Phone not connecting first try - Android Auto General

I've noticed this the past few times I've tried to make a phone call with Android Auto. The phone will say it's dialing, but there is no dialing noise. If I hang up and try again, it works. When I finally reach the person I was calling, they said they did receive the first phone call but noone was on the other end. Has anyone else experienced this? I have a Nexus 6p and a 2015 Hyundai Sonata.

Stange, no calls!

Some times I can't make a call: Whenever I intiate a call, it disconnects immediately. During this time too, I can't receive calls. Callers tell me later that my phone was closed!
I need to restart my phone to get to normal situation. I appreciate your help/advice.

[Q] Mic issues, people can't hear me

I'm having an issue where sometimes people cannot hear me on phone calls. It's complete random but does happen 1-2x a day. It's regardless of whether or not I'm on Wi-Fi or carrier data. Or even if I'm dialing or receiving the call. If i disconnect the call and try a second time, it works fine. I've tried searching but the only solutions i found are related to a screen protector blocking the mic (which isn't the issue in my case). Also regardless of whether I'm using the phone, speakerphone, or even Bluetooth, Can anyone help?

You are not alone. I have been having the same issue on my VZW version. Ppl say that my voice cuts in and out. I can't find a solution anywhere. I'm about to flash the stock firmware(I'm still running stock) and see if that does anything.

[Q] Silence when answering phone call

I have VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling turned off. Sometimes when I answer an incoming call quickly (actually that doesn't matter), I just get silence and I can't hear the caller and they can't hear me. I have to hang up and try again; Anyone else encounter this?
Update: I think I narrowed it down. Apparently the first call I receive after rebooting my phone always fails (unless I've made an outgoing call first). Subsequent calls work fine until my phone is powered down or rebooted, then the 1st incoming call fails again. I can reproduce this 100% of the time.
I've had this happen a couple times, funny thing is I've had it happen on my S4 and S5 as well.. Im starting to think its Tmo's network.
It might be a glitch with T-Mobile's network, but I haven't encountered it on previous devices. For example, I just switched from the Nexus 5 and never had a problem with voice calls.
I've had this happen a few times also with my S6. Never happened before, and I've been with T-Mobile for over 2 years.
This only happens for me occasionally if one of the callers is on Wifi calling, but it's happened with every phone (not just the S6) so it's definitely a network issue
I found this related to the S4, http://thedroidguy.com/2013/06/gala...ting-incoming-calls-66029#jMqaFVvIYCDRQHse.97. I've disabled the mute function in motions and gestures. We'll see if that works.

Been with Tmo for 5 years now and I have had this happen on previous devices.. could be the area I am... lol, I also notice a delay when making a call out which I believe is the network
Never had this problem on S4, but since getting the S6 this problem has been bugging me. Very frustrating.

[Q] HELP - Phone hangs up immediately after answering call

Ok, I've got a problem that just started happening the last week or two. When certain people call me, I can answer. However my phone always hangs up on them 1 second after the call. The behavior is the same, based on the number calling me.
For instance, if my wife calls me from her cell phone (Sprint iPhone 5S), it will always hang up immediately after answering.
If my wife calls me from our house phone, it always works like normal.
This so far as I can tell, only affects inbound calls. I have no issues calling out.
Running latest OTA. I've updated PRL and profile, and it made no difference. I've never rooted the phone or messed with S-on/off. Pure stock. I have rebooted the phone into safe mode, and the same behavior is present.
Interestingly enough, I'm also on Sprint, I have a Nexus 6 and my wife a Note 4, and we've had the same issue over the past week or two. She can call me and immediately after answering the call will end. This has happened with her calling from her cell phone and her office phone, both of which are attached to her contact. I can call out with no problem, and I've tested calling my phone from different numbers and had no problem. No clue whats going on.
Are one (or both) of you using Sprint's Google Voice integration?

I am having the same issues when my mom (S4) whose on the same contract as me, calls me (S6 edge) it always hang up immediately after I pick it up. I have no issues calling her though. I am using Sprint's Google voice integration but I do not believe my mom is.
It is the Google Voice integration that is causing the disconnects.

I'm having the same problem with a Metro PCS phone. I've seen it elsewhere on line - it's some Android issue.

Phone automatically hangs up after answering calls from specific contact

I'm on Sprint, I have a Nexus 6 and my wife a Note 4. Over the past week or two I've had an issue where my wife can call me, and immediately after answering, the call will end. This has happened with her calling from her cell phone and her office phone, both of which are attached to her contact. I can call out with no problem, and I've tested calling my phone from different numbers and had no problem. No clue whats going on.
Internet searches have come up dry. Any ideas?
EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention that I'm rooted and running the latest Chroma (5/3/15 r2) and franco combo.

I think you just don't wanna talk to your wife =P hahaha jk! sorry I couldn't resist.
This is happening to me too. Only with my fiancé. We both have N6's on sprint, and every time she calls me when I answer it immediately hangs up. It never happens when I call her though.

I thought it was just me, I'm on sprint too.

Went online and disconnected my number from Google Voice, and that *seems* to have done the trick.
Maybe its a feature

Having this too. I don't want to remove Google Voice integration though. Any other thoughts? It's my wife's phone also. Funny how it is all our wives/girlfriends and no one else.
Update (6/29): Maybe this is fixed now as I seem to be able to answer my wife's incoming call the past few times now.
