[SOLVED] HTC One Mini 2 HS USB Android Diagnostic port enabling? - HTC One Mini 2

Hi guys.
Does anyone have any instructions on how to enable HS USB Android Diag/Serial/Modem ports for HTC One Mini 2 please?
With the device connected to my Windows 10 machine, In command prompt I get the device id response when I type adb device which indicates the connection on adb is ok. I then type adb shell which of course takes me into the shell. Now what do I type in order to invoke the HS USB diagnostic ports in Device Manager on my Windows 10 PC?? I want to be able to get the HS USB diag port enabled, so that I can use QXDM.
Are there any ADB commands that will need to be typed (after adb shell) in order to enable HS USB Android Diag/Modem ports?
I have downloaded and installed the HTC Sync Manager, but this has not helped.
HTC One Mini 2 has Android version 4.4.2. Does the device have to be rooted?
On my PC In Device Manager, I see the following:
Android USB Devices
> My HTC
Network adapters
> HTC Remote NDIS based Device
Portable Devices
> HTC One Mini 2
Ports
> HTC Sync Manager Serial Interface (COM6)
I am in need of help with this please. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Need Help with ADB

ADB stopped working on my desktop suddenly (It still works on my laptop) adb devices show nothing, and adb shell brings "error: device not found."
I've uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled many times, going over the process outlined here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532719&highlight=adb+noobs
Running KingxKxRom 2.2 (Hero rom)
I've looked on the forums for people with the same problem, but their solutions didn't work for me. Example: stopping the adb.exe process, etc
USB debugging is checked.
Device manager shows:
Android Phone:
Android Composite ADB Interface
USBDeview shows:
Android Phone: HTC Android Phone USB Device
Android Phone: USB Mass Storage Device
Android Phone: Android Composite ADB Interface
Any ideas how to fix this?
What OS are you running?
On my computer?
Windows XP
Have you tried removing your usb drivers in the device manager?
This same thing happened to me. I just uninstalled all of the usb ports, and when I reset my computer it recognized the ports, and everything seemed to work again.

[Q] Android Compostite ADB device missing from Devices therefore no ADB

I'm trying to get adb shell work w OB, but no device is showing up after "adb devices" command.
There isn't any "Android composite adb device" in the device manager, only
"LGE Android Platform Composite USB Device" (does not work width the android sdk drivers).
- No "Other devices" present (Edit: There is a couple - all of them are Bluetooth related)
- Latest LG USB drivers installed
- USB debugging turned on
- tried all 4 usb ports
- Win7 32bit

Serval driver rei stall and phone reboot solved the issue.
Thread sould be deleted.
Sent from my LG-P970 using XDA App
having little bit different problem - i do have LGE Android Platform Composite USB Device in device manager. Driver says it's 2.2.0.0 from 30.11.2010 by LG Electronics Inc.
But adb can't find any devices.
edit:
usb debugging somehow has turned off

USB device offline

I installed all HTC drivers but adb says device offline. is that because of USB 3.0 I use ? Anything else ?
So long as you're using the latest ADB (1.0.31) the phone will ask permission to connect to the PC. If you don't tick this it won't work

My Pixel are on last Android 12 and root with magisk. it is possible that a mode can create a problem with the OTG ?
I have test on Safe mod doesn't work too
I have connect an usb type c usb key it recognize.
I have test connect on plateform tools and on terminal ./adb devices, have message on pixel to allow my computer and it recognize but not Android File transfert ?
I think stay the new update and see if I can update it !?
I don't understand why ?
Thanks
Hi ! I post again because when I connect usb key mtp works and if I connect to my mac and go to settings usb parameters and choose transfert files/Android auto that work but never had notification pop-up for choose it
USB is a master/slave protocol. When you plug in an otg cable, your phone's USB controller switches into host mode. Your computer's USB is always in host mode. So your effectively trying to get two master devices to communicate which USB does not support.
