Hi, I need someone with the skills who could help me with my boot animation request for my GT- P5110. I've searched for three whole days from apps and the web for various boot animations, and only a very few suited my taste but later regretted them either because of low quality or small resolution size. So I'm left with my last resort, to ask you, respectable people from xda, for help. I have no computer nor the tools to make a boot animation, nor do I have enough skills and knowledge in animating or editing pictures. I will post images/gif below as a referrence to what I'm looking for.
I would want to have a customized boot animation of the Cyanogenmod 10, the one with a circle and has a blue pattern with lines, swirling counter clockwise inside it. I would love to have that bootanimation in color "red" or "crimson" or the "coolest red color" as its default color, but without the Cyanogenmod logo and that logo should be replaced with a Saber Toothed Tiger design inside the circle that is facing at the left screen of my tablet. If you could also replace the swirling blue pattern inside the circle, with a red plasma swirling counter clockwise inside, that would really be AWESOME. The color of the Saber Toothed Tiger should also be in "black and red", or black and blue, or maybe in black and white, but I would prefer to have the "black and red" as the color for the Saber Toothed Tiger. The Saber Toothed Tiger should also not cover some parts of the customized Cyanogenmod 10 boot animation and its eyes should glow bright red then back to a dim red and back to glowing red and so for, just like the unicorn in the gif I posted below.
A referrence of my suggestion, saw this in Google Image which I also found in Necromancer3's reply that is in Hidden Content in the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...tion-android-5-0-l-boot-t2814467/post61242621

The Saber Toothed Tiger I searched through Google Image that I would want in the boot animation. The eye to be used in glowing red and dim red should be the eye that is large like the one in the unicorn.
And an example of a red color of a Cyanogenmod 10 boot animation in the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1858517 provided by Jleeblanch for Motorola Photon 4G (it can be downloaded on an Attached File below his post, the link below the example image of red Cyanogenmod 10 doesn't work)
I hope it could be in High Quality too and compatible to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (P5110) screen.
Resolution of my tablet is 1280x800
It should loop the same with the normal Cyanogenmod 10 boot animation and its FPS is the same or like the one in the unicorn gif.
I would appreciate any kind help to someone who could fulfill my request, it would be an awesome addition to the other boot animations out there as well, and in hope to make our Android Devices look much much more awesome.
I agree, this could be an awesome addition, but themers are less in our tab community, tried requesting in any boot animator threads?

THIS TEMPLATE IS NOT CORRECT!!!
Please use the template in the following thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=993596
Ok so I increased the original template by 50% and created another PSD for those that want to use higher resolution images.
The new visible resolution for each desktop is 1764x1028 and the overall image resolution is 2616x1920.
It should be noted that the desktop area is NOT in the center of the image as the bottom status bar pushes it up a bit.
thanks for this. The wallpaper isn't the same when honeycomb only shows a portion of the wallpaper

No problem!
I am not really sure if its really anything different then other Android versions. Its really just that Honeycomb is meant to be used in landscape and I dont think that the crop tool has been redesigned to compensate for that.
My other wallpapers on my Nexus S, Vibrant and G1 all look chopped when the phone is rotated to landscape as apposed to portrait. Its still odd that the centered resolution for each desktop is lower then the native resolution of the screen in both dimensions. Its making me wonder if the screen really is 1280x800 native resolution.
Either way the template above works and keeps things centered for us.
Awesome! Thanks, works perfectly so far.

Yes it does, but the images do appear a bit crisper. Im not worried about the size anyway as I store all of my walls on Picasa.
Thank you! :d
This is exactly what I've been Googling for.. Thanks for making it! Now I can start working on some cool wallpapers for my xoom!
Thanks ritalin!

Dumb question for you....do you select green layer and resize the image within the template to that and save the whole thing, or do you resize it to the green area and then create another file?
Think I figured it out

If you are using the large template then the Green area in the center is the area of the wallpaper that is visible on the default center desktop. The red areas to its side are what you will see if you scroll to the desktops left or right of center.
If you are using the colors only to center your images, then hold down CTRL+; to bring up the guides, which will make it easier for you.

You need photoshop to use the PSD in the zip file.
Here is a JPEG of the template, it will not contain the guides but you can still use the colored blocks.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, this is my first ever bootanim, and that's the idea, make it better , and yes, I know I have to correct the animations.

New version is UP
Looks pretty good. I just think the light effect could be a little more wide, it's kinda hard to see the Android text. But the effect is pretty good
Thanks, I will fix that.

