defect. Just a guess but that seems like a LOT of problems to have with one device.

I'm reluctant to keep posting what I'm sure you'll see as elementary ideas but just in case, have you tried a different computer to see if it too only "sees" your G4 under certain circumstances? That business about your phone freezing and needing the battery removed sure makes it sound as though there is some unusual incompatibility. If there is, hopefully your computer is the problem rather than your phone.

Okay, I tried a new cable and different PC But still wasn't detected in Fastboot mode It's only detected when the device is powered on and unlocked... My last LG G4 never did any of this.. Same phone as before except the imei of course and the S/W version is higher. But i don't see why that would make anything different with it So i have no clue on what to do now
Okay i figured it out finally! The driver from LG's website kept conflicting with the phone when plugged into the computer the phone kept reinstalling the driver for it and the driver from LG's site detected the driver from the phone being newer and kept failing to install. I booted the phone into the bootloader then installed the driver from LG's site while the phone was plugged in, I rebooted BOTH phone and computer and it started to detect it now.
Boot loader won't unlock LG G4 H811
I have a LG G4 H811 (firmware version H81120o)
I want to unblock the bootloader but all attempts did not help
when you try to unlock through the ADB, after the second command line
the following text appears on the phone:
--------------------------------------------------------------
* Welcome to Fastboot Mob for bootloader unlock:
* Quik Guidance
1) How to ulock: fastboot oem unlock
2) Check bootloader is unlocked: fastboot getvar unlocked
* HOW TO exitfastboot mode
1) Press the Power button for 10 secs to turn off the device
2) Use "fastboot reboot" command if the fastboot is available
----------------------------------------------------------------
After the appearance of such text, the phone freezes and does not respond to any commands
I've tried all the ways that you can find on "YouTube" but they do not help
help me please
sorry for the incorrect text, I use Google translator
thanks to everyone

Moto g6 hard brick after ota update

Hi everyone. I have a moto g6 and I updated a few weeks ago, but the thing is that when I was flashing the stock (the 8.0 version becuase it doesn´t exist a 9.0 yet) rom via fastboot I get an error about "downgrade security", after that I try to unlock the bootloader and I found that I cant get into the os and the recovery, it apears an error "failed load kernel" and gets into the fastboot mode. I try to unlock the bootloader via adb but i can´t because i can´t get in to the recovery, only fastboot mode. I try many ways to fix this but I don´t found anything yet.

Just power up directly to bootloader holding power + vol down, then reflash the latest official firmware for your device. As long as it is the official firmware for your device you don't need to unlock bootloader.
BUT if you brick it with an updated bootloader thats more recent that the OG firmware available for your device, sadly you have a cute paperweight until an official firmware with a more up to date bootloader is available. It happend once to me with a G4 Play have the device useless for a good 2 months until a firmware with a new bootloader was available. It sucks.
You have to go to the service center.
Hey msobarzoe13, I am using moto g6 and from India. When android p soak test was leaked as everyone out there, I tried it. It was good except for some network issues. So I decided to revert back to the stock firmware. I downloaded the OS and flashed it and faced the same issue. I tried several times but no luck. I was not even able to unlock the bootloader because I didn't turn on OEM unlock under settings. So I took it to the service center. The best part is by installing Beta your warranty is void. So I did it through the service center. They told Moto G6 series is very secured so flashing it with a leaked software is prevented. I don't know why. So don't take a further risk, take it to the service center.

What you mean with "OG firmware" and what if the motorola is totally hardbricked? I mean not able to go to bootloader or recovery or even fastboot because he didnt turn on android debugging oem?

If your bootloader is still locked just take it to a moto service centre, I also tried downgrading and took it to service centre they fixed it
I have also hard bricked my moto g6 while updating. There was an OTA update and i started update without noticing my battery percentage. Now i have hard bricked dead moto g6. There is no response at all. Only life in my device is that it is detected as Qualcomm HS-USB QLoader 9008 in pc.
My Moto G6 went into Hard Brick after downgrade and upgrade, does not go into download mode and does not turn on, just flashes the led.
Does anyone have a solution.
Thanks.

Same problem with me also. It may be detected as qualcomm hs-usb qloader 9008 while you connect in pc. If that is the problem than we need blank flash file which is not available right now. Either we have to send our device to service center for motherboard replacement or we need to wait for blank flash file which is not possible to come because these files are sensitive to motorola. another solution is if some one provide me mmcblk0.img of moto g6 than i might be able to boot it from sd card and may revive it again.
My Moto G6 Ali got hardbricked also plzzz help anyone solved it or have blankflash HE
Do anyone got any solution regarding this then plzzz help
