Best stock firmware for Xperia Z3+ ? - Xperia Z4/Z3+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
Which is the best stock firmware for Xperia Z3+ , because right now i am running on 28.0.a.8.266 . How is the marshmallow update ? Should I update my firmware to marshmallow or is there any other firmware available before marshmallow in lollipop is good.
Thanks,
Naveen

Hi, I think you'll get an answer if you head over here: Sony Xperia Z4/Z3+

Marshmallow update is highly recommended.
Better in performance than previous versions.
Still heats up but less than before.
Same battery life

the .283 is only for telekom/cosmote network from what i see. There is only one build of .283 released by telekom as global-lte
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyurQybDuOQ the build is working great and the heat and battery problems are fixed in this build.

Sony Xperia Z1 Lollipop 14.5.A.0.270

Recently I bought a Sony Xperia Z1 that came with Kitkat. It is worth to upgrade to the Lollipop 14.5.A.0.270 or it is better to stay with Kitkat?

In my opinion its better to unlock the bootloader and install a custom rom
As long as you don't want to unlock your bootloader you could safely upgrade to .270 and root your phone using kingoroot( then remove it using some scripts and install supersu)
Or just stay at .270...
You can also downgrade it back to KK using Flashtool if you don't like lollipop..
Lollipop has some issues (depends sometimes .... ) but for me its better than KK..
Also we are currently waiting the new official 5.1 rom which will fix most of the issues (I hope so)
Stay with KK
IMO It is better to use KitKat with this phone. You can tweak the hell out of it and play with multiple roms. The stock rom for Lollipop on this phone is a joke. You could quite easily use the same software running on z3 roms on this phone.
But for now I have one recommendation. This is my fave rom for Kitkat.

What's the best Android version for Xperia Z?

Hi all. Now I bought a Xperia Z C6603, tired of my Galaxy S3 GT-i9300.
It's branded and customized by Orange operator, and it's currently running 4.4.4.
I want to debrand the debloat the phone, but I'm wondering about the benefits of upgrading to newer Android versions.
Do the phone get faster? Slower? Do the battery last longer? Or shorter?
I'd appreciate your comments.
Thanks all.
the latest official ROM of Z is Lollipop 5.1.1 .222 or .228 firmware version (in my country is .222) wich in my opinion is the fastest official ROM but not a battery friendly.
If you wanna go higher, just root, unlock your bootloader, install latest TWRP and flash LOS 7.1.2. This ROM is nice.
Don't forget to backup your TA partition before unlocking.

Internet Speed on Xperia Z3 Compact on LP and MM is too slow, but on KK is ok

Hello everyonw, I've got a problem with my Xperia Z3 Compact:
Recently, my device, which is running Android 6.0 MM has too slow internet speed. I tried to flash it back to Stock Android 5.1, then 5.0, even Cook rom based on these version, but no changes. Finnally, I flash it back to KK then the problem is fixed.
However, I don't want to stay at Android 4.4. Anyone can tell me what is this problem and how to fix it? Thank you very much.
(Sorry for my bad English).
You can change rom device into japan version, it has good connection
