If I root and install custom rom, can I get back to stock frf91

I have an unlocked, nonrooted AT&T/Rogera N1 running stock froyo (frf91). I am very interested in rooting and flashing CM6 and trying out other custom roms, but if I want to get back to stock froyo, how do I do it?
Keep in mind that I'm a newbie, and yes I've searched the forums but I haven't seen this specific question asked.
Any help is appreciated, since I'm still learning. Thanks.

Yes, once you're rooted you can switch to any ROM you want with ease, even stock should you wish.

You can even use the ROM Manager application included with CM6 to automagically download and flash stock images. You know, if you wanted to.
Thanks for the help guys!

There are stock rooted roms in the BadBoyz thread

[Q] Need help reverting back.

Hey guys, I recently flashed OmniROM on my phone which needed a raw r4 kernel with Selinux support but this ROM has been giving me problems so I decided to revert back to 4.3 or maybe 4.2.2.
I wanted to know how if there a particular set of instructions I need to follow to get it back to a TW based ROM from the AOSP. I tried searching but all of the Rom threads give instructions to go from TW to AOSP but not the other way round.
If you could add the link of any required Kernel with the answer it would be greatly helpful. If not, its okay too. I will search for it
Also, a few suggestions would be welcome as to which Rom should I flash. I mainly require a ROM which is both stable and battery friendly.
If you want to go back to Touchwiz, you will first need to flash philz kernel & recovery (unfortunately I can't post the link on this app but its easy to find here), then reboot recovery and flash your TW ROM. As for my personal opinion, definitely AryaMod, it is both feature packed _and_ quick, with the advantage of a buttery smooth launcher.

Change from password to PIN screen unlock after full ecryption
I have krypton 1.4 on my moto x and yesterday I succesfully encrypted it using a strong password, but now I find that it is really a pain in the a.. to input that password everytime I need to unlock. So I'm wondering if it is posible to change the unlock method from password to PIN without messing the phone or loosing information.
Also, is it still posible to upgrade ROM after full encryption?
Thanks
about management of the radio

G+ Community
Hi!
Do you have a G+ Community for this ROM?
Regards,
Luis
Is anyone using this ROM with Tapatalk notifications working?
I've tried using it but none of the Tapatalk active display notifications work. Every other notification works fine with active display though.
Then when I SBF back to stock Tapatalk notifications work fine. I've tried going back and forth between both several times. Stock always work and Krypton never does.
Any ideas? I'd love to use this.
in other custom rom there is a nice settings Power Battery, is it possible to install on this rom?
[Q] Compatibility

I believe this ROM is prefect mixed with xposed and doesn't need anything just my opinion. It's my daily for a long long time. I've been toying with LP just for fun and I'm sure once official drops krypton will work his magic on 5.0

Cm themer needs a rom based on CM. Possibly other aosp roms can add it.... But this is based on stock moto firmware, it won't work.
Google now isn't working for me after a fresh installation. Restored backup of stock ROM and it worked again.
For some reason the phone radio is terrible on this ROM so sad had to go back to stock..... XT1052
downgrade?
I currently have a Verizon xt1060 running Safestrap with Krypton 1.4.1 (4.4.4) installed. I want to drop back to a version that allows sunshine usage. Can I just restore my original backup of the original firmware that I made in the very beginning?
Thanks!

If you're talking about a nandroid then yes you can flash back to that but it won't affect your ability to use sunshine. You would have to get back to older firmware which would likely brick your phone if you tried. Search for "downgrade brick" and you'll see. You just will have to wait for sunshine 3.0 and don't take a lollipop ota should it come out before sunshine.

I believe my nandroid is 4.4.2 or 4.4.3. So, it will be compatible with Sunshine. I did use the tool to update the kernel though, per the optional instructions in the krypton thread. Will those revert when i nandroid in the safestrap bootloader? Do I just restore as normal into the stock ROM slot or will a basic hard reset do it since it is the bootstrap recovery not a normal custom recovery? Again for reference, this is a Verizon xt1060 nondev, currently locked boatloader.

So I don't know much of anything about safestrap and whether an older (4.4.3 or less) primary rom will still allow you to use sunshine. Take my advice with a grain of salt but I think the best answer is still to just wait for sunshine 3.0 and get a real unlocked bootloader.
Best stock KitKat rom for the Moto X can't wait for the Lollipop build.

[Q] Bootloader

HI, wanted to know of a way to check what kind of bootloader I have. Btw flashed and ran AOSP lollipop ROMs and stock based KitKat ROMs, but when trying to flash CloudyG2 3.3 which is a stock based lollipop rom it got stuck in a bootloop.
Help appreciated, thanks.
Well the 39a bootstack is required for that rom and its highly recommended if coming aosp roms to flash complete stock (in op's posts) and bootstack which is included with the debloated stock rom. Also make sure to do a full wipe coming from a different base or its null and void
Edit: oh and the first most important to do before anything is backup!
Thanks for the answer. I figured it out a little after writing here Thanks anyway.
