Change between US & Global models (xt1103 to xt1100) - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've Nexus 6 xt1103 and can't use 4g LTE in Europe(Turkey). The mobile carrier i use support 1(2100) - 3(1800) - 7(2600) - 8(900) - 20(800) LTE bands. Even band-3 and band-7 is supported by my phone, i still can not get 4g.
Is there anyway Nexus 6 model from xt1103 to xt1100?

Search the general subforum. There is a thread on how to add bands that may help.

What's the FCC ID of the international version (T815N)?

Can someone please provide the device FCC ID of the international version (i.e., for the model which begins with SM-T815N...)? Should be written on the box and/or the device.
I am trying to confirm which bands are supported by the T-815N model in the US by looking up the equipment filings with the FCC.
In the past Samsung has been known to make mistakes with respect band support this on their website. (There could be no mistakes in the FCC filings as each band is tested independently.)
Thanks!
There are many versions available.
SM-T715C/T815C

3G WCDMA - B1(2100),B2(1900),B5(850),B8(900)
3G TD-SCDMA - B34(2010),B39(1880)
4G FDD LTE - B1(2100),B3(1800),B7(2600),B8(900),B28(700)

I already know all this and yes, I know there are many versions. Like I mentioned in my original posting I am looking specifically for the FCC ID for the SM-T815Nxxxxx model, which is the most common international variant of the Tab S2.

Questions about Nexus 6

As the title says, i need to know since i wont find anything anywhere.
Next month ill be buying the Nexus 6 comming from a note 3
Whats the difference in model number? Eg XT1100, XT1103
International and US version of the phone.
Is there any hardware specific modem changes that i should be aware of before buying it?
Does it matters to me? (Living in Sweden)
Are all custom roms compatible with both model numbers?
Thanks in advance.
International model (XT1100) is made for GSM, as networks in the developed world are all GSM.
N. America model (XT1103) is backwards-compatible with CDMA2000, and also supports some LTE bands unique to the US (Sprint & Verizon, mostly).
Unless noted otherwise by the dev, all the roms here are supported on both models.

The 1103 US version has a different radio chip wich supports different LTE bands then the 1100 World (including EU) version.
Custom ROMs work on both models. No hardware changes (SD805 and 3GB RAM on both).
Only the radio hardware is different.
The XT1103 supports CDMA from the stone-age, don't know why the americans (VZW/Sprint) haven't moved on yet.
The XT1100 supports the required LTE bands to be used in Sweden. Most likely the common EU Bands (Band 3/Band 7/Band 20).
The XT1103 supports 3 and 7, but not 20 which is the main LTE band in European countries.

XT1103 - Questions regarding value and worldwide usage

I was checking XT1103 i.e. NEXUS 6 64GB in USA. ITs now available for < 250$, which I think is quite a fantastic price. I do not really need "latest and greatest" so older gen phones are ok. However, I am wondering if the XT1103 works in India with 4G-LTE ?
From the wikipedia it says
3g - 1 / 2 / 4 / 5 / 8
However carrier bands are given in MHz on coverage maps
USA is GSM 900/1800
India is 850/1900 MHz
So Should I get XT1100 international version? Will the international version work on any carrier in USA. As long as coverage in cities, is there, its fine. Do not need full remote area coverage.
That said, is it a good idea at < 300$ for 64GB, or I should look at NEXUS 6P price drop?
To see the bands available by the nexus 6 I suggest going here:
http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_nexus_6-6604.php
To check the bands that each carrier use by country I suggest going here:
https://www.frequencycheck.com/carriers
Just do a comparisson and buy the one that suits you more I guess.
On the other hand, at this point I would wait for a price drop on the 6p. In december last year I got the 32gb nexus 6 brand new for 250, so at this date it's not a bad deal, but also not the best, it's a 2 year old phone after all.
The US model (XT1103) would not get LTE in India because the LTE frequencies wouldn't be correct, but 3G and HSPA+ would function just fine. You want the XT1100 if LTE is offered by your carrier.
Thanks, I was thinking that XT1100 is US version and XT1103 is the international version. Is it the other way round? Will the international version work inside USA (3g 2g only good enough)

So XT1100 is great. I went to the websites suggested. It says INDIA LTE is B40 (TD 2300)
Phone specs for LTE say.
I do not see 2300 in either of them.
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 9(1800), 19(800), 20(800), 28(700), 41(2500) - XT1100
LTE band 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700), 25(1900), 26(850), 29(700), 41(2500) - XT1103
LTE band 4(1700/2100), 13(700) - Verizon
You're not imagining it. Neither model has band 40 support out of the box, therefore you won't be getting LTE at all, regardless of model. It may be possible to add the missing band, and there is a thread in the General subforum on how to do that. If you don't want to go through that however, the international 6P apparently does have band 40, so that may be a better option for you.

[Q] Can I activate Nexus 6 XT1100 LTE bands?

I bought a Nexus 6 XT1100 brand new but didn't realize that it doesn't support T-mobile's LTE bands. Is there any way to activate them or do I have to buy the XT1103 version?
Thanks for your help.
I too have the question

I do not know which XT version i have i am from India and would be grateful if Band 40 could be enabled.
Is it possible?
That may sound weird , but i am not expert to this stuff thanks.
Band 40 is not available on either Nexus 6. You want a 6P for band 40.
We have an entire thread on enabling missing bands in the General subforum. However, I don't believe it can add bands neither device has.

Nokia 7 Plus TA-1055 Supported LTE

Hi all, How are you?
Sorry for the basic question, I could not find a reliable source to verify Nokia 7 Plus model TA-1055 supported LTE Bands.
I am planning to travel to UK, and I need to make sure that model TA-1055 supports my country LTE Bands.
Please, May someone know supported LTE Bands for model TA-1055?
I appreciate any help you can give me
Look for "Nokia 7 Plus" on wikipedia.
Go down to reference no. 3 and click on link.
It will show you all supported bands.
Wikipedia suggested reference says that TA-1055 is a Dual SIM model, which is wrong information - TA-1055 is single SIM model.
Therefore, I think It has incorrect information about TA-1055 supported LTE bands as well.
Please, Does someone know a reliable reference to check supported TA-1055 supported bands?
This is the Wikipedia Suggested reference link:
http://phonedb.net/index.php?m=device&id=13305&c=nokia_7_plus_android_one_dual_sim_td-lte_in
Thanks in advance
Please, May someone help me?
Does model TA-1055 supports LTE bands 7 (2600),3 (1800), and 28(700)?
Thanks in advance
LTE Band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41 (Full band 41)
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
WCDMA Band 1, 2, 5, 8
That's taken from the Get Started guide which was bundled with my TA-1055.
Please, Where did you find this information?
