Hello everyone, i have just bought a Sony Xperia SP (C3503 ; FW 12.A.1.257) i want to root my device. So, i need to unlock bootloader. However, can i relock bootloader after root ???? Have anyone done that before ???
Please answer, i'm new to Xperia. Thank you very much .

I think you write faster than you read.
Sony Xperia SP (C3503; 12.A.1.257 FW) is not rootable without bootloaderunlock.
Maybe in the next release ...
we have now added support for:
Xperia SP (C5302/3, M35h) {FW: 12.0.A.1.257}

I find it extremely hard to believe that it doesnt work when ive used this method hundreds of times, and to be exact yesterday to root .67 firmware.

On cm website z1 is honami, what about z1s? The same?

They are the same thing but don't go flashing custom roms, we z1s users only have one ROM and its miui but still in beta 1, if you want to try it out its in the android development section, please read instruction carefully though. The z1s has a locked boot loader compared to the z1 because of Sony and T-Mobile but some other z1 users don't have boot loader unlocks because their carrier locks it, if you wanted custom ROM customization you chose the wrong phone, but we can install some mods z1 users enjoy like stereo mod and 4k

Hello all.
I would like to join the Xperia Beta Program. I have a few questions and I would really appreciate if you can kindly reply.
1) How can I join the beta program? Should I just install the com.sonymobile.xperiabeta.signup_1.1.apk and register, and then wait for the OTA? (I live in Greece).
2) My phone (Z3c) is not rooted. It is stock with the 23.5.A.0.570 rom. Should it be rooted or can I keep it stock?
3) Do I lose the warranty of the phone if I join the beta program?
