I'm getting constant freezing with marshmellow espically when opening ram heavy apps. I've done resets

I've been lately seeing multiple performance problems, having updated to official Sammy 4.4.2 Kitkat a few months ago. I'm unable to isolate these problems as separate from simply a worn out battery.I still have a fair amount of apps installed (about 100-150 total) but nothing that is an obvious cuplrit other than the usual clients: facebook, chrome, whatsapp and flipboard.
- RAM usage is very high (1.56 GB out of 1.98 GB). Killing all apps has no effect on the available RAM, there are just too many system processes that don't quit.
- battery drainage has been out of control, whereas previously I might go 14 hours on a full charge, now it's over in 3-4 hours
- battery often gets hot, while low, while charging, while using the phone, while using the screen, etc.
- apps like whatsapp often freeze for 5-15 seconds while taking keyboard input. alternate keyboards than Sammy exhibit the same problem.
- battery usage is overwhlemingly (50%+) "Android System" which could mean any of the dozen services running (facebook, google play, exchange, flipboard, briefing, email)
What I tried:
- uninstalled any big apps like games and audio
- disabled all the Sammy bloatware and froze other apps
- limited bg processes to 4 or 2 using debugger mode
Same visible problems with RAM, heat, CPU usage and battery health continue. What are my best options?
- debug it better, root the phone to get shell access and look for resource hogs
- buy a new battery
- reset phone to original settings, reinstall problem apps starting with whatsapp
- root with custom mod like cyanogen 4.4.3
- downgrade to 4.4.2
- get a performing phone like Nexus 5
I m really sick of this update
I have this issue of severe battery drain by two main culprits at Number one it's MEDIA
and number two is ANDROID SYSTEM. I have already cleared cache using recovery and cleared data in settings. Have checked most of my pics and videos. My battery won't last more then 4 hrs. I have disabled most of the bloat apps and quite a bit of Samsung apps. Sync is @ manual
Android system cpu usage after a whole day typically is around 6 hrs
Media cpu usage usually is around 5.30hrs
Searched through the net and found no real fix for the battery drain
P.S - I DID THE FACTORY DATA RESET 1 2 TIMES.
Please help
Update : When ever I manually kill media app and disable it for a while and then re enable it.. Everything works fine for some time.
Battery drain is somewhat gone.. As I have deleted most of the .MP3 files but I m still facing the issue of random restarts and freezing. I have used many softwares to know the reason for random restarts and freeze but no success.
Any suggestions??
Update : Media is somewhat tamed but I have developed weird issue of random 5 - 10 sec freeze. Whatever taps I make during the time the fone is frozen it remains unresponsive but after a few seconds it responds to all the tap commands but after 10 seconds.
Some times I have to put phone in standby mode to sort the problem .
But after that initial problem it is perfectly normal and responsive.
How do I fix this issue
Ps- I have cleared cache several times.
I've only been really using my S6A for a few months, and in that time it has been getting exponentially slower, now to the point that it lags several seconds before showing the home screen. Upon checking the stats, I noticed that the RAM was almost topped out, and even a ram cleaner couldn't keep more that 200Mb free. I've heard this may be a problem with touchwiz, but I'm curious, is it really a common problem, and is there a fix? P.S. I only have two user apps running in the background, and they usually take up 50Mb of RAM between them, so it's not that.
My old Samsung galaxy express had an issue like this to the extent where I got annoyed and switched to the moto g3. If you use any app such as clean master, you may think it works, but it actually doesn't help, it makes performance worse.my suggestion is to uninstall any cleaner apps if you have any and restart your device.
When i bought this phone, i had 3.4.5 OS version i think, it worked great especially memory management was FANTASTIC i had like 15 apps open and even after 5-6h idle time, the apps where not reloaded. After updating to 4.0 the battery started to get way worse, so i was happy to see they released 4.0.1, but now the battery is a tiny bit better (vs 4.0) but....the apps started to reload like crazy, even 3-4 apps are being reloaded in no time, like 2-3mins?
Anyone have an idea whats going on, is it memory leak?!
factory reset might solve this issue bro
My Realme X2 Pro (12GB Variant) is slowing down
I bought the phone about 3-4 Months ago and it was working absolutely fine until a few days ago
It heats up very frequently and sharply now,it's battery drains quickly and while using almost every app ,there is a massive performance drop from before
I've tried a lot of things like restarting the phone , removing unnecessary apps , clearing storage, and even reupdated the phone through recovery mode, still no difference
I generally do gaming and social media scrolling on my phone (not facebook)
What do I do to fix the issue now???
Do you use Nova Launcher? I got massive battery drain when I allow this to run in the background.

No I don't
I use the default coloros system launcher
You said you tried everything but didn't mention a factory reset ?
Install Greenify, BetterBatteryStats
