Hi, can someone please help me. I upgraded my nexus one to 2.3 and it wasn't working good so I tried to flash another rom onto it but I couldn't. Now the phone won't even work it just shows the loading screen and never boots up. Also I can't get into recovery mode. I would really appreciate if someone can help me.
Read my signature, look for "Unroot/restore" guide there.
thanks i will check it out

Iam new to this so i haven't made a backup on my ROM etc.. I really need help on this. i can still go to download mode and flash anything i haven't tried other boatloaders i feel its a bad idea i tried searching for my Verizon bootloader but still no luck help me please
*bump* can anybody help me..
I'm pretty noob with this stuff but after trying to flash to a new kernel, i got stuck at the samsung boot screen forever, but also could get in to download mode.
I can't link because this is my first post but google "restore verizon galaxy tab back to stock" and the first link should be a jamesriter blog that details the steps and links to the necessary files.
That solution got me back to stock
hope it helps
it started when i wanted to upgrade my galaxy tab to 2.3.3 gingerbread but something went wrong on oden and my galaxy stucked at screen of death (that screen that has a mobile icon pc and an exclamation mark) anyway i got out of it using hiemdall but now iam stucked at adroid system recovery 3e how to go back to the OS and also i can go to download screen ......
thnx (sorry for disturbance)
guys 85 views and no answer plz i need help
Well I can tell you how to completely brick your tab but I, probably as well as most of the people who viewed your post, don't know how to fix...
Doesn't take much to view a post, less to give bad advice... Requires patience to get the person who can help, to find your post and answer...
You also have a cdma tab, i believe, that's bad as most people have the gsm variant. It also means that steps I take to rectify your problem on my tab will probably brick yours...
Now, would you like me to tell you how to fix MY tab???
Also, no idea what you were on, what you were trying to flash, rooted or unrooted, locked bootloader check done and cdma, wifi-only or gsm??? We need this information before we can help.
thnx for your reply ultra. my phone is gsm (the one that i can insert sim card) and its rooted and i was updating to ginerbread when oden stucked at factoryfs and failed and it bricked i used hiemdall to skip the pc screen and go to download screen so what can i do know ????????
thnx in advance
1st thing I'd do is get my stock froyo rom... The one that came on the gtab. reflash that and then try again from there if successful...
You night find your stock rom here on xda or you might need to go further afield like samfirmware. I'd also, if back on stock rom, test to make sure my bootloaders weren't locked otherwise you may end up here again....
bootloadercheck/patch can be found in this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=888071
Cheers...

Did you check to see if you had a locked bootloader before attempting to flash?
Which rom/guide did you use/follow?
Have you tried the Overcome rom/guide?
Hey guys
first of all thanks a lot for this great forum.
I have a question regarding my new Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (Value Edition) (model number: GT-I8200N).
Is there any way to root my phone? I can't find any info for this model on the internet.
In this thread only the GT-8200 is mentioned. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2185700. How is this method working?
I found a guide for rooting the "normal" S3 mini by flashing the CWM and SuperSU.
Is it possible to root my phone this way without bricking it?
Thanks in advance for your help!
wondering

yes i want to know too
Is this phone built on same board as the US s3mini sm-g730a? If so at least you can root it. Dont try anything for i8190.
Sent through time and space from my s3mini/CM11
The specs of the two models look similiar but how can I check which board is in my phone?
Thanks alot for the advice not to try anything for the gt-i9190!
root i8200N 100%
I confirm that VRoot works 100% on i8200N sorry for my english.

wbr
reytech
Try this, it roots almost any device.
Hi, i have an i8200L and I did root it with the vRoot. But does anyone know if the others mods for i8190 work for this one? Like ROMs and all that?
I've read that you can't flash roms etc. because there are differences in the software (bootloader?).
The chance that you brick your phone is pretty high.

Brick?
Hi,
first I tried to flash a custom rom and afterwards I read this thread.
There is no excuse for that, i know. But I know now, that i flashed a wrong rom.
Can I throw the Mobile away or is there a chance for it?
My GT-I8200N now shows me just a window with the words "firmware upgrade encountered
an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again".
I don´t know what to do know, maybe someone can help me.
Thanks

That is download mode. You have to chose vol+ to see your status.
To get out of download mode, just hold power for about 10 sec and it will reboot to system.
Recovery mode: vol+ / home / power
Download mode: vol- / home / power (confirm with vol+)
Thanks for answer. In recovery i can not see anything. In download Mode it says "system status: official". But at the top it says "odin mode" Does that mean that warranty is still ok or not?
Is still ok!
Samsung S3 mini i2800L unlocked - hard bricked
Hi All,
While updating my firmware via odin, the update failed and my phone was stuck in download mode , I did a battery pull and now the phone will not come on at all. The computer makes hardware connection sound when I plug it in or unplug it, but other than that I cant get it to respond.
I would like to get a debrick file or a bootlader.img for this model so I can try to boot it from my SD card. Can anyone help me ????

I'm so glad
Hey guys my cousin tried to upload a custom rom on his Galaxy S3 Mini, and something went wrong.
When i checked the base model before it went into bootloop it said it was the 8190N, but when i take the battery off, it says I8190 (Not N).
i can't go into recovery mode. i can only get to download mode. i am trying to find a solution, i am trying to find an official rom, that might help me, but it seems i can't get it to work.
My cousin has to leave tomorrow for a travel, and it is important to have his phone back...
Can you please help me with some advice?
Last custom rom that tried to get installed was virginity, it got root and super user, but after the installation of the rom, it got into bootloop.
Please share some ideas - links.
Thanks,
Ted
Just for future reference...
I managed to fix it. It took me all night because sammobile sucks when it comes to download speed.
the phone was actually i8190, but for some strange reason it said i8190N in the About info.
when i managed to find the original official stock rom, i was able to upload it through Odin and download mode.