I like it! Very nice. Looks smooth and pretty cool. Good work.
hi santi. i was going to suggest a red colour but i noticed you already had one
but yes, it is a brilliant idea. looks very good too. im very sure as soon as the animation is fixed it would be a sure hit.
also it would be nice if the 'android' words could remain lit for the slightest of durations. otherwise its fantastic
keep up the good work
320 x 480
Hello, your animation is very good, and I like it very much. Could you please make it in 320 x 480? Thank you in advance

Yes please!!!! A green version would be prefect. Something to go with my Android green setup:
This doesn't seem to work on the Atrix (qHD screen). I have gone through several different boot animations, so I know how to do it and I have double checked the permissions.
Edit: At 15 FPS and having the first "visual" be at about frame 60, it is possible that the phone is finishing booting before I can actually make out that there was anything there.

Read the OP, not done yet. Soon
BTW HVGA Users test the attached version, i will add it to OP if this works.
Also Green version later.
Thanks for the quick reply. I might be mistaken here, but even though the resolution of what you have linked here isn't qHD, shouldn't it still work on a qHD display? The Boot Animations I've used in the past have never been qHD resolution, but have always worked - they just didn't take up the whole screen.
DK
I have modified and combined frysee's BIOS boot and Dysgenic's Particle ring into a boot animation for CyangenMod 7.
Its a bit specific for my device (Desire with 16gb class 4 SD) but I have posted it here if anyone wants it, or wants to modify it.
I had a problem with the first few frames being show as a blank white screen.
I think its because of the image palette being different in the first part with the yellow logo.
I did it to shave some bytes off the final zip size, not knowing that it could cause a problem.
But with CyangenMod 7 Nigthly build 119 it works flawless.

I have placed mine in /system/media/ replacing the existing bootanmation.zip
Excellent job! I may consider modifying this to use the original CM7 boot animation as the part1. Also, moving the FPS to 30 helped with smoothing out part1 with no issues on my CDMA Desire. Thanks for the hard work!

i just got one little problem. the first part is way to fast. and the second part is lasting ´bout double time compared to the first...AND my 8gb sd is a clas 6
compares over compares, i know...sorry ´´bout that
if you can fix it, if there´s some spare time, that´ll be absolutely great
Haha! This is one amazing boot animation! Works perfect on my 2X.
Good work.

Hello you may have with cyanomod galaxy 's? thanks
Maybe ill take som time to make an action in photoshop to save every frame of the animation. Then it should be easy to make the bios boot animation for any phone.
But it will take some time, and right now I dont know when I will have the time. But soon

First one to test I guess.. I tested this LWP on my SE Xperia Mini ST15i which has a mdpi screen. My first impression is that what i saw on your post is really what it looks like as a LWP. I thought it would really look like the plasma crystal ball thingy, when you touch those it would create electrical connection.
When I move or switch panels in homescreen and appdrawer the LWP pauses. I don't know if that's really how it works.
I suggest it would look like those plasma crystal ball thingy where at the center of the screen is a swirling small plasma ball then when users touch the screen it would make like a electrical connection effect. And maybe the users could also change colors or define where the swirling small plasma ball would at the screen or change the background not just black, that would be awesome! You can sell that at the android market and a make a fortune!
I hope this helps. Just try it step-by-step.hehehe.

It's a good start. I don't even know how to do those stuff. My suggestions were a user's/consumer's point of view. I'm also new to this mobile development, heck I haven't even start developing something. I just got my first android phone last month. Anyway I also tried the LWP on my default home launcher, launcher 7 and Go Launcher EX and it works. Though I can't test if how much it consumes battery cause I don't know how do those stuff. Also after unlocking the screen (I'm using Widget Locker) it won't start immediately, it takes a few seconds or when touching the screen to start the animation.
Here are some high-quality boot logos with edited dark charging screens to match. These are for the Moto X Pure ONLY. Tested on XT1575.
This will replace the unlocked bootloader screen as well.
(Not sure if Stock charging screen is white or black? Lineage OS charging screen is black, so it works for me)
If anyone wants any changes, I'll be happy to do so.
How to install:
1. Copy zip to storage
2. Flash via recovery
3. Reboot and enjoy

It would seem that the actual charging animation is done by the kernel. It's not so much an issue for certain roms (Such as lineage OS) which have dark charging screens. I haven't found the location where Motorola stores the charging animation. I believe it's in /res/images/charger.
Only dark background appers in my phone
