I wouldn't trust slim-grip by itself, but it comes with a safety strap which should hold it secure.

How bout this?
It cover the whole phone for rainy days. Bird crap, or simply road grime, insects, bugs, etc

I've already one and it works very bad screen reflects a lot in the sun even if you keep it tight

I would suggest spending some to look at ram mount. Probably for an otter box case. Do some homework and if anyone runs across anything a link will be posted here.
Would live to see plenty of alternative options. This thread almost appears to be a shopping request. So I would suggest posts with a link. If anyone has ACTUAL feedback then fire away. Cheers

This product should work. With no case the Note 2 measures 5.95" long, 3.17" wide and less than 0.37" deep. With my case on it's 6.25" long, 3.375" wide and 1/2" deep. You have to buy the box, the handlebar mount and arm. Luckily I just have to by the box.

[Q] Alternative to dock

Hi,
I got the Z1 and love the phone(some bad reception on it, but meh ), however I've gotten a few problems.
Firstly, I bought a wallet casing for it, but it doesnt fit into the docking with this on ( and the big 'frame' placed in ), so I have to take this case off all the time.
The second problem was that when I bought display films instead, I bought the Copter fullbody ( front and back ), with theese on the phone got too thick to fit into the non-casing dock and way to thin to fit into the casing one.
This is really annoying, so does anyone have an alternative?
Like an docking station that has customizeable width on it ?

One simple option is to just get the magnetic charge cable by itself.

Yes,
I saw this as an option previously but I heard alot of people had problems with it not sticking. But am looking at options for this yes

It works, it just isn't a very strong magnetic connection that holds the cable in place.

What's about this? I think it's better acting as a safe removal

Nice photos. Just wanted to ask how the rhinoshield feels in the hand, and how much bulk it adds to the device? Also do you really think it would do much in a drop as the product claims?

Well it's not bad at all it feels good in the hand. It's lighter then the adopted one and doesnt add too much bulk.
The adopted gives a little more grip. Maybe because it's satinized (dont know if it is the correct word) I mean "grainy"
This is my first phone with a bumper/case, never used.
I'm using the adopted one right now not for a particular reason, maybe because this one covers the back .
Both cases are good. The bumper could protect the phone from those breakneck falls? well I dont know why but Id say... it's close, more then the google one.
It gives me the feeling that its a good bumber to protect the phone, thats why its not so thin... "compromises"

Just got the rhinoshield, feels solid in hand, but disappointed at the buttons. Extremely hard to press and negates the double press of power for camera.

I agree on the camera. Could have been a great case. May keep our for protection while MTB and snowboarding.

Ya imm fix the power button issue easy
Just take the case off and paint a small dot on the inside of the power button with nail polish and few times til its hard hard and it will be more sensitive

Jack problem

Hi guys, I've noticed something that is really bothering me. When I plug my headphones the phone doesn't recognize them unless I make the jack twist a little bit but then I don't have smart functions on Spotify for example. It also has problems when I plug the aux cable..it works but while I scroll songs, Google search opens on its own. The question is: is the jack faulty or is it a software bug? In case it's hardware does any of you know how much would it be to change it? Thanks a lot.

I had the same issue as you. And good news nothing is faulty (probably). It's just dust that built up in the jack. You can clean it with compressed air from for example a bottle of compressed air or a compressor (if you have something like that). And if you do this you can clean the USB-C port to. Alternatively you can use a bit of cardboard to carefully remove the dust. This should fix the issue. You should do this every few months.

I'm going to get one of these soon coz I don't use a case. How has the durability been so far? And do you use a case over it?

How is the grip compared to the case that comes with the a3? I'd like something grippy, almost sticking to my hand so I almost don't even have to hold it

Cases feel totally different in hand but this skin add a bit of grip to the device compare to it's naked version.
